I did a lot of research. I had plenty of consultation. I had my 1st Breast augmentation with another Dr. in Pasadena 20 years ago. It was time to re-do them. I didn't want to do the commute to Pasadena since I moved to the I.E area. I wanted to find another Dr. that made me feel just as GREAT as my original Dr. after all my research I found Dr. Andreasen that had a lot of similarities to my Original surgeon. Dr Andreasen has been my doctor for both of my breast augmentation surgeries. I did saline about 11 years ago and Dr A's surgical technique was impeccable. I think he said at that point he had only had one patient who had any infection. He and his staff are so nice!! Most recently I swapped out my implants for silicone because it was time to replace the saline ones that were just getting to the point they were at risk for breaking. Dr A has always been respectful of what I wanted, to not go "too big" so even this time we just went with a very similar size. I'm still healing up but I was very comfortable during the whole process and was up running errands the next day and I think only took narcotics twice. Thank you to Sam and Kelsey my nurses as well!! Let me start by saying this. If you're looking for a surgeon who's going to sit with you 30-40 min in a consult you're probably not going to find that here. This office is humming!! Every time I've gone in it is a really busy office. Will he answer your questions, address your concerns and give you a recommendation absolutely just don't expect an extremely long consultation. I called in December the soonest I could get in for a consult was January 31st. So bummed! Since I follow him on instagram he put out there that he had some additional consult times open I immediately sent a DM and he immediately answered. My consult was now moved to the first week of January!! Contrary to what I read in another review they do not ask for a credit card when you make an appointment, the consult is FREE! When I went in for my consultation I really wanted a lift with an augmentation, until he pointed out the amount of reconstruction that needed to happen because my breast were really saggy, uneven and my areolas were very big. He recommended we fix all that first so we would have the best result. Knowing that there were other surgeons out there who probably would've done it to take my money I trusted his opinion. I decided to book my surgery date but the soonest they had was May, I was really bummed because I am taking a anniversary trip with my husband in April and wanted to get them done before I left. They were in the middle of a lot of shifts in schedule because of Covid so she suggested we schedule my preop January 31st and said let's get that out of the way that way if something pops up you're ready. I said great!!! Went in for my preop the nurse was amazing, she answered all my questions and Dr Troy came in for another look and went over everything, he was surprised I came in so early for a preop being I wasn't scheduled til May. I said I'm hoping to get in sooner, he said oh ok great hopefully we can. Since my surgery was scheduled for that far out they told me I could wait to make my final payment until we got closer! Perfect! A week or so after my preop I get a text from Dr Troys office, could've even been him personally. He said he had an opening for March 5th a beautiful Saturday slot! I said yes!!! I'll take it!!! I was so excited!! Made my final payment and I was set to go!! Surgery date came my check in time was 7am. Not knowing what to expect the surgery center is beautiful brand new and really clean!!! The staff was absolutely AMAZING! I was there at 7am and I was on my way home by 10:30am In minimal pain! I thought I was going to be in bed for days but felt great even right after surgery. I got a call from them around. 2:30 to check on me and a few days later as well. The work he did was absolutely amazing!!! I don't even think I need a breast augmentation anymore! I felt calm and relax come surgery day I wasn't nervous at all I think mainly because I've watched him for months on Instagram do so many procedures that it made me feel so comfortable. Seeing the before and after, Just really cool to watch. I'm still recovering but can't wait to see the final outcome! I love it already!!! I am in LOVE with my new TATAS! Such a great experience from the beginning! I signed up for consultation back in December of 2020 with Dr. Andreasen. I'm very flattered that he thought my breasts were "the perfect breasts". But I knew I wanted to be on the "fuller" side. Dr. Andreasen was very professional and super nice! I felt very comfortable and confident about choosing him as my surgeon to do the procedure. I knew right away I was in the perfect hands. I then scheduled my surgery appointment in March 2021. This week I had my 2 month follow up. During my follow up I discussed with Dr. Andreasen my concerns about the indention and lack of fluff above my right breast. I had high expectations because my first breast augmentation surgery went so well but after this surgery I feel unhappy about the appearance of my breast. The dr minimized my disappointment by suggesting that "I buy a really good push-up bra". This was his medical solution to me. Also, that I could come back in 2 years for a lift. I