Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a tropical smoothie cafe. Ordered online and requested curbside pick up. Once i got to this location, i had to call three times before anyone would answer the phone. When i informed them that i was here for my curbside pick up, the girl was extremely rude and said "no, you need to come in and pick up your order". I wish i could have gotten their names but this Was on May 3rd 2020 around 315 pm. The only guy that was working was really nice but the two girls were extremely rude. Not only to customers but to him as well. They were not helpful at all and they shouldn't be working in customer service If they are going to treat customers that way. I ordered a smoothie and a pesto chicken flatbread. I will say that after i are the flatbread, i got sick to my stomach. My stomach hurt the rest of the day. I do not recommend this location, there are plenty of other locations to go too if you are looking for a good smoothie. read more

I'm a big fan of the chicken pesto flatbreads and their salads. You can get a tasty and healthy bite to eat here. I like a wide array of their smoothies, depending on what my taste buds are tugging for. EVeryone has their preferences of course. My go-to smoothies are: 1. Totally Green 2. Tropic-colada (My summer fave heavy in coconut flavor) 3. Caribbean C-bust (my go-to when under-the-weather) 4. Acai Berry Boost (just one of those "feel-good" smoothies) This particular location is very close to me, so that is a plus. It's a cozy location, although I usually get my items to go. Worst ever! I placed an order and 2 hours later did not receive. The support number I called told me to call the location. When I called the representative was extremely argumentative and said that the order was delivered when it was not. She claimed that they took pictures of my residence which I don't understand why they would do that. So here I am without my food and they refused to refund my money. Completely ridiculous. Been hearing people complain about there orders at least almost every time I go. Gave me a completely different meal or they forget to give me something I bought. I just stopped in this evening for a smoothie and salad, and realized I couldn't go to my usual Tropical Smoothie in Sterling! So I went off for a quick drive to Loudoun One, and went to their brand new location. What a lucky choice for me! Getting a smoothie isn't always the most exciting thing, but my smoothie was fantastic. Haven't gotten to the salad yet but it smells amazing. The highlight was getting to talk to the owner (?) and his daughter. What a nice guy! He filled me in on some of the up and coming locations, and told me about the delivery service they have as well. I'm a big fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe's but not this place. Twice I've gotten shredded plastic bags in my Detox Island Green. The first time it was so obvious that when I returned it, the staff already knew I would be coming back. The 2nd time, the plastic bags were very finely ground up. I put the smoothie thru a strainer and sure enough, plastic bags (again). The first time I gave them a pass as it was just an honest mistake. The 2nd time, they are either doing something wrong or they have an employee that is intentionally doing it. I have not had this issue at any other Tropical Smoothie locations. read more

When I looked up this location's hours online last night, it is listed as being open until 10PM. I arrived a few minutes before 9PM, an hour before the listed closing time, and was horribly disappointed. Doors locked, lights out, person inside cleaning up and obviously not going to take a customer. When running a business, you generally want to be sure that you remain open during your listed business hours. read more

I work nearby as an assistant and I will occasionally pick up lunch for my boss. I usually call here when I'm leaving and order over the phone, Vilma is so energetic & sweet on the phone. Today I was there 5 minutes later and it was ready! There is also another gentleman there who is always working hard and saying hi to everyone. I usually like to go tropical Smoothie Cafe after practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But recently I went on a Monday around 1:30 pm and had a terrible experience. I went inside and ordered my food only to find myself and my friend waiting for our food for about 35 minutes. My friend (Ava) had to go up to them and ask about the food. She realized that the lady working had completely forgot about our food. And that's when we realized that many of the people that were behind us in line had already gotten their food. Once we told them they said that it would be ready in about 2 minutes but we then ended up waiting there for about another 10 minutes. I love tropical smoothie and their food but after this experience i don't know if I want to go back. read more

