Zero follow-up from "the manager" co-owner Sabrina, no apology no reschedule. I've had Maria Nava Guizar cut my hair 3 times now. The cuts have been beautiful and have grown out really nicely. I have short hair and decided to try to grow it a bit longer but was unable to previously because the cuts didn't grow out well. Her cuts are so well done that I've now been inspired to try to grow the front longer. I needed to find a salon for a mani pedi for my upcoming trip as my regular salon had no openings. My husband checked ratings of other salons in the area. Trove had great ratings so I went them. The great ratings must not have been for mani pedi. In ONE day my manicure and pedicure chipped and peeled! Would give zero stars if allowed. Today we weren't seen even after calling and making an appointment many weeks ago and was assured that two staff members would be present to get pedicures at the same time. My mom and I were told Pam and jasmine were scheduled do to our pedicures- through texts, emails, etc. many times including this morning. When we arrived, we were asked why we were there. When my mom said we both had 1 pm pedicure appointments we were asked, " Both of you?" and was told Jasmine wasn't even in today and Pam was behind schedule. She said we could not get pedicures at the same time even if we made appointments. We tried two other pedicure places in town which were full since it was a Saturday at 1pm. Hence why we booked this appointment at least a month ago. Unreliable service and wouldn't return. read more

don't go there you won't get what you ask for but what the stylist wants. i asked for my hair to be bleached so my color would stay longer and she didn't do it and the color i asked for was wrong so now it fades to pink which i didn't want, i wanted it to fade to a lighter purple. and she didn't even face me towards the mirror so i could see the color changes. and when she blow out my hair no product was applied to make it soft or even asked me how my hairstyle was so I ended up with no part in the middle. and when she applied the color it came straight out of the tube didn't even put it in a bowel to do my roots and when rinsing asked if my grays take the color, i told her yes if they were bleached like i asked her to do. i will never return her again read more

Here's why: 6 months ago, I convinced my very skeptical brother to try ear candling. With frequent ear pain, he uncomfortably wore hearing aides. What the heck? Why not try ear candling? Unexpectedly, Bobby has NOT WORN HIS HEARING AIDES since that day, saying, "Well, I don't need them anymore. I hear the same with and without my hearing aides now. I just don't need them since ear candling." So, $30 for ear candling? or $4000 for hearing aides. You do the math.... 2 days ago, Bobbys ears were popping while flying, causing him pain again. This time, ear candling cleared even more yuck as Susanna had said it would. We're going to TROVE Beauty Bar/Alpha Bar again in a month. I don't have hearing loss; don't notice as dramatic a difference. Yet my hearing and balanced are definitely improved... Susanna delivers a lovely experience. Trove is a true gem in Santa Fe with both a wide range of services and an awesome team. We had a group of 7 ladies from all around the world come together in Santa Fe for my sister-in-law's wedding. I called all around Santa Fe looking for a salon that could accommodate a range of beauty treatments for this size group and it was challenging. I tried several hotels and well reviewed salons in the area, but they were limited in their menu and staff or weren't taking on new customers. I got my eyebrows done by Dreah Griego. She did an amazing job them!!!! It's only been a few hours since getting them micro-b, and the swelling and redness was gone in 30min. She was very sweet, talked me through the entire process, frequently asked if I was doing ok, was very professional and respectful!!! I absolutely love how my brows look now I can only imagine once they are "healed". The salon was gorgeous, great atmosphere, very elegantly styled and just an amazing experience. Change is not something I like as it takes me a while to get used to, but I did not have any mixed feelings after seeing my brows. I did not have any trouble booking for the pedicure and the receptionist was sweet and accommodating. When I arrived I was greeted by a warm and lovely lady named Dove. I was so lucky because Dove was my technician! She took me into a private room and gave me an excellent pedicure...taking her time and displaying true expertise and perfection. I so enjoyed talking with her, and found out she is a hairdresser as well. She informed me of all the services available at Trove. Dove was so helpful and kind and professional...