would have done a lift but he said I didn't need one at my consult. I left the doctors office feeling even more disappointed, angry, frustrated and unheard. His lack of empathy towards my disappointment showed me volumes of his character. I work in the medical field in the cancer center and I am used to compassionate doctors, I can say this doctor definitely lacks in this area. I would like to add prior to my surgery I was not informed that my breast could become misshaped once the capsule contraction was removed. I only found out about this once I watched the video that was filmed while performing my surgery. I didn't understand what the dr was saying during the video until my swelling subsided and I noticed the indention and that my right breast looked different from the left. Get ready for a long & honest review. Because that's what I looked for when I was trying to find a surgeon, 13 months ago for a tummy tuck and lipo 360. It started with a consult in a beautiful building with really nice staff. The consult was free and it was fast. I read reviews comparing the speed to something negative but I felt the complete opposite. This man knows what he's talking about and he performs these surgeries every day, we don't need to sit and talk about our feelings for 45 minutes. We used Dr. Troy to receive the breast argumentation with lift and Mommy Makeover procedures in 2017 at his Ontario facility priced at around 20K. For full disclosure, I'm simply the financier of the services that were provided and not the patient. Also, know the patient has nothing but arbitration as a recourse, and I have zero for this disappointing outcome; however, we faithfully paid for the services. I feel it's necessary to let others be informed satisfactorily before making their doctor choice and body alteration decisions during the emotional and psychological challenges of my loved one long after these failed surgical procedures. Here are the details of surgery number one. Breast lift and augmentation with a Mommy Make Over tuck with liposuction. Results - Breasts uneven with aweful severe scarring at nipples, wrinkles \ ripples under breasts with rolls of skin backside of the ribs post-op. Tummy results- Uneven and irratic incisions made at bikini line and an appearance of overlapping of excess tissue left to mend \ bond together during the healing process, which then required a second procedure approximately 8 weeks later. Surgery Number Two - This was for the issues of the Mommy Make Over \ Tuck, which was also a disaster because of the end results of being very unattractive due to the bad scarring and deep dimpled sections of the scar. Bad to worse, devastating for the patient. Surgery three- 180 days after surgery two was for scarring correction and dimpling of the incision. After I reached out to the office a fourth time, they requested making an appointment for the patient to evaluate what could be done to address the concerns of the patient. During the consultation the surgeon stated that it was common for breast argumentations to settle or sag prematurely after lift and for folds of skin to develop along the back of the ribs and that the scaring of the breasts and belly was absolutely normal and he would correct it for an additional 9K, ridiculous response. Sadly, we now have a woman who is more self-conscious of her body than prior to receiving any of the services of this surgeon. I can not even begin to form into words how she feels about this disastrous outcome and how I feel as I had originally suggested she select this surgeon. In addition, when I expressed our concerns to the surgeon during the second belly pre-op, he dismissed me with a arrogant disposition indicating he knew what was best in correcting this problem and the patient's care. Yet, he is not who has had to attempt to help with the psychological and emotional complexities and the soul healing of the patient during the entire post -op process, which continues even to this day. I do find it strikingly interesting and frustrating that several other breast argumentations \ lifts and tucks of other patients with different surgeons have lasted 12-plus years yet, Dr. Troy indicated the end results were perfectly normal but would also require 9K to correct. My opinion above is based on my own personal experience as a greatful recipient of those near perfect post procedure results by other surgeons, which were performed on my previous significant other, spouses or close friends many years ago. Recently, we've had a second consultation with a different surgeon, and it was determined that it would cost approximately 21K to correct the breast argumentation and that would address the sagging, ripples on the bottom sides of the breasts and folding of skin at the back of the ribs. As for the belly, nothing can be done to correct it as there is only so much skin to pull from below the belly button. This is clearly not what the patient nor I was expecting to experience at the start of this endeavor, but I'm determined to make sure that the blunder of the argumentation and lift is addressed to make the patient whole as possible. After reading the reviews posted on Yelp, it's clear: Doctor has an office cheerleader who gaslights and then attacks those who post any criticism of the procedures received by the patients. My advice to them is don't even attempt to refute this post remain professional accept the feedback as it was rightfully earned and know pictures don't deceive or blur truth. We, in good faith, gave doctor ample opportunities to address the failure of these procedures that were performed on the patient.. read more

