I took the Paint and Sip classs. Missy and the owner Carrie was there. They had everything, every color of paint, brush, water container, sandpaper. So supportive and encouraging. I was wandering around downtown Carlsbad and came across this store. I fell in love! This place really is a treasure grove of goodies. From jewelry to home decor. Some of the items were Beach and mermaid themed which I really love. When you first walk into the store you dont realize that it is a fairly sizable store with a LOT of stuff! I could have easily bought more stuff for myself. With the wide variety of items it would also be easy to pick up some gifts for friends. Pricing varies depending on the item however they seemed to be fair prices. The service was friendly. I cant wait to stop by here again. read more

This place has really nice gift worthy items and cute decorations, but WHY WASNT THE CASHIER WEARING A MASK?! He was not wearing a mask for the entire time we were in the store. Your cashier is putting many people in danger due to ignorant personal beliefs. Please require your employees to wear masks! This is a must. read more

I seriously LOVE THIS STORE! The staff was suuuuper friendly and helpful! The stuff they have there is an eclectic gathering of all kinds of cool things! I went for small business Saturday and it was AWESOME! I found some of thee cutest stuff for Christmas! And every other occasion! They had stuff for everyone even for pets! Suuuper cool spot. I LOVE this cute place! I came across Trove Marketplace while walking shop to shop on State St. a couple months ago.....Since then I just have to stop in every couple weeks to see what's new! So much fun to walk through and check out the things they have gotten in.....always new and changing inventory, you've got to go see! I've purchased a Driftwood/Shell Wall hanging & a Starfish decoration for my bathroom. Also, a super unique magazine rack for my husband to use as a bedside table....it's really cool! Today I had the most disturbing experience at this store. I am a young woman who has Ulcerative Pan-colitis, an extreme version of Inflammatory Bowel Disease covered under the ADA. I rushed into this shop because I was near having an accident, and I asked where the bathroom was located. The woman at the counter said there were none, so I asked if they had restrooms that were available to the employees because i have a disability. She rudely told me I was not allowed access to those, and if i needed a bathroom I would need to go to across the street to the train station and find a restroom over there, in front of plenty of other customers. With no time to argue, I pull out my disability card that explains I need access to restrooms quickly because of my condition. I tell her I have this documentation, and I really dont have time to argue, all I need is a restroom and I shouldnt be denied this and publicly humiliated like this. All she says is "I know nothing about this" and continues to refuse me. Great, educate yourself then. Use common sense that when somebody says they have a restroom disease, they have every right to use your employee restroom. I have no time left, I run across the street into a breakfast place that had already closed down, and they graciously let me run in, and were horrified to hear my experience across the street afterwards. This woman was ignorant and was in a position of authority that just wanted to win. It was disgusting, and her customers witnessed it. Not a great look for a business, and had I been as sick as i was a few months ago, she would have had to mop the floor up about halfway through our conversation. I carry proper documentation just in case people like this exist, but never in my life have i been denied once shown documentation. Despicable, to say the least. read more
