I came here to watch the Michigan game on a Saturday. I was able to sit at a table with my friends. They had my favorite cider (Downeast cider)! My friends and I also shaded some chicken fingers and pretzels. I didn't really care for the chicken fingers and wish they were more crispy and Raising Cane like. The pretzel was hotttt and came with 2 pretzels.

Decent classic Irish pub ambiance spot to grab a pint and watch some sports. Didn't get any food, but the burgers that came out looked good. My partner and I each took advantage of the HH drink specials, which were good (esp for the area). Bartender was friendly and attentive!

My partner loves this place and we came here mostly to get nachos. The waiter was very nice but the food took forever. Once the food got to the table the nachos were really good. The fries were good but when I asked for cheese and bacon (they were add-on options) it left little to be desired; you can see in the picture the barely melted cubes of cheese and chunks of bacon. It tasted okay but not what I was expecting. Overall good place to chill and drink beer.

Great atmosphere, great staff, great for sports. Wings were good, nothing to scream from the mountaintops about but a solid sports bar wing. Licked the bones clean so I'd say they are dependable little buggers. If you want a good time with friends, sports and wings...this is your spot.

Came here on a Tuesday and was quite impressed. I thought it was gonna be a typical bar. The food was actually pretty good! The Chicago style hot dogs, loaded hash and buffalo wings are a must get. They have trivia night in Tuesdays and the winning group gets free shots.

After a great time at Triona's in Greenwich about two months ago, we randomly stumbled upon this new location on Third Ave and had a blast here as well! Walking in, you'll see a few high-top tables up by the front window, and plenty of seating along the bar counter. Colored LED strips illuminate the back bar in a soothing orange, with a light blue glow emanating from beneath the bar counter. The side wall opposite the back bar is plastered with vintage-style wood and tin signs, with two chalkboards detailing the happy hour specials and available beers. Plenty of flatscreen TVs jut out from the ceilings and walls, giving everyone a good view when there's a game on. There's some stacked stone on the back wall, with soft directed lighting bringing out its shadows...overall the whole bar looks very cool and polished. After sitting down at the bar, we were greeted by none other than Triona's brother Michael, who served us a few rounds of $4 Shock Tops and $5 specialty shots (both of which were discounted on Thursday nights). Michael was great to talk to, striking up conversations with us in-between serving and laughing with the other patrons at the bar. He even let one of our friends back behind the bar to thumb through his Spotify playlist and throw some new songs in the mix! Gut-renovated and open for less than one month, this place doesn't quite have that "lived in" feel of its Greenwich counterpart, but the solid drink specials/prices, friendly staff, assortment of flatscreens, and rockin' music playlist make visits to this place worth putting on repeat!

Love this place! Great food, including salads, great place to watch a game, the bartenders are best and the Trivia night Tuesday is a must.

Never heard this concept before and first time here .. not a bad concept . You recharge ur card and tap and get a beer . No waitress , no bartenders . It's good in a way because you don't need to wait 5-10 mins for bartenders to attend you.. The collection of IPAs and beers were good . Wish they had more New England IPAs. Saw some Brooklyn ones , which isn't bad , but nothing as compared to New England ones . It was about 0.86 to 0.88 $ an ounce . When I poured half glass, it was about 5.2$ ! I think it is slightly expensive than other bars around . Food was also on the upper side . Wish they had some snacks or fries less than 8$ for everyone to munch something . Food ranged between 13-20$ .. interiors were good . Nice ambience and music. Very helpful employees. Super service . Good experience overall.. 4 stars ..

Initially, we sat in the back by the bar and ordered burgers but then we moved and decided to try the self pour option. What's cool about this place is that you can buy a card (reminded me of buying a game card at the arcade) and then scan your card at any of the taps to pour your own beer! There are plenty of options from lagers, IPAs, seltzers etc. It's a fun way to try something new!

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

I showed up an hour and a half early before the event I went to "started", got a seat at the short (Ada compliant) bar and settled in to grab a drink or two before everything started. It took 45 mins for someone (2 people were working) to actually make it down to our side on the bar, everyone I was sitting with, including the tables, wanted to order. The girls next to me said they got there 15 mins before me. If I wasn't here specifically to watch a show with other people in my community I would have left. An hour for a drink!?!?! I took it on the chin and just ordered 2 drinks, which was great because an hour and a half (we ordered the second time after the show started) later they finally came back. Not sure if I would end up coming back, which is sad because I love a watching professional women's sports and this place was made for it but not worth the wait times.

The restaurant sits on the corner in a striking building, giving it lots of energy. Inside, there are TVs everywhere, making it easy to catch the game from almost any seat. As kickoff got closer, the place filled up with soccer fans, creating a fun match-day atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating with TVs, so you don't have to miss any of the action if you prefer eating outside. The best surprise? They have a dog menu! Before my humans even ordered, the staff brought me a fresh bowl of water. I ordered the Salmon & Rice Bowl, and I cleaned my plate without leaving a single grain of rice behind. The humans shared a pitcher of sangria while cheering on the match. Mom ordered Judy's Corn appetizer, which was full of flavor and disappeared quickly, while Dad went with the classic chicken tenders and fries. Between the friendly staff, the lively sports atmosphere, and how welcome they made me feel, Judy Z's is an easy recommendation whether you're stopping by for brunch, happy hour, or to catch a big game. Dogba's Verdict If your humans love sports bars but hate leaving you at home, Judy Z's solves that problem.