Troy did my first B.A. back in 2015 and as soon as I woke up in recovery, I knew something was terribly wrong. The shape of my breasts looked like someone shoved two footballs into my chest. Fast forward not even two years later, I had to get a revision from another surgeon because of how awful Dr. Andresen's "work" was. My breasts were not even in my pocket any more, they were low and completely off to the sides of my rib cage. I can't even put into words how embarrassed I was at the way I looked. Before I committed to my revision with a new surgeon, I did go back to Dr. Andresen's office to voice my concerns. His recommendation was sub par at best. All in all, I've had to now pay over $14K for another doctor to fix what Dr. Andresen did. I'm finally happy with the way I look but I would avoid this surgeon at all costs. Dr. A is the real deal! I completely trust this man with my life. First and for most he is so easy to talk to. He doesn't beat around the bush and is completely up front. I had a breast aug and lift. First thing he made me aware of is the "scars" that come with a lift. Surgery was booked out a bit but that's expected with someone with such a booming business. Surgery was quick! Very minimal pain afterward. I didn't even need to take my pain meds. A little swelling but that subsided quick. Unfortunately I did develop a hematoma a couple days after surgery but Dr had me in there immediately to have it removed. Again, quick and painless. I felt back to normal maybe 3-4 days after surgery. I was able to drive again and perform daily (minimal) tasks. As far as staff goes: AMAZING! Day of surgery Zach was my nurse and he was so kind. He was quick with the IV. My hematoma surgery I had Emily as a nurse and she was such a delight! Quick and so friendly. He has such a great team. After 2 months of my surgery I have a horrible double bouble on both of my breast. Went back after the procedure. Dr A hole told me it will go away. It didn't now my implants completely bottomed out. Needless to say, 2020 has been an odd year, and with so much going on in the world the level of care I received in June for my tummy tuck, and lipo 360 was extraordinary. I worked at maintaining my weight loss for 2 years and tried everything I could to get rid of the skin (as I was terrified of surgery). But losing 60 lbs. and being 40 years old the skin wasn't leaving on its own. My cousin referred me to Dr. Andreasen and I started following him on Instagram. After 6 months of watching his surgeries I scheduled my facetime consult (I live about 2.5 hours from his office). That was the beginning of the Andreasen Experience. He was so kind and easy to speak to, and put my mind at ease. He gave me a quote and described what my recovery would look like and told me about the hotel next to the surgery center. This was February and we scheduled for June. I was never planning on having surgery in the middle of a pandemic, but honestly, I felt 100% confidence in him and his team. Two weeks before I came in for my pre-op appointment where I was able to meet so many of his staff, and truly he has the greatest office environment. One of his office staff came in with the quote (exactly the same as he said on the phone) and she got teary eyed talking to me about how much she knows it was going to change my life. It was such a huge comfort as family and friends both gave me some odd reactions to my surgery plans. Then meeting Dr. Andreasen, he is truly such a caring and friendly doctor and explains everything in such detail it put my mind at ease. Next came surgery day, I had checked in the night before and arrived first thing. Covid restrictions didn't allow my husband there which was difficult, but again his staff was so great at putting me at ease. After the surgery they wheeled me to my hotel room and got me set up and comfortable. First thing I did was watch my surgery on Instagram and I cried...I never thought those results were possible. The recovery was not too bad, but let me tell you laughter is not the best medicine after your abdominal wall has been repaired. His nurse is extremely involved in the recovery process and responds quickly to questions. Dr. Andreasen was great about moving to virtual follow once I was clear of drains and my incision was healing well.... Honestly once we stopped having follow ups I missed going to his office. To wrap up this very long review, everything was perfection in the process and it was truly an incredible experience. And the results, I never thought I would feel confident enough to show my stomach...even as a teen I had trouble with that confidence. At 3 months post op I rocked the first bikini of my adult life. I went to Dr. Troy last year for my first augmentation and lift after one of my friends recommended him. After seeing his instagram videos full of educational content I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to go to. I was almost not able to go to him as my