Although this wasn't my first experience with Botox, I had a previous bad experience with filler. Becca took extra time and care to listen to my concerns and come up with a treatment plan that we both felt comfortable with. My results are natural and subtle but also very effective. I feel 10 years younger. I ended up doing a combination of Botox and filler and it made a huge difference without looking over-filled or pulled. I feel the need to write an update after what happened yesterday. April 27th, I got 2 calls and a…read moretotal of 4 text messages from "the owner" of this establishment, well at least that's who he said he was, the last two texts were sent at 8:11pm and 8:20pm respectively (late and after regular business hours). I had to let this person know to stop calling and texting me cause it was borderline harassment. He just fell entitled to keep trying to get in touch with me as if he was some sort of friend or family member, not to even mention I was working when I got his first call. This really makes me upset and concerned, I understand having a business is stressful and he might feel my review was "unfair" but as a paid customer I have the right to express my opinions and concerns without being harassed. He kept trying to convince me to change my review and he complained that I left the same exact one on 2 different sites. Sorry but this behavior is completely unprofessional, no one should be afraid of leaving a review for a poor service. Just to address some of the "responses" you left: the facial I got from your esthetician didn't last an hour, in fact it took around 40 minutes which about a third of the time was spent on steam and a mask and that was my biggest complain, the fact that your employees fell entitled to charge 30 extra dollars for "the extra time spent"; if they told you, the owner, it was an hour they lied to you then. In fact, they did mention there was going to be a $30 charge in case they needed more time but honestly that's a rip off knowing that it wasn't going to be an hour working on my face. I have great skin modesty aside, I do take care of it very well and I also told them from the beginning I wanted to get check an ingrown hair in my chin and she didn't really do that. I told you over the phone that your strategy of trying to get customers onboard advertising your so called "30 min" facial is a really bad one, it's calling for trouble, cause your staff is always going to use the excuse "the client needed more work" so we spent more time and for that we will charge them more. Be upfront with your clients and charge more from the beginning. And if tipping is not an obligation then get rid of the sign with your esthetician Venmo accounts for us to tip them, the one located at the front counter, if you don't know what I'm talking about. Other than that you staff was polite as I said it over the phone. And for the last time, no more calls nor texts, just in case.

I appreciated her being considerate that it was my first time and taking her time to walk me through the process. Mychala also provide recommendations for both my home regimen and my next steps with Asia Rose Spa. Parking is a bit tricky in Virginia Highlands as it is mostly paid street parking. I went on a Sunday (which I highly recommend) when the area is a bit more quiet and street parking fees are waived. On arrival, I was warmly greeted, offered refreshments, and given forms to fill out for consent and medical reasons. Arrive early so that you have time to fill them out became it is quite a stack. I wish there was an option to fill out online ahead of time. The interior is beautiful. It is such a relaxing atmosphere. There is a private sitting room with refreshments and lockers available for VIP members to wait. I look forward to trying it out soon, but there wasn't anyone I had to share the main lobby with so I was fine. Richelle was my esthetician, and come to find out, the owner. The facial (even the extractions) were so gentle that I nearly drifted to sleep. What kept me from doing so was Richelle's great and informative conversation. She discussed my current routine and products and helped me identify what my problem areas were. I went home with a sample set of their in-house skincare line (Mocha Rose). My normally oily, sensitive, and congested skin is responding well to it after the usual purging phase. My favorite product so far is the 24 Karat serum. It makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. I will definitely be back for my next facial and to re-up on products.
