I was overwhelmed with all of the stuff in our laundry room area... backpacks, sports bags, shoes, coats.. the list goes on. Every time I walked in it reminded me of the chaos. I'm sure you know the feeling. I've been following Triton for a while now and finally asked if they'd be able to update the laundry room to more functional space by installing a cubbie system. That way everyone in the family had a dedicated space to put their stuff. Jake came over and talked through some options, showed me colors and then quickly turned around an estimate and design plan. I had a few small tweaks and he also turned that around real quick. Scheduling was just a few weeks out which is impressive considering some of the other quotes I had received were 3-4 months out for install. The day of install, they arrived on time and had it totally done in one day. It's SO functional and my kiddos love their cubbies. I do too because it looks great and on my quest to give everything it's own place... i'm one step closer! I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call!!! I would NOT recommend Triton Cabinets. I confirmed with the dispatcher ahead of time that masks would be worn but when John showed up with no mask on, and I asked him to put one on, he gave attitude. My mother is on Chemo, and this is the only place she goes outside of her own home. We need to keep it as safe as possible for her. We are her primary caregivers. Before even entering the home John asked if I'd be making him and his team wear masks while working. When I replied yes and relayed that I'd confirmed this ahead of time with the dispatcher he said, "I don't know if I can commit to that." So at that, we parted ways and he immediately ripped his mask off as if it was such an inconvenience to wear in our brief interaction. Needless to say, I'll find someone who actually cares for safety rather than someone who just posts it on their website. I am happy he never stepped foot in our home. read more

If there was option for ten stars I would give it for Triton Cabinets! First of all, I am a construction estimator by trade so I know what things should cost. I've been an estimator for over 25 years. I knew for the quality and quantity of cabinets I needed, my "magic number" for an estimate was around $1,500.00. Also, I had existing cabinets that are about nine years old that I needed to match- I wasn't expecting that- Close enough was fine. I called two companies for estimates, one of them Triton. The first company that came out and was very honest that they could not match the appearance of may existing but gave me a quote for $1,400- For not matching, less quality. I called Triton and they came out quickly- John, the owner, has decades of experience and it showed. His knowledge of product availability and quality of construction was impressive. He told me he had to search a bit to match my cabinet material and he didn't promise anything. He did say he could get a close match through. He later called to say he found just the right amount of material to perfectly match my existing. They had to wait for the materials to be delivered to them so my install took about a week to schedule. No big deal. John provided an estimate under what I expected and was hired on the spot. Installation: Two guys show up at the house 15 minutes early to start working which was perfect as it was going to be a hot one that day. The lead worker explained everything in detail then looked at my existing cabinets- He told me he would fix my warped shelves (six total) at no extra charge and said the installation would take about two hours. 1.5 hours later he comes to the door to say he is finished. I follow him to the garage and just about cried with happiness. When I say the new cabinets are a perfect match- I mean it looks like all of my cabinets were installed on the same day. I am a perfectionist and very critical of other people's work. I have not one negative comment about Triton Cabinets, their cost, their installation. Everything about this company is the BEST. The best with the exact cost you would expect for high quality custom garage cabinetry. A side note: Before hiring Triton Cabinets, I played with the idea of buying metal cabinets from Sam's Club at $700/ea (x3= $2,100)- I am SO glad I didn't do that- Plus I saved myself $700 and got custom cabinets- I will post a before and after for you read more

