Thoroughly disappointed. I drove over here after my late lunch meal wanting some refreshments. I wanted to get some juices and possibly a smoothie. I've been wanting to come here for a little while. They're supposed to be open until 5 PM today. It's a Saturday. Arrived and the door is closed and they have a sign on their door that it's closed too. Were they randomly closed all day or did they decide to leave a little earlier today? Argh. What a bummer. I was in need of some healthy refreshments too. I've been here many times and I love it. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean! The shakes are delicious and the teas are refreshing. They offer a wide variety of shakes and teas, some of which are vegan which I really appreciate. Each month they have a tea and a shake special which is super fun to try each month! Additionally, they have specials during the week that they rotate too. I always end up getting the combo of both the shake and tea, so I can sip the tea for after I have my shake. Perfect for when I am on the go for school and work, keeping me full and giving me the extra energy that I need. They get your order ready fast as well. To me, it is worth the money. Warning - these "nutrition" "juice bars" that are popping up all over are a front for Herbalife (a predatory MLM)!!! They don't have fresh anything. It's all syrups and powders, and tastes as such at a high price. They also do not provide ANY ingredient information even if asked, this place is not safe for anyone with food allergies. Ferndale Nutrition is a great family owned nutrition club that offers energizing teas and delicious protein shakes.

This place is ok. Not fantastic. I went in on an impulse, just to check it out. I suppose my first clue should have been the fact that no prices are listed. More about that later. The place consists of dozens of jars of protein powders, blenders, and various flavors of "tea" in colors not normally found with real tea. I saw no signs of fresh fruits or vegetables, which I thought was weird for a place that touts itself as a juice bar. But I digress. The young'un behind the counter gives me the pitch. You get two beverages. Some sort of tea that's supposed to speed up your metabolism, and a protein shake. Combined, there are 25 gms of protein or so, and under 250 calories. Ok, cool. I love an adventure. I'm in. There are dozens of flavors, many achieved by mixing the flavors together. I left my decision entirely up to the young'un. No pressure, right? He chose a "brownie batter" shake and a combination of three flavors to make the "tea." The brownie batter protein shake was fairly tasty for a protein shake that consisted entirely of powder, water, and ice. We could have entirely skipped the faux chocolate chips sprinkled over the top. Maybe it was carob. Maybe it was some sort of protein chips. Dunno. The tea was ok. Sweet, fruity, not remotely tea. But ok. I was not expecting the sticker shock. One protein shake. One "tea." No fresh anything involved in either. Price? 15 bucks. I paid it, as I ordered it, but I can't say I'll be a frequent flyer for that kinda money. read more

Even during the COVID-19 they are open and serving nutritional shakes and mega teas. You can still walk in and order and they are also offering curbside pick up. You call inside to order let them know when you should arrive and the color and kind of car your driving. read more

Such an amazing place offering healthy options to those "I need something sweet" cravings. You can literally drink three of their shakes a day and still be well below the recommended 1200 calories per day intake! There's something else, though, that makes this place deserving of everyone of my 5-star rating review. The people who run it! I lost my debit card in transit to their store. I was naturally a little freaked out, and was about to withdraw my order when the guy behind the counter, I think his name is Mike, said "don't worry about it." He comped my drink without batting an eye. You know that feeling you get when people are being genuine. Yeah...that's the feeling I got. Such an amazing place run by amazing people. Any place that sells "fat burning" or "metabolism boosting" products are flat out lying to their customers. A shake made of chemicals and artificial additives will not melt the fat off of you like they advertise. Asked the worker how the shakes burn fat and she said she honestly did not know. Besides the fact that these health claims are very dangerous, the shake and tea both taste gross. The shake was watery and had a very artificial taste to it. The tea had some weird solute at the bottom and left a bad taste in my mouth. Any "healthy" shake and tea shop that doesn't put any real foods into their so called healthy shakes are best avoided. A good rule of thumb is to avoid any place that's named "(insert city) nutrition" as they are just selling you Herbalife powders full of fake ingredients that will not improve your health as they claim they will. read more

i walked in to order and had to take a call so i went back out to my car as to not be rude. 10 minutes later came back inside, still on the call but on hold. handed in my order slip, sat to wait. one employee didn't realize i was there and came from the back, "is that lady STILL in her car?!" nope, i was waiting for my order. which i received half of. filled out the slip for a tea and a shake. payed $12 for a shake. the employees were nice enough, it was just an overall not so great experience. just go to tropical smoothie cafe. read more

If you go on the website or their Instagram page, it is very obvious that Ferndale Nutrition serves iced tea and healthy protein shakes... not fresh squeezed juice. Location is listed as a juice bar and smoothie which would imply a high sugar drink. The shakes they make here are not that at all. They are a delicious low calorie/low sugar shake with an awesome amount of choices. They taste so good you think you're cheating. And the staff is amazing. They are attentive and sweet. read more