Pretty disappointed. I have been a regular @ "Trop Smooth" as I call it for many many years and I've been a regular at this location since it was opened. Today it was pretty busy, but my smoothie tasted like absolutely nothing and my wraps' chicken tasted very odd and off. i usually love tropical smoothie! i usually go post practice on tuesdays and thursdays and that crew is great! the other days the workers there are actually AWFUL and have terrible hospitality. they also never get the online orders right which leads me to my next complaint. i've recently had an issue with them incorrectly labeling things leading to me almost having an allergic reaction because i was allergic to the sauce in a sandwich! i love ur smoothies and ur place but the customer service needs a little work. This is my favorite of all the Tropical Smoothie locations I've been too. I think we met the manager the last few times we were there and he's a very friendly guy. All the staff is actually really great and even when they're swamped they still get the smoothies out in a reasonable amount of time and they do it with a smile. read more

I frequent this place a lot because of the excellent customer service and the food is very good too! The buffalo chicken wrap is excellent and the Mongolian steak noodle bowl is very good too. Def has a kick! The noodle bowl was quite small, I wish it was a lot bigger since it comes to $7.20 after tax. Kinda pricey in my mind. The smoothies are excellent. But again pricey. The manager PK is super friendly and has some of the best customer service EVER! He's excellent! Love the food and smoothies, I just wish it all wasn't so pricey. Used to be great, but the current staff is so wildly incompetent. Good luck getting anything you ordered correctly. I went in today for a pretty simply order (smoothie and wrap). The wrap wasn't cut and fell apart when I opened it. I asked if they could remake it, since it was a wrap that wasn't wrapped. The cashier grabbed his manager and she laughed in my face. She actually smirked and rolled her eyes. I get that working in One Loudoun can be hectic and tough, but I was nothing but polite and didn't mind waiting. Definitely won't be back. Go to Robeks in Cascades instead. Way friendlier staff. read more

Me and my boyfriend are regulars and the manager knows his name and usual order. It's nice to have a personalized experience. Also- the smoothies are great and you get a lot for just 5 dollars. At Robeks for that size I would pay almost 8. I haven't tasted a lot of the food, but the Thai chicken wrap is really good. Have gone to this place every Sunday for the last couple of month's with my daughter and the food and service is awesome. Tried the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap last time with a smoothie and it was delicious. I plan on trying that a couple more times before I switch over to the sandwiches. I have been to other Tropical Smoothies but the food at this particular location tastes very fresh. The owner mentioned that he personally shops for the fruit, which you can tell by the rich flavor of the smoothies. The owner and the staff are very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure your happy on every visit. read more

This place is amazing. I come here almost every day on my break and grab a smoothie. The size of the smoothie that you get is perfect for the price and is a lot cheaper than other places that I have been to in the past. Also, the people who work there always greet me with a smile and really make me feel welcome. You will also see a lot of workers come in on their breaks and makes this place a perfect hangout spot for everyone, and their variety of smoothies ensures that nothing gets boring. I haven't tried any of the food that they serve yet and therefor can't give it 5 stars, but I cannot wait to try it. With the summer coming on this is should be a guaranteed stop for everyone. This place is awesome. The moment I walked in I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm! So refreshing. The staff was happy to answer any questions I had about the menu, from which I ordered a smoothie and the hummus veggie wrap. The wrap blew away my expectations! For a smoothie place, or any restaurant at all, it was outstanding. The smoothie was equally as outstanding, of course. Stopped in for lunch today for the first time. I got a Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich with kale & apple slaw on the side and a Detox Island Green smoothie. Everything was really good and the workers were very friendly. I ended up just drinking the smoothie and eating half of my food for lunch and the other half for dinner. The portions are too tiny now, they had a good service and reasonable prices for the portions they served. Now the menu changed up, there are new unfriendly employees (who by thw way messed up my order), and SMALLER portion. I used to order a chicken wrap and end up super happy now the wraps are half of what they used to be. Half a wrap and still the same price.. Dislike..
