Within about six hours, my partner developed painful blistering on the back of his head. We saw a doctor promptly; he was diagnosed with folliculitis and prescribed an antibiotic. It's been 2 days later and I still have tender scalp. I also want to note a hygiene concern: there is a shared blow-drying area with hair brushes available for anyone to use. We were not offered a disposable brush or a clearly single-use option, which made us uncomfortable from a cleanliness standpoint. We contacted the business to share what happened and request a resolution. We did not feel our concerns were addressed, and the compensation offered ($60) did not reflect the cost of the services (close to $400) plus a medical visit. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this location.
