The "manager" Robert was extremely rude and unprofessional. The food was made after I came in for my pickup order....the ticket for my order had not even been printed when I arrived. I got my order 15 min after it was supposed to be ready, and everything had been made incorrectly. They were out of chip sides, and the manager told me I would need to pay to get another side. I had a friend that works here and recently told me that they don't clean their smoothie machines/blenders. She said they would have mold in it and would BLEND it with their drinks cause they were not going to clean them like they are supposed to. Also, rude and disrespectful employees that sometimes sit around lazy. looking on their phones. Best meal I've had on vacation yet. Turkey guacamole wrap was served warm and lightly toasted. Delicious carved turkey breast, fresh veggies, and served with a banana. This place is nice and bright and conveniently located in a strip mall with ample parking and easy access to lots of places. The WI-FI is good, but no plugs so it's good for a short lunch break but not a good working place. I may be back since it's good until the battery dies. I've never had a problem with customer service here. The smoothies are great! I prefer the indulgent Chocolate Chiller, my husband usually does the Health Nut, but is really enjoying the new Avocolada smoothie (don't let the color turn you off!). I love that the sandwiches and flat breads are always fresh tasting. These clearly haven't been sitting for a while waiting to be ordered. Yes, it's a little pricey for "fast food" but it doesn't taste like fast food. If you want cheap garbage, go across the street and order from the dollar menu. read more

I am a fan of Tropical Smoothie. I used to work for TS for a while. I have nothing against any person at this location, the people are fine, the service is what anyone would expect. The food is good. My main reason for the 2 stars is that, the smoothies are never consistent, and even after I had them re-made the other day, they still tasted bizarre. If TS is your go-to place you'll know the difference. I don't know if the owner is ordering different ingredients or what, but compared to Merrit Island and the one across from EFSC, this location's smoothies are just not right. I had gotten a few bad tasting smoothies and thought it was a one time kind of thing, but for the past few months they have consistently tasted WEIRD. I usually get a Health Nut or PB Cup, I don't know if it's they whey or what...but if you go to another TS and get the higher-tier smoothies you'll know the difference. read more

We ordered online. Arrived at the estimated finish time. We sat and waited for our smoothies to be made for about 10 more minutes. Our food was made much earlier tjan our smoothies and then was tossed onto the online order tray by a female employee wearing a camouflage jacket with the words "bucked up" written on the back. We were never greeted or aknowledged until our smoothies were ready. Upon receipt of the order we still didn't receive any human interaction. First off, I LOVE this franchise and make it a regular stop throughout the Nation. BUT WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION... The day before Thanksgivng my young son purchased a gift card for a bday party, As we got to the parking lot we noticed the receipt was for $20 but the card had $15 handwritten all over it with a black sharpie. When I went back in to point out what I thought was an oversight, the 3 employees were laughing in the back room until they saw me. The employee came out and told me she was aware she shorted the card... Then she returned to the backroom and AMBER came out. What an incredibly rude girl. She acknowledged that they all knew the card was short, she pulled the card from my hand with out asking for it. Evidently reloaded the correct amount. Scribbled all over the gift card with a black sharpie and wrote the correct amount then literally tossed it back at me onto the counter with a "There, its right now" I asked if I could get a new card as it was a gift and now looked ridiculous with black scribbling all over it, she said no that was only one. (Not true as I saw 4 others when initially purchased) I admitted that I was confused as to why they didn't try to let us know when they knew they had made a mistake since we only got to the parking lot before we came back in, Amber's response "WHATEVER" Okay I was shocked....so I asked if I could have the name of the employee who issued the card, she said rather condescendingly "NO, Im not telling you." Incredulous I said "That is not very professional behavior" and she responded loudly again with "WHAT- EV- ER" and she returned to her backroom huddle with a female and male employee. When I got home I called Viera to ask if they were owned by the same person. LUCKY THEY ARE NOT! THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL AT THE VIERA STORE. Garbage! Seriously these ppl drive me nuts. I order a triple berry oat (my usual) but although it's the same recipe at every tropical smoothie, it's usually not sweet enough at this one. I just said make sure it's sweet enough. The older lady at the counter of course charges me for extra Splenda. Just annoyed bc it's not about the extra few cents it is for extra Splenda but rather that they don't follow the same recipe everybody else does just to charge you extra for freaking Splenda. Which is also found for free on there counter next to the condiments. Get it together people! read more
