Good - price is lower than many I've stayed around the state. TV is huge, love it! Ceiling fan over the bed ... unique for a hotel, but appreciated since comfort system sorta sucks. Here's a list of things where improvements could be made... Front desk clerk at check in wasn't really nice .. more like checking in at McDonalds IYKYK. King suite - huge kitchen .. but once you pull out the sofa, no place to sit .. only 2 chairs at the table. Zero trash cans ??? Heat was off, room was cold, wall thermostats don't work ... had to figure out that window units to get the heat on ... basically all or nothing ... hot or cold no real comfort. 3 hangers in the closet, drawers stick and are hard to use. So it's day two of a three day stay. The location is great, good access to everything in the area. It does not feel new but the property is clean and well staffed with nice people. We stay at Hampton's often and the free breakfast is always hit or miss. Is definitly a miss here. Not badly made, just super cheap. Coffee was decent but everything else was pretty awful. The room had a nice kitchen though so we walked to target and got groceries. Luckily there are a bunch of places within walking distance to eat but if you're counting on saving money due to the free breakfast don't expect a lot. read more

Stayed here for three nights while in town for the convention at the adjacent expo center. They were in the process of a remodel which is never good as a customer, though we never really felt the effects of it during our stay. I will say that there were several hiccups with our stay: 1) I had to order housekeeping after staying two days. One a three day stay, we should be getting housekeeping for new towels, beds being changed etc. 2) The breakfast area was a train wreck every morning. There was one woman who was in way over her head. Somehow with a sold out hotel she was not prepared to premade food for refilling and me and 45 of my closest friends were just standing around jostling for position so when the powder eggs came out hel we got a scoop. Waffle batter - out. Forks - out. Syrup - out. Orange juice - out. Was tough. One minute it was omelets, the next it was eggs. Front desk manager was nice - but overall this place needs some retraining when their remodel is done. read more

We were at the Hampton Inn this past weekend for 2 nights. There were 3 schools together, for a total of 16 rooms with 5 adults and 25 students. I contacted Priscilla weeks ago and she was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. She always responded very quickly, and was able to make the reservation process so easy and seamless, even though it was slightly complicated on our end. Upon arrival, we were able to meet Priscilla, and it was just like stopping at a friend's house. She greeted us so warmly, and was so helpful- as were all of the staff. Our rooms were all ready, with keys for everyone, and she had each school grouped together, which is important, but has been a problem at so many other hotels. We had everything we needed, and everyone was friendly the whole time we were there. The rooms were clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was great. It's unlikely I will be back in the area anytime soon, but if I am- I will stay at the Hampton Inn, and I will recommend it to friends. THANK YOU ALL! read more

I'll start by saying I've been staying at this Hampton for years. Each year I come to town for a hockey tournament and it's always been fine. This year was a mess. Fitness equipment all out of service, pool was Disgusting, no towels even after asking 3 times each time the answer was always "we should have in about an hour" even after hours of asking. We needed a place to stay for a quick overnight trip, and that's what we got. Given the same situation, I probably would stay here again, but here are the positives and negatives. Positives: the room felt clean. The shower was sparkly and looked freshly tiled, The room was certainly spacious enough for two people, and the bed was comfortable. Our interactions with the staff were mainly positive. Not outstanding, but pleasant enough. Negatives: it seemed like there were a few maintenance issues. The elevator, sadly, had been vandalized and not yet fixed. I cannot totally fault the hotel because I don't know how recently the vandalism had happened, but it was certainly apparent with the bent frame on the wall and the key marks all over the doors and walls. Coffee and breakfast supplies were a bit scant. Of the three times that I went to get coffee, twice the carafe was empty. In the evening the only milk that was available for the coffee was skim milk. Yuck. I understand that there have been supply chain issues, but they could at least run across the parking lot to the market and grab some half-and-half. There were only herbal teas available. When I asked for a black tea bag for my husband, the friendly man said that they did not have any. There were only herbal teas available. Breakfast was minimal. They had the typical eggs, sausage, and potatoes, and a waffle maker. There weren't as many other breakfast foods as one would normally find in a hotel of that type. Coffee, once again, was completely empty the first time, but was available when I went back 15 minutes later. In the end, the hotel gave me what I needed, but I wasn't blown away. I would stay here again if I needed a conveniently located hotel for a quick stop. I would not stay here for a longer period of time or if I was looking for a fun experience. read more

We were charge for a night we did not stay. I originally booked two days, Friday night and Saturday night, however, early Saturday morning our group realized we did not need to stay an extra night. We contacted the front desk, and both associates told us if we left then we would not be charged for Saturday night. They told us over the phone and in person when we arrived to collect our belongings. A few days later, I see a charge that was manually keyed for Saturday night. I tried calling multiple times, they claim they cannot refund it, but will give points to my Hilton honors account, which never happened. I continue to try to contact the manager, and somehow she is always sick, in a meeting, or busy. I disputed the charge as it is a false charge, and they need to hold their word. read more

Quite a few things to saw about this sorry excuse of a "Hotel" The breakfast. Never in my life have i seen such lousy options in the morning. I found a banana that was ROTTEN. No cups for the juice. HAD TO USE COFFEE CUPS FOR MY OJ. The food it self wasn't even remotely close to being relatively good. Before all of this we walked out of our room in the morning to go get "breakfast" and what do we stumble upon the SECOND we turn our heads? SEVERAL PIECES OF THE CEILING ON THE FLOOR. What is this the Titanic? We sinkin' here? Water dripping from the hole of the ceiling. The Front desk guy was a nut case but whatever. The only nice thing about this hotel is the staff. The room was reported to have nonfiction air conditioning, ceiling, fan falling off, and rooms are dirty. The hallway stinks, there are leaks in the roof, unsafe and broken furniture. We were told maintenance would be here Monday, 2 days later we're told there is no maintenance. We are long time Hampton Inn customers. This stay however was not up to the standard of what we have come to expect from Hampton Inns. Check in was great. Friendly courteous and helpful staff. Next day when we came back to the room, the room had not been made. With 4 of us in the room, we were short on towels. Called front desk, and they sent up a guy with 2 pool towels. Really? Sigh... Next morning on the way out, I reminded front desk person that our room needed to be tended to. They assured me it would. When we returned that night, to our surprise, the only thing addