Customer service was non existing, , never service my lav, they parked me at the very end of the ramp (with a notification of my early departure), employees just want to ride around in their golf carts, lying to their customers, and the "don't give a crap" of the front desk guy. Speaking to several other flight crews, they had similar experiences. Most of them no longer going to Fontainebleau Aviation. One comment to me was, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. Beautiful facility, but that were it begins and ends.

The other company came in $10k higher than Universal Jet. I told the other company I was waiting for a quote from another broker, and they came down $5k, then later another $3k, then finally another $2k and they were still $1,000 more than Universal Jet was from the beginning. Universal Jet gave me the best available price right from the start, while the other company tried to make as much commission on the same flight as possible. Next, when we there was an issue with the plane (the a/c went out), Christian at Universal quickly found us a replacement plane, and only a better class of plane was available, so he upgraded the plane at no additional cost to us! We were traveling to attend a funeral, and Christian knew it, so I can't say he would do the same in any situation, but he certainly took good care of us! Lastly, we have never taken a private jet before, but because we had to go quickly and didn't want to fly commercial during COVID we decided to splurge a little, and we were so glad that we did! The whole experience is amazing. You arrive just a few minutes before your flight, pull your car right up to the plane so they can load your luggage and a valet takes your car and has it waiting for you when you get back. The flight take off is so much smoother and faster than a regular commercial plane, and quieter during flight too. We brought our two dogs with us, and because you pay per plane instead of per seat, we brought a friend along with us too for no additional cost. I get why people fly private all the time if they can afford to- cause it's the best way to travel! And if we decide to splurge again, I'm definitely calling Universal Jet first next time!

Given that we couldn't delay or cancel our trip, they kinda had us "over a barrel" and we had to shell out a ton more money to make this trip happen. Would I use them again? Yes. Just be read the fine print and make sure you have a back-up plan in case you find yourself in a similar situation.

The plane also had some kind of mechanical issue (APU not working) that was never resolved. Completely unacceptable and even subpar to the commercial experience. Please stay far far away from this company if you need anything mildly reliable.

Lauderdale Executive Airport, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The waiting area was nice and clean and equipped with a coffee bar, beverages and snacks. When it was time to board our plane, our pilot Kevin took pics in front of each couple. The plane fits about 9 guests. We flew in a 2023 plane with only 200 air miles on it! Needless to say I was put at ease and the flight was extremely smooth. When we landed, we were immediately picked up in a golf cart and took a 2 min drive to the boating dock. The boat was extremely well kept and clean. It was full stocked with snacks, beverages and even white claws! There were 6 people total on the boat and our captain Bernie was so nice and guided us every step of the way throughout each excursion. We never felt rushed and we're at each excursion for a reasonable amount of time. We went to swim and feed the pigs, then to swim with nurse sharks (which the guide also got in the water with us and help us take pics with the sharks), then we went to the Pablo Escobar plane wreck to snorkel with was incredible. Then we went to lunch (which if given the choice I'd opt to eat at the Staniel Yacht Club. They recommend we do a Bahamian buffet restaurant on the water but it wasn't very good). After, they took us to iguana beach and lastly to a grotto which was the highlight of our trip. You snorkel amongst all the beautiful coral and fish! Then it was time to return to the dock for our flight. We tipped our boat captain even though they didn't ask and we flew back to Ft Lauderdale. Everything from beginning to end was seamless and took the guesswork out of planning a phenomenal trip! The amount of stuff they pack into one day made it well worth the cost! We will be back to stay in their Villas next! If you stay at their properties, they take you to do other things not included in the day trip. If you're in the fence, BOOK IT
