Never thought of Tropical Smoothie Cafe for breakfast but I tried it today. Not great. Great flavor and a fine attempt but my clue should have been the $5.89 wrap. It's far too small. It needs one more egg and slightly larger wrap ... and a strong cup of coffee to complement it! Great place but only 3 stars for breakfast. read more

Came in this morning and shout out to Aaron for making the best smoothie and breakfast wrap I've ever had. I typically don't like order egg wraps from places bc they don't have flavor or the eggs have a weird texture but LORD this was so good. Outside was crispy, food was piping hot. I added chipotle mayo and salsa to it and it was perfect. Also got the detox island green smoothie and it was absolutely incredible. Service was just as great as the food and I will absolutely make it a point to come here more often. read more

Tropical smoothie was so yummy! This location off of Woodward and 12 Mile Rd was very easy parking lot attached. The food was tasty service was quick and easy overall satisfied will definitely be back. read more

This is a good place to get smoothies. The owner is often there, he's super nice as are all of the employees that work there that's waited on my husband. My husband always gets a chia banana boost with peanut butter, it's always good and consistently so every time he goes. He's only had yummy smoothies here so far. Their food items also look good too. read more

I actually just walked in and out of this location within minutes of writing this review. It's a Sunday, around 2p and they have 3 employees (at least) working. I walked in, stood behind the person in front of me who hadn't ordered yet, each employee looking at me, and not one of them said hello. The gentleman ordered. One employee went to start his order and the other two just stood there. No hello, no asking if I had any questions, nothing. So we walked out and are going elsewhere. This was my first Tropical Smoothie experience and I'm not that impressed. Their menu looked decent for smoothies. SMALL HARD GLASS BALLS IN MY SMOOTHIE!!! I am completely outdone. First every time I come to this location the smoothies never taste like other locations, but I was at ups and thought why not grab a smoothie. To get home and bite down on one of these HARD BALLS I couldnt believe it. I'm outraged as this could have been way worse, luckily my teeth are okay! I came in during the last hour of operation and they told me the kitchen was closed and I could only get a smoothie.... no where does it say that you cannot order food after 9pm. They were also very cold with me while I was in there. I understand they want to leave, but that is not on the customers and we should be able to order while the restaurant is still open. read more
