First, the mission of meaningfully employing folks with disabilities is reason alone for me to love it here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and offered samples and information about the menu. The whole shop smells amazing like fresh waffle cones, and there is cute pink and rainbow decor and plenty of seating. I'm dairy free so I got mango, one of two DF options. My husband got Cookie Monster- blue with Oreos and chocolate chip cookies! And my mother in law got strawberry. The ice cream is made there and we thought it was really yummy! There is also outdoor seating. It would be nice to have a trash can outside, but in this season it would probably attract bees so it was no big deal to run the trash inside. The peanut butter? More like peanut water. The chia seeds? Scattered like confetti at a party I wasn't invited to. The taste didn't help either. Parts of the bowl were still frozen solid, including chunks of açaí and fruit, making it feel more like I was eating a smoothie gone wrong.
