There are several handicapped parking spots near the entrance. I had asked for a room near the elevator, and my request was honored. There is a machine to fill water bottles, cups, and ice conveniently located near the elevator & gym on the first floor. The rooms are furnished with modern furniture which looks fairly new. A nice breakfast was served both mornings that I was there. One thing that really impressed me was that I received a text message shortly after checking in asking if everything was to my satisfaction. SOME OF THESE EMPLOYEES ARE LIARS; they lie to people and falsely call the cops on them. Any check-in time before 12:00 P.M., you're charged a fee of 75 to check in early. As I wait to check in, my battery dies, and I have to call Triple AAA. After my battery got started, I chose to run a few errands. At night, I came back to check in and decided to eat my food, parked while booking my reservation through customer service, and had a talk with the front desk lady named Jules. After a few moments, I saw the police and was told they were called because I was "sitting" in the parking lot for 2 hours. I was on the phone and only in the parking lot for 50 minutes and was on hold with customer service for 30 minutes WHILE eating my food. Whatever new manager and employees work here, they are complete jokes. read more

We stayed here for one night while traveling in the area. We liked this hotel. The place was nice, new and clean and very modern. There were a lot of common areas around the lobby and people were hanging out there, which was kind of neat; you dont just have to stay in your room. The check in desk also had a few things like snacks and drinks you could buy, which was nice. As Hilton Honors members, they gave us 2 bottles of water and a snack when we checked in. As for the room, it was clean, nice and modern. I liked the lemony soap in the bathroom but I didnt like the sharp corners of the bed. If you stay here, be careful when walking around the beds because those corners will bang up your legs. Still, I liked the place and would stay here again. read more

They are putting less food out. My first day of my stay Thursday at 40 minutes before it was supposed to close down there was no fruit. No meat. No yogurt all of which is normal for a TRU. I had to ask for the milk to be filled up for my cereal and I was told just to tip it to get the milk out well I already had done that abd it was EMPTY!!! Frankly, that's not something hotel guest should be doing because they could turn it over and make a mess and perhaps get hurt. The outside seating area needs a good cleaning. Stuff all over the cushions. The tables were dirty. Needed a good sweeping. I'd still come back I cannot give it 5 stars anymore. read more

Tired, lazy and dirty. So, put in perspective, I do about 150 nights a year. First, the digital key never worked. Got nothing but excuses. Second , there were dirty footprints out of the shower and they didn't offer to move rooms. Third, my refrigerator was doa and they told me to give my food to the bar, no offer to repair. Let's add the Bar stools are wobbly( I was sober). The stains on the wall in room were disturbing. No customer service, and they have been "under renovations" since I was here in July. I'm giving it two stars because it is not some place to which I would return. That doesn't mean it's a bad hotel, it's just not right for me. Needed a hotel close to the main line and most hotels were already full or in the four to $500 range. This was our first time using the Tru brand by Hilton and probably our last. The rooms are exceedingly small; other than one small desk chair there's no place to sit except on the bed. The sheets in our bed were wrinkled but hopefully clean. I have my doubts... The lobby looks like a merger of a CrossFit gym with a Chuck E cheese and East German nightclub. It was crowded and loud on our arrival which is what you would expect when you install foosball tables. Hallways were also dirty and needed a vacuum. I also should have paid attention to the Yelp reviews regarding loud children but I figured maybe that was a one off. It was not. There must be some sort of connection to this particular hotel and local sports tournaments. The hotel was full of adolescent lacrosse players and wrestlers. Children were running screaming and laughing in the hallways until after 2:00 a.m. . For over 300 bucks the least you can expect is a good night's sleep and we did not get that. On the plus side, the complimentary breakfast was not awful. read more

The room was spacious in its simplicity and I absolutely adored the bathroom, because it had a wand attachment for the undercarriage , with water pressure that was appreciated. Brand new Hilton property. I'd stayed in a Tru By Hilton before and this one was much the same. On the positive side, the lobby and breakfast area is well designed and functional both for starting the day and winding down at the end of the night with a drink while you play table soccer. Likewise, the pool is a welcoming retreat to take a dip after a long day. The rooms are... well... small. That's not to say it's cramped, as they made some sensible design choices, but don't expect much in terms of extra furniture. There's a bed, a bathroom, and a small desk on wheels. Pretty much everything else, especially storage is cleverly hidden. Not a huge fan about how it looks like an IKEA-furnished college dorm, but I understand what they were going for. Only thing that let me down about this particular property as compared to the last one I went to was the breakfast. The staff member running the breakfast bar wasn't really on his game and it showed. read more

