Each summer when we head to Lilo's for the first time my husband makes the same bad joke: "I'll take a medium shaved ice...plain." Terrible, I know, but it's a tradition now. The shack is in a parking lot, so plenty of parking. And the line moves pretty quickly. Tables and chairs can be rather sticky, but many of the satisfied customers are little ones. Give a kid a cup full of sugar and that's what you get. Sticky surfaces with a side of summer joy. Wouldn't want it any other way.
