She dealt with us…read morecompassionately, and brought her amazing vendors to the process to help us get the house prepped and ready for sale. Specifically, her staging crew made the house look amazing and on-point for selling; her handyman performed repairs to the house quickly, efficiently and at a fair price, and last but not least, one of her team members took charge and managed helping us to sell the majority of the items left in our mom's home on Facebook, managing the entire process "sale-posting to pick up". As if that wasn't enough, she also staged and managed a yard sale to help move out the smaller items, and then took care of donating the balance of the items! Her rate was more than fair, and we were able to rest easy knowing that it was being taken care of. All of these vendors and Lindsey were critical in the process as my brother and I both live out of state. The sale also involved a trust, and some un-anticipated structural issues. Lindsey understood what needed to be done, was the face of negotiations with the vendors, and ensured that the work was completed as expected. She understood the selling process inside of a trust, and helped to ensure that all of the right pieces were in place. Lindsey and her team were by our sides throughout the entire process. It was a pleasure working with this team, and I would recommend them to others!

But what was amazing was how Ken managed the process AFTER the contract for the house purchases was signed. He didn't simply as an agent - he acted as our advocate. Fast forward 7 years to 2020, I was looking for a new home and the only person I would call....Ken, of course. He found a great house for my needs (sent me 30 others and we viewed about 8 in person), but he had found a perfect place that really "checked all the boxes. His guidance, preparation and professional attitude and knowledge were even sharper than before. 2021, time to sell the first house I had bought with him....who do you call....Ken, again....of course. Not only did she expertly…read morenegotiate and secure a contract that we were very happy with on our dream home, but she also took a very proactive role in helping us to clear some challenging obstacles related to the sale of our home in a different state even though she wasn't handling that transaction. Every single time I felt the stress bubbling up, one phone call to Leah would calm my nerves and remind me that there was nothing to worry about because we were in the best possible hands. From our first showing to closing day and beyond, it was obvious that in addition to her extensive expertise, Leah is genuinely passionate about helping her clients enjoy a smooth and successful home-buying experience. I love how communicative and efficient Leah is. I never had to wonder what was going on because she always kept us in the loop and gave excellent advice throughout the whole process. She has a strong network of reliable contacts for anything you might need from inspectors to movers and everything in between. When logistical issues prevented us from physically making it to the closing on time, Leah jumped in and served as our surrogate by doing a video final walk-through for us and collecting the keys. She then met us at the house with a sweet arrangement of thoughtful gifts and a few essentials that came in very handy after a long day of traveling. Buying a home anywhere is a very stressful process. Buying a home hundreds of miles away from your hometown while trying to sell your current home and juggling the endless logistical challenges of a cross-state move makes regular home-buying stress seem like child's play. The most valuable lesson I learned in this whole process is that you should choose your realtor as carefully as you choose your future home because that one choice can play a huge role in whether your dream home becomes a reality or devolves into more of a nightmare. As I write this review sitting comfortably in my beautiful new home that likely would have slipped through my fingers had I chosen any other agent, I can assure you that Leah Akiki is the dream maker you need in your corner. There is no better real estate professional and nobody else I would ever consider using for my future real estate needs.

During a buying experience, Janice's agent delivered my terms and perspective to the selling agent with intelligence and she found an inconsistency that was extremely vital to us getting the best deal on the property. As a selling representative, I sold a condo in a tough market in 3 days for asking when there were many properties in the same building on sale for months. I never had to worry about a thing. It was a done, sign and go interaction and we received top dollar. I recommend Janice to everyone. She is a superstar. She can answer questions that are extremely nuanced and she cares about every client. It's a surreal gift. They represent professionalism, knowledge and reliability and you will be happy with your experience.

To set the table... this property lines Canton Road and the cut through to get to the other side of the road is easier to go through and it's absolutely a vacant field with no housing. Yes, I can walk around, but you cats get it. It didn't remotely have to be what it became. He confronted me today and walked up with an attitude that oozes of confrontation. I sensed this and as I walked toward him I extended my hand to shake and say...."hey man, how's it going?" He shook my hand and then told me this was private property and he "owned the property." I understood and told him I just walk through this huge vacant (for at least 8 years) property with my service dog maybe once a week when I visit my elderly mom in the neighborhood behind the property and then I continue on. He then said...."I am the realtor of the property." I then said....."so you are the realtor and not the owner, so you just lied to me." The next words out of his mouth were..."get the fuck off the property or I will shoot you and your dog!" As you can imagine I didn't let that go and had a few choice words for him. He then threatened me again and then his son gets out of the car. Well as soon as I identified myself as Ranger, dude softened a little. His son then intelligently got back in the car. He threatened to call the cops on me and I told him to go ahead, but he didn't because he knew he *ucked up, and *ucked with the wrong guy. Here is a wonderful picture of him confronting and wanting to be a bully. This is your neighborhood real estate agent. You can believe this post and this picture with his name will be everywhere on social media and to his clients. Phy-Ops. NEVER THREATEN TO SHOOT ANYONE UNLESS YOU ARE GOING DO IT.

Candace was one of the ones who responded. She has a lot of great reviews, and I do not mean to detract from that. I wish her the best, but at the same time, I thought that, in all fairness, I need to tell of my experience. My own take is that she was usually a step slower than others to respond. And while everyone else went to look at the condo before getting back to me, she didn't. Both of these may be on account of the fact that she holds down a different day job. Perhaps she has an assistant or two at her disposal, but I'm skeptical that she would be able to provide the attention that I would have needed. Others who had a good experience with her - good for you. I decided to go a different way.
