December 2021 went in…read moreand was charged for the vasectomy and post op test even though my insurance, BC/BS Federal, stated they would cover everything. I was given Covid and small business as the reason and that I would be reimbursed within 30 days for the Vasectomy and would have to submit a claim for the $164 take home test. 90+ days later, I was reimbursed for the Vasectomy. I sent the itemized receipt to BC/BS for the take home test and was reimbursed $10 for the take home post op test because of contract with the in service provider (MD for Men). Just like every other time BC/BS or I attempt to call, no one is answering. I will be stopping by in the next few days to get this squared away. Very disappointed. So after not hearing back for over 24 hours, I called them and left a message with my name and phone explaining I had sent an email with my request. It has now been a week and I still haven't heard from them! I have come to 2 conclusions; either the doctor isn't taking any new patients (which you would have thought the receptionist could have told me that if it is the case) or they don't want to take patients without health insurance.