then fiancé was told we had to move out of state for his work, but Dr. Troy and his team managed to schedule me in with enough time to recover enough before the move. My results, at first were great! I had absolutely NO bruising and my scars from my lift healed beautifully! However over the course of the year my implants shifted too low and out for my liking. Now, I'm a highly active individual (i'm a novice bodybuilder for the bikini division) with very elastic skin and an irregular chest wall. This put me at a bit of a disadvantage with my first procedure and he said I would likely need a tune up. While disappointing, I understand personal anatomy is a huge factor in an end result. I just had some factors working against me. As time went on I decided to go through with a revision. He recommended a capsulorrhaphy and capsulotomy to reinforce the implants higher up. I decided to go up in size and profile as my first implants were a less firm for my liking. We agreed to 420cc XHP the week prior (my original implants were 295cc) however a few days before I messaged him asking if we could go a little larger. I figured it was a long shot so close to surgery but him and his awesome team brought options for me last minute on surgery day, and Im incredibly grateful for their efforts! They went above and beyond! I ended up going with 470cc XHP. Im only day 2 post op and can definitely feel the extra stitches from the capsulorraphy. So far, again NO BRUISING and minimal blood on my bandages. Im so excited for my final results as I heal, i'll try to remember to update here once they settle, but I have a very good feeling about my results this time around. Well worth traveling back down to California for this. Keep in mind, if you decide to go with Dr. Troy, that consults will be quick. Go to your consults, pre ops, post ops with questions ready to go! He moves quick so make sure you think EVERYTHING through before hand. Write it down if you need to. He has so many patients because he's very popular and reputable, for good reason! I had my breast done by Dr. Anderson and he would not consent the size I desired and stated in the consultation that I may want to get another Breast Job a few years down the line... it may be that he wants his patients to pay for TWO breasts jobs. The surgery I had done By Dr. Andreasen, was very quick and simple easy, I felt very comfortable with him, he is nice and professional, and good at what he does, I still do respect the doctor very much for his expertise, except for the fact that he will not give his patients what they are desiring, because he initially you to have to come back for another Breast Job to get desired results! I spent my savings the $6500! he only would put in 300CC .... to be continued ple All I'm saying here is that if you want to use this dr. For your breast implants,,, be aware that most likely .... you will be getting two separate surgery's. There's a 50/50 chance you will not obtain desired results first time because either for money or to be known famous for not much pain after surgery, he is into doing two surgery's to obtain results. The team at his office said the same thing at my pre app. Stating "who's not to say a few years from now, you'll want another surgery if you want bigger at that time but let's just stick to the dr.s plans. ECT. My body type is on the lean side about 116 lbs. The other three dr.s i saw couldn't see why he could not give the desired size and results after all it is plastic surgeon should accommodate the patient verses an option of how it might look proportionate to the body. It is up to him however what he decides to do and not do. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't for the cost 6K of another entire surgery and stress on the body of undergoing yet another procedure. Dr. Andreasen is the best!! I am 8 weeks post tummy tuck completely recovered. Had very little pain if any and by day 4 I was up and moving around. I had a great experience from the moment I walked in for my consultation he was very honest and straightforward! I consulted with him about 5 years ago and he basically told me I didn't need any procedures done. I was impressed with him then, what plastic surgeon tells you "you don't need anything done." ? I had my first consultation the Summer of 2016 and scheduled my surgery for October 20, 2016. The staff was great and Dr. Andreasen himself was very friendly. I felt at ease from the very beginning. During my consultation, I explained that I wanted a natural look as I was starting with nothing. He recommended 275cc-300cc after I explained my ideal expectations. I agreed on 300cc Mentor High Profile sub-muscular implants. Please note, I had very little natural breast tissue and I am a narrow body with a long torso and a large chest bone. My surgery was pleasant (I loved everyone at the surgery center) and the healing process was tolerable. I only took 4 days off of work and that was just to give myself time to rest even though I felt great. The first post op appointment went well. He liked what he did and I was happy. After 4 weeks, I noticed my left breast was settling a lot faster than the right which gave a very lopsided appearance. At week 5 I became very concerned because even the shape was strange. I went in for my 6 week