Literally the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life ! Me and my husband drove from New York we called to verify that it was 24 hour Check in told them we'd get there about 3am the guy was like yeah that's fine .. when we got there this old rude lady who hated her job and probably her life canceled our reservation . Gave us a huge problem about setting up another reservation was talking under her breath and just being so rude . I told her I was going to be talking to the GM about her rude and unprofessional and she finally got our new reservation done and said for the inconvenience we can stay an extra night .. lol we had to check out the next morning with another lady who also had no clue on how to do things and poor customer service as well . We have a lot of Business trips coming up and we won't be staying here . I highly recommend not coming here and tru Hilton management should probably have a customer service course they put their employees through cause this customer service won't bring any life time customers that's for sure ! read more

I will never use Hilton Hotels again anywhere in the United States or abroad . They held a financial issue from back in May of 2022 against me because I had I left the hotel and went to live on the streets because I couldn't afford it. In November 2022 I received benefits and tried to move back into the hotel due to a flooded out campsite that I had been living in a tent on for 5 months I had the money to pay up front for however long it was needed , but found out that they had put me on a do not rent to list after one night of being in the hotel they told me I had until 12:00 that afternoon to leave with everything I had or the cops were going to be called I will never recommend Hilton Hotels to any of my friends or family ever read more

I'm writing this review for the very small demographic that the Tru by Hilton chain may not be aware they've attracted: those suffering from CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) and MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity). I have CIRS and food sensitivities. I probably have some MCS going on too, but I'm not as sensitive as others that I know. I'm staying at this particular Tru location while my home is being remediated for mold. I chose it because other sufferers pointed out that the chain was new construction and the rooms don't have carpeting. This greatly increases the chances that the rooms and entire facility will be mold-free. As far as I can tell, the hotel is mold-free. However, because it's new construction, it might not be a good place for those with MCS. In the hallways, I can smell the new carpet and/or carpet glue. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner that are provided are, of course, scented. And, as with most modern hotels, the room windows don't open. The hotel provides a nice complimentary breakfast bar. As someone with CIRS, I'm eating a relatively clean diet. I have to dodge MSG in all of its many forms. I'm also gluten-free, sugar-free, additive-free, etc. Despite that, I was able to get a nice breakfast for myself here. I chose eggs with cheese and salsa, chicken sausages, yogurt with toppings, and a banana. The coffee is quite good here. Also, there's a Starbucks in the same parking lot as the hotel if you want a latte. I did try the indoor swimming pool here. It's a chlorine rather than saltwater pool, so might not work for those with MCS, but I didn't have any trouble with it. The water is heated to a comfortable temperature. My few complaints were minor. I wish each room had a microwave oven. I generally bring my own food with me and being able to prepare it in my room would've been nice. However, if you're EMF-sensitive, this might be a plus. Though there's still wifi obviously. There is a microwave available for guest usage in the lobby. I also wish the room fridge had a small amount of freezer space. Like I said, minor complaints. Anyway, this is a hotel chain that might work for your travels needs if you have CIRS or similar conditions. read more

I have stayed here three times now. I will first tell you about my current experience with bed bugs and then tell you about previous experiences. I reported on Tuesday morning that something was biting me in bed and was told that housekeeping checks the sheets when they change them. On Wednesday morning, I woke up with more bites and the signature rust colored, blood-lookong stains on the sheet of bed bugs. These stains were not on an area that came in contact with my skin, nor am I bleeding anywhere on my body. I reported it again and a woman from the front desk came up to look. I showed her photos I found on the internet and she agreed that my bed resembled those. She changed my room and told me the GM would be calling. The GM called and was apologetic, but basically said she won't be here until Friday to review everything. She said she would try to get the bed bug specialist here today or tomorrow. I leave tomorrow morning and I'm looking for assurances that I will not be taking bed bugs home. I requested the number to the bed bug specialist so I can ask him some questions. 6 hours later I have not been given that phone number. I asked when I could expect the room and bed to be inspected and they couldn't tell me, which tells me they have made no effort to actually book a specialist. I requested the phone number for corporate which I believe hotels are legally required to give if requested, and they ignored the request twice. I found the phone number online and corporate was absolutely appalled by how the hotel has handled this so far. Meanwhile, the young woman at the front desk tells me that protocols are being followed. You would think they would be as anxious as I am to know if they have bed bugs in their hotel. The corporate office has opened a case for me. The hotel has continued jerking me around. They are completely unconcerned with actually helping me even find some answers to make sure I don't take bed bugs home with me, if that is what we are dealing with here. I will never stay at this horrible hotel ever again, which is a shame because I'm in the area one week a month. The last time I stayed here, there was hair from two different people on the shower wall, somebody else's conditioner on the shower wall (which easily wiped away; it wasn't a stain), there was no hand soap, and somebody's hanger from home that left in the bathroom. This is not the hotel you want to stay in if you would like cleanliness or actual resolution to any problems you may encounter during your stay. read more