We came across Triton Garage & Closets in a home flyer that we received in the mail. Now i'm not sure if your like me but I always feel that those flyers are all overpriced, or that these companies are huge and may not have a personal touch. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT, I needed a lot of ketchup to swallow down my words on this one. When I called to set-up the estimate I spoke to the owner John. Who by the way is a really wonderful guy. He meet me bright and early for an estimate at our home. I explained what we where looking for, and in turned he offered his opinion on how to make it work and get this he even showed me options on how we could save some money !!! Now that my friends is service!!. As soon as the drawing and estimate was received we called and had some questions of some changes. That is when I spoke to Trish, who happens to be just as wonderful as John (by the way turns out she's Johns wife) Trish took down all of our changes and said that i would get a new estimate from John at the end of the day, and we did. So we decided to move forward, and we couldn't be more happier. Now Im not so good at remembering names but the guy who came out to do the work was on time, and got right to the job. I was so impressed that it was just one guy to do the job but he did it. When it was all done he asked me to take a look and make sure I was happy with the work. YES!! we are happy with the work. I have to say when you think about investing in grange cabinets you think why bother, what I say to that is, if you spend a lot of time in your garage and you have clutter everywhere, or store stuff for your home then why not make the investment that is going to make things easier to manage every day. I called John out to give me an estimate on replacing some very old handyman-built garage cabinets. We discussed alternatives and John was helpful in coming up with a plan that gave me more storage in the same space. He looked at my garage like it was his own. He also talked me out of a few ideas that I had that would have cost more. I like an honest guy. Since I was also doing my garage floor Triton coordinated the schedule so the cabinets would go in one day and the floor the next. Triton's installer showed up on time and discussed everything with me before he started. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. But, there was a problem. One of the cabinets was too wide and if we left it that way my existing workbench wouldn't have fit into the remaining space. The installer said they could cut it back a foot. After talking to Triton on the phone they agreed to send out the modified that day and the installer could finish up. I was impressed with how Triton stepped-up to the plate in resolving this problem. Granted, it would have been better if we never had the problem in the first place but things happen and you learn a lot about a company based on how they resolve the problem. The cabinets look great but, more importantly, they're very strong and can hold a lot of stuff. Very happy with Triton. read more

I found this company on Craigslist of all places. I was searching for, you guessed it, 'cabinets.' I was looking for someone's old kitchen cabinets or some sort of storage solution and Triton Cabinets came up in the search. I called and set an appointment for Jodi to measure my garage. We set up a time, she was at my house exactly when she said she was going to be. She helped me design the space, immediatly gave me a price, and then she called the office to schedule an install date a week away. The office called me the day before to confirm the install and gave me a two hour window. The guys showed up within the window and were done within a couple of hours. They were polite, courteous, neat, and did an excellent job. They left the "job site" i.e.: "my garage" cleaner than how they found it. I gave them a check when they were done and received an email from the office the next day asking to provide feedback on my experience. As someone who is also in the service industry I'd say that the process could not have gone better. The product is also good, too. I wouldn't put these cabinets in my kitchen, as it is made out of MDF or laminated particle board, but for simple garage storage it's more than acceptable. The faces have a hard melamine finish that would be hard to damage and the hinges are hidden so you don't see them when the doors are shut. I paid a few dollars more for the "backing" so you didn't see the painted drywall in the back of the cabinets when you open the doors. There were several finishes and colours to choose from. The guys also installed a black toe kick and caulked the gap in between the toe kick and the floor so if I hose out the garage no water gets under the cabinet. All in all this earned 5 stars for the product and the people behind their product. Thanks for a great experience. And thank you John D. for the great review as well. The cabinets came in wrong (which we had in writing) John screamed at me and said he would need to do over (sorry but not my fault). John had to come out multiple times as he was extremely forgetful and not organized in the least bit. On install day they didn't show up at all! Our job was moved about several times due to his disorganization. On our final discussion he cursed profanities non stop. Very disappointed in this Triton Cabinets. I had my cabinets installed and a few months later I had a couple of the hinges break, I called and John told me that they had purchased some defective hinges and he would send someone out to fix..................all good. I had another hinge break the other day and I called John and at first he wanted to charge me for the hinge and for a service call. Why should I have to pay for a defective hinge. After a few weeks I text him back and he told me it would be very difficult to get someone out there to fix and told me to go on line and purchase it..........well when i wanted a quote on having cabinets installed he was pretty quick to do that!. I can believe Triton Cabinets doesn't stand behind their work..............terrible. Granted its been a couple of years but if its a defective part then he should have replaced them all the first time around......right. So the last text I received from John was "I changed my mind and don't want to fix it at all, go online and order the part and do it myself" I responded back with go figure....John's last response was " please don't bother me anymore" Apparently once Triton Cabinets finishes a job they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!
