They have enhanced my life in so many ways and I am grateful for each and every one of them. Dr.Abigail @Sleeping Bear NH is without a doubt one of my top 5 favorites. Not only is she a gifted Holistic Medicine professional and an acupuncturist, her background is in Marine Biology which adds yet another boost to her already vast amount of knowledge. She brings an entirely new and most welcome angle to any issue and when she doesn't know something, she alerts her staff who circle back. They also have a fairly intuitive portal that I was dreading to use but once I actually did it, all went very smoothly. So happy to have found her and her wonderful team!

Anna has changed my life. She makes me feel like I'm talking to a girlfriend over cocktails and…read moretells me like it is, which is what I wanted. I needed someone who was a straight shooter and acted as more of a life coach than a traditional therapist and that's exactly what she is. Her being only a few years older than me allows her to understand things like social media, texting, current events etc, plus being from the area she's familiar with the pressures of a small town. Two of the other therapists there Greg Hamilton and Theresa Stack I know from high school in Elk Rapids and they're good people and the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. They've taken the time to get to know me we have a rapport. I feel bad sometimes that I'm taking a session from someone who has had a legitimate traumatic experience, but I've learned so much about myself over the last year and it's great to not have to unload even the most minor everyday stressors onto your friends and family. Everyone should have a therapist. :)

The receptionist took down my personal information including health insurance information and then said "I've checked your health insurance" and let me know that she'd call me back either by the end of day or tomorrow to schedule a new patient appointment. I'm writing this on 6/5/2026 and nobody ever called me back. It appears that for years they've been doing the same thing and making all kinds of excuses (as you'll see in all the other reviews).
