The drinks and food are pretty good and made fast here when placing pickup orders on mobile. I like the detox green smoothie with protein added a lot. However, I tried to work in this "cafe" recently and found it to be a very lackluster experience. Unfortunately, it's not set up like a 'cafe' that you would typically hang out in. My major issue is the music is WAYYYY too loud. Even with noise canceling head phones on I could still hear it clearly, and it's pretty disruptive especially if you are trying to do meetings. I was a regular who ordered at least once per week from the one Loudoun store . After today , I will never order anything from them . We ordered like we always do on the app . When we received our smoothie , the smoothie had Peanut butter in it and we always ask for no peanut butter , so my wife went back in to correct it . They refused , so I went in and they argued that they couldn't change it because we ordered wrong . They then called someone who said I had to pay half for a new one . I said I come in here all the time . They finally gave me one . I then got home and reviewed my order and we did order corrected so I went back in and the and showed them and they said I was lying that we ordered wrong . My favorite location not because it's the closest one to home but they know my preferences and they do not make mistakes. Vilma the Manager has a great team and are always polite and courteous to customers , taking the time to explain the menu and choices. Strong recommend. read more

She really seemed like she could care less that I was a paying customer. The drink was somewhat decent, didn't have a lot of flavor to it. This place is tucked away in a corner within one loudoun and is a welcome change to the other wise highly priced Food joints and ice cream places. The place is relatively clean and All the workers wear masks. They are also very friendly and flexible and will make the smoothies without dairy and accommodate other requests. I usually order lunch from here since I work in One Loudoun. I always order a Chia Banana Boost with strawberries because i'm not a fan of peanut butter. This last time someone made it with peanut butter so i went back in to ask them to remake it and the woman refused. The woman said she had made it correctly and she refused to make me a new one. I ordered another once same way and that one was made correct and it was obvious. I went to the online app to request a refund for the first smoothie and I got no response. This was a few weeks ago. I wrote a good review for this Tropical Smoothie location a few years ago. Not sure if the management changed (it probably did, since it's been 5+ years), but the service was not good at all..... I ordered online for "Curbside Pick Up" the other day, and it asked for my car model, type, color when I submitted the order online. However, when I arrived and gave the store a call to indicate I arrived, the girl/woman talking to me was like "I don't see your car" repeatedly, even though I was parked in the designated "Curbside Pick-Up" parallel parking spaces, right outside the store. She continued to say she couldn't see my car, when she should have stepped outside or asked another worker to check. I LITERALLY was parked next to a huge propped up sign that said "Curbside Pickup Here".... She still insisted over the phone that she "Didn't see my car". Finally she (or someone else) came out with my smoothie and food, but the service was just so bad. This place definitely went downhill. Edit: I noticed the other reviews said the management changed. My boyfriend and I tried the Sunrise Sunset smoothie and we loved it! Very refreshing for a hot day. [ COVID-19 Management Review ] T[he cafe could have done better to implement better social distancing practices in its operations and in their own customers. A crowd of people were waiting inside for their orders because if you stood outside and waited, you won't be able to hear your order being called. Inside, the place is small and you don't really know where to stand comfortably away from others. A man walked in without a mask on, and it made my partner and I super uncomfortable. Just a typical tropical smootie place. The only thing different which I appreciated was one the workers, who would hand deliver the smooties to the customers. Maybe because this tropical smootie was not as busy during the time i came, it was really sweet for him to hand deliver the drinks to your table. Other tropical smooties will just call your name and just drop your drink at the side of the counter. But overall great location, great workers, and great store. read more

I HAD A FREAKING ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION BECAUSE OF THEM!!! I told the lady at the counter when I ordered my smoothie that I was allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. the girl said "oh yeah we'll sanitize the blender." They then call out my order and gave me what I assumed was my smoothie. I took a sip and instantly knew I had just drank a peanut smoothie. From that point on I started to feel symptoms and had to give myself an epipen injection. I ended up wasting $14 on a smoothie that sent me to the hospital and they also messed up my food order. I never spoke to a manager or any of the employee despite having the ambulance come in front of their store. Of course, this location is on point like the others I've been too. This one in particular is a little smaller than the other locations I've seen. But that doesn't matter because I huge line came right after I placed my order. The staff is super upbeat, friendly, and efficient. They all are so nice and welcoming! Anyways, I ordered 2 Avocolada smoothies for my family. They were ready in no time! And the final test was the taste. All I have to say is yummmsss! If the kid can't speak English at all maybe not have them work the front interacting with customers.
