Both my husband and I have been here for Chinese medicine herbal consults as well as acupuncture. It was hands down the best acupuncture experience I've ever had. I've been going to Tripoint off and on for several years. First time was to take my daughter who was suffering immensely from TMJ and we were were trying acupuncture was a last resort. Geoff was so patient and listened well to our concerns. After several treatments over a few months, my daughter no longer suffers from TMJ!!! After this, I have gone for myself for various ailments and every time the treatment helps tremendously. If there was one thing I could say is negative is that they don't take any health insurance so I have to pay out of pocket. I have been coming to Tripoint off and on when I can since 2012 all the way from Los Angeles. Geoff's knowledge and methods have changed greatly over the years. Three weeks ago, I was in the ER from an old back injury, with agonizing pain. I couldnt take a step without muscle spasms. (This old injury was from a student who pulled a chair from under me and injured my L 4, 5, and 6. Workers comp gave me the run around and 2.5 years later, i suffered from chronic pain, the muscles under my gluts, periformis would hurt tremendously when I walk or stand for more than an hour.) When I was able to sit in a car for 20 mins, I called for appointment. Tommy was so nice to try to get me in that day and called back to give me an earlier appointment. One week ago, my pain decreased by 50%. Today, I am in a better condition than before than my old back flare up. From the acupuncture and the herbal mixture Geoff gave me, I cannot thank them enough. At the time, he was there in-house acupuncturist. After a handful of chiropractic visits for my upper back, Dr. Beau said he wasn't seeing enough progress, so he gave me a complimentary visit for acupuncture with Dr. Geoff. I was scared of needles and their associated risks, but I decided it to suck it up and use my free visit. And his pulse diagnosis, he could tell me what is hurting or bugging me before I even notice it. I've been seeing Dr. Geoff Thomas since October 2016. I was waking up at 2-3am itching alot for couple hours then it Wil not go away. Dr. Geoff started with herbal formula and Gua Sha therapy. Painless therapy, with immediate results! So a few weeks ago I tweaked my back at work and my sciatica flared up, in the following days after that my back pain became unbearable... I even went to the ER, saw my doctor and a chiropractor because the pain was that severe which sucked because I couldn't get my twerk on, but seriously it was bad. Someone suggested I try acupuncture and I saw this spot had five stars on yelp, so I decided to try it out because I was already dying of pain here and figured this can't get any worse. Now I understand results may vary depending of the diagnosis and since I had a classic sciatic nerve pinch presentation the Dr told me I would be a good candidate for this type of treatment. Long story short right after the first treatment I was able to sit up straight and walk without severe pain, it became bearable and after an acupuncture treatment with electricity I was pain free and able to bend and pick my kids up with ease. He has helped me recover from a series of different ailments: chronic neck, back and shoulder pain, irregular menstrual cycle, fatigue, lack of appetite. He is very consistent and open minded when it comes to treatment practices. He analyzes each session and adds to your profile from what's changed or improved from the previous sessions. What differentiates him from all other doctors out there (Eastern and Western practice combined) is his active diligence in learning new techniques. He travels every now and then to train at the acupuncture and holistic schools and clinics around the world (China, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, etc).