post op appointment a week early due to this concern and Dr. Andreasen told me that he believed I was not generating scar tissue on the bottom half of the implant pocket and advised me to wear an underwire bra 24/7 until the scar tissue built up enough. Months of underwire 24/7 pass... My 6 month appointment came about in May 2017 and I thought they had evened out and the underwire helped. He took a look at them and informed me that the right had just caught up to the left in the settling process which was why they appeared more symmetrical but they still sat very low leaving my nipples facing upward. He recommended going in and stitching them up for when I was ready for another surgery to reinforce the bottom. I went home feeling not so great. I wasn't expecting bad news considering I thought they were getting better. We set the year post op appointment for November 2017. Still not feeling too hot about the situation and with the constant "nip slips", I decided to do my due diligence and get some second opinions. I spent the next few months making appointments with other doctors to get their opinions. The common comments that were made were that the pockets appeared to be placed too low. It was also mentioned that when patients start with very little breast tissue, surgeons tend to eyeball where the implants should sit while making the pockets and with me having a longer torso, they assumed that is how I ended up with my results. I questioned whether stitching them up would help and the response was no, the implants were too small and I would have a scar on my ribs from the original incision if that was the route I chose to take. In September, I called and set another appointment to meet with Dr. Troy Andreasen to address my concerns once again. I explained that I had visited other doctors for second opinions and I advised him of their suggestions. I had always considered him dismissive during previous appointments but he was receptive and empathetic which I genuinely appreciated. He told me a story regarding a procedure he had previously had that didn't really turn out the way he anticipated and it really made me feel like he was understanding my frustration and.. well, the agony my results were causing me mentally. I wanted to give him the opportunity to help me. He agreed to bring me in for a revision. The revision included larger implants with internal stitching to reinforce the bottom of the implant in order to bring my nipples to be more centered and to add the fullness on the top half of my breast that every woman would desire after an augmentation. With this revision, I was responsible for paying for the anesthesia, surgery center costs and medications due to the surgery center being an independent medical center and the anesthesia being a liability for him. My second surgery was scheduled for September 21st, 2017. Again, I had a wonderful experience at the surgery center. It has definitely been more painful this time around due to the internal stitching but Maria, his medical assistant, has called me daily to check on me and make sure I am resting and taking my meds and gives me the opportunity to ask any specific questions. I am 4 days post op and I've gotten emotional every time I look at them because they look significantly different.. Which is a good thing! I am extremely appreciative of Dr. Troy Andreasen for taking the time to listen to my concerns and really working with me to figure out a solution. I will update with more pictures as I heal. I'm one day post-op from an implant exchange and nipple lift. I've had almost no pain, sore yes, but nothing like my previous surgery back in 2015 which left me bruised all the way to my collar bone and in tears from pain. This entire journey and experience (The Andreasen Experience) has been nothing short of AMAZING!!! I wanted to wait until I was completely healed to leave a review. I am now two months post op and have been cleared to resume any and all activities. I first had a virtual consult with Dr. Troy where he made me feel relaxed and confident with the expectations and options available for me very quickly. I scheduled my preop the following day which was about 2 months out due his very busy schedule. I began following his IG account where he films his procedures and explains many FAQs, so I became very well versed on the procedure I was getting quickly. He is also very funny, witty and hip! Lol. The surgery was quick- 21 minutes exactly! The recovery was what was to be expected, but NO pain or bruising whatsoever! Any small concerns I had, I emailed or DMd him and guys, he responds QUICK!! I had a very sad experience communicating with his staff. I was scheduled to have my surgery , all paper work and test and paired for. Going over my paper work before surgery to be prepared I ended up with 3 questions I wrote down on a piece of paper to ask my coordinator. I called and asked for her or if she was busy could she please call me back later. The receptionist asked me what my question was because she might of been able to answer for me. When I told her she said just a moment please. Put on hold and figured she was asking someone or getting me some who could answer since she didn't say why she left the call. Another person came on and i repeated my first question. Again