Great dog friendly hotel. No carpets anywhere. Adequate and clear space to take the dog out. Ready room for two medium kennels. A surprising shortcoming was due to the minimalist decor. There was no actual closet, just a rod, in the open, that would accommodate 6 to 8 hangers. Furthermore, there were no dresser drawers. Next time we will bring some plastic tubs to use as drawers for under the credenza below the tv. The breakfast was a little lame with processed scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, all 4 mornings. But, did I say, an ideal arrangement with dogs. It will be my go to place for dog shows in the area. read more

aircuts The hotel itself is very nice and clean however the overall experience was greatly lacking. Our group had three hotel reservations with confirmations two were located and the third could not be found. They said they had no open rooms available for the third room we needed even though we had confirmations for all three rooms booked. After driving around to another Hilton we were sent back here because there was in-fact open rooms. Later (10:45 pm) there was a large group in the parking lot blasting music and yelling I called the front desk and was told quiet time doesn't begin until midnight even though signage throughout the hotel clear lost that quiet time begins at 10pm. So our three small children and elderly family members who had been traveling all day were unable to sleep due to the parking lot party outside our rooms. Sunday morning we headed down to breakfast at 7:30, breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00am, there was no breakfast and no sign of breakfast. At 8:30 they had a few things out like muffins and cereal. Would not consider this hotel family friendly at all and very disorganized and understaffed. read more

My boyfriend and I really loved our stay. We started it on the first floor per request of my boyfriend and our first night was fantastic. Our second day we had a family check in next door and the walls were thin and we could hear them but it wasn't anything drastic. Then the kids started screaming at the top of their lungs, parents started arguing, it was extremely loud. I requested to change rooms and they did it right there no problem whatsoever. We got moved to the 5th floor looking out front and it's beautiful. Our customer service has been nothing short of incredible! We had the pleasure of handling most needs/requests with Alicia at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful. When we checked in she told us about the area a little bit which was very very nice. As for the room it's a basic room; there's no drawers or anything to tuck away but not the end of the world. There are shelves, wall hooks, and a place to set things. There's plenty of outlets and USB ports. WiFi was really good for us the whole time we were here. There is also a mini fridge which is nice. The shower was nice. They do have their own soap, shampoo, and conditioner on the walls. There's no real place to put your stuff in the shower. Their products smell amazing!!! If you have kind of dry, dyed, fine hair like I do I wouldn't recommend using there's only because it's not targeted toward dry, dyed, fine hair. No biggie. Water gets really hot. PLENTY of space on the sink area. The bathroom does have a hair dryer and some extra outlets for your own products. Basic cable. You can bring an HDMI cord and hook up your roku, computer, chromecast, whatever, it's great. The bed was REALLY comfortable. They do only give you 3 pillows but will bring you more if you call (thank you Alicia!). The desk can roll out if you want it somewhere else and as someone who used that it was a nice feature. The breakfast was good. They had bagels, eggs, sausage, waffle boats, fruits, oatmeal, juice and water, and some salsas. The area is great! Right next to the highway (but not so close all you can hear is the noise) and easy to travel. Starbucks, First Watch, and Qudoba are right outside the door. Also within walking distance is a Wawa that's awesome, Chickies and Pete's. If you're ok with crossing busy streets there's a chick fil a, Walmart, and Wendy's. read more

This hotel is one of hiltons new concept hotels. Its very nice and unique. The location is close to out of things and easy to get too. Only thing is that the water didn't get super hot and the alarm clock went off at 5am when we didn't set it. Other then that great hotel. read more
