You get your own lock, keys and code to gain access to the bay door. Also, the elevator and multiple carts they have ready for you are very helpful. Thank you for the help Rich! Be aware that the hours are 9:30am-6:00pm Mon-Fri, but storage remains open until 7pm (customer service leaves at 6pm). It's worked for us, but I just wanted you to be aware.

The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. UPDATE: Tried to update before. They did get a few more carts out now…read more This is a good storage facility except for the fact that there is only one cart to move stuff from your vehicle to your unit! If someone is there before you, and you want other carts, you have to go during office hours and leave your license to get a cart. (This is due to the fact of some moronic customers who either stole the carts for themselves or left them out in the snow to be ruined.) Although it is understandable that the company is reluctant to buy new carts because of that, it's extremely burdensome, difficult, and annoying to have to either drag or carry your things one by one, or to have to wait. Waiting is futile when confronted by 2 U hauls trying to unload as you drive in. And if you are the unfortunate second person with the truck to unload, you're out of luck! I asked when the company might get more carts, (as I was told may happen by one worker on signing in to the place), I was informed that the Public Storage company has decided not to buy any more for the after hours lobby. A word if warning to potential renters.