she said just a moment, put me on hold and a third person came on the phone. She said can I help you. I said I hope so, your the third person I've been transferred to without an explanation. I explained my question over again, it wasn't evidently explained to the next one I was being passed onto! I felt this was very unprofessional and a little bit upsetting by this point. When I was put on with the fourth person explained my question she asked for my name to get my chart. Finely I was getting somewhere. She looked in my chart and couldn't find the medication there I was prescribed to take before hand. I told her the name and spelled it but she put me on hold for a moment came back on and asked the name again! By this time I was frustrated. I asked what was going on and the girl said to me , I'm the one that did your EKG, and she said it like that should appease me???. I asked what was going on, all I asked was a simple question, she replied not properly and politely, I'm trying to help you. She was frustrated, short, an unpleasant. I wasn't happy by this time on how I was being treated. She told me to hold on and transferred me to the 5th person who was the coordinator I asked for in the phone call 35 mins before to speak to or leave message for. She acted really irritated and a very bad attitude the minute she came on the phone, and I had to tell her all over again what my question was. She acted very short, abrupt, and rude. The attitude was , I don't have time for this!" She rudely finally answered my question about the med. I went onto my next question and she said it's right there in your folder. I went over the whole folded with her page by page and asked her what this particular page looks like? She told me what was on the top of the page . That page was not there. If it was it wouldn't of been a question of mine. She said rudely, did I email you? I said know. Instantly I though awe hah that paper wasn't in my folder and she thinks maybe she emailed it to me? Which she did Not. She said you sound really frustrated. I said I was because it's frustrating to go through what I had to get some questions answered so rudely. I mentioned she had told me two times during this pre op appt. she circled phone numbers to call if I had any questions at all to ask. I said I'm sitting here with my 3 questions on a piece of paper ready to ask and I've been treated rudely and inappropriately for a professional staff with a really rushed and uncaring manner. She said to me she's just listening to vent. I said she should be because I'm the one who's had to go through this!! Her aim was to make me at fault!!! Finally she says you know what, I'll have the dr. Call you back. I'm thinking great this will end and I can really talk to someone. I waited for his call back. It came maybe 1/2 hour later. He said who he was and I said yes hello, thank you Dr. He went on to tell me they wouldn't be doing my surgery and he couldn't have his staff treated that way! He gave me no room to talk for myself and went on to say a full refund would be given me. I was going to say thank you and he hung up. yes hung up, without saying how or when I get my refund. Would you believe I had to call back to find out! I did t even make it to surgery. All I could think after all this is I must of dodged a bullet. If I'd get treated this way before surgery what would it of been like after if I had a question. Not the quality you'd expect from professionals is it. So after my post, this doctor decided to message me personally instead of responding to me on the review. I'd like to say, his rude response and threats speak volumes about his character and professionalism. He said I "lied" and even proceeds to say that Allergan never has recommended MRIs on these silicone implants. I will NOT be bullied. I spoke the TRUTH ( the reason Yelp exists is to provide helpful information on the experiences with a business). I called and spoke to a representative from Allergan and they stated that MRIs ARE Recommended. The rep stated as a manufacturer they educate the surgeons on each implant. He should have known. The rep even advised that it's shown in detail on their website. (I have provided the picture below). So as you can see, I am a ONLY providing the truth and FACTS. My breast implant exchange and lift was June 2020. I was and am very disappointed in my results. They look no better than when I went in there except now I have ugly scars from my lift. Dr Andreasen put a 360 size implant in me. Prior I had 450. I explained to him in my consult I wanted fullness. I left the size up to him as everyone said to trust him, he is always right. Even my husband told me to go bigger and I insisted on listening to the Doctor. I am not a petite woman, so I don't know why he thought a 360 implant was right for me. He has done beautiful augmentations I have seen on other woman, unfortunately for me I am not one I also felt like my disappointment was not taken seriously and just told to come back for an exchange. This Doctor treats you like cattle, I felt. He's very rushy and just goes quickly from patient to patient. He offers no sense of patient care. Maybe he's just been doing it too long and has lost interest in the actual patient and just cares about making the money as quickly as he can.
