It's always nice listening to the clerks' "peanut gallery" commenting on who just left the store. I was amazed with the selection that this place has. The prices are much higher than the HEB across the way, but it's a lot easier to get in and outta this place. They sell gas too! They have plenty of macro-brewed beers, wines, and ciders. They even sell 12 packs of Lone Star Beer at a reasonable rate. The clerks are on the rough side- one of them comes armed with a big knife. But it fits the clientele. They are on the ball when it comes to cleaning this place up, removing litter, graffiti and decals from the building quickly. Parking is easy, and there's easy access to Blanco & West Ave.

This station is right on the northwest corner of 281 and Nakoma, so it's easy to access from the highway. The gas is usually the same price as the station across the street, but you don't have to wait at the light to get to this station. I've always loved going to 7-11. It's not the Slurpees that did it for me- it's the fact that "Sevies" always sells weird stuff that you wouldn't expect from a gas station. Things like remote controlled boats, drones, fidget spinners, cans of baked beans. They generally have a markdown table here where the stuff is super cheap, but weird. Try n' save! They also sell pizza here, which is strange... I'm always reassured when I see the tamper-evident stickers on the pumps that let you know if someone has jacked with the card reader. This place is generally clean, especially seeing just how busy it gets here. There's a lot of traffic that comes through here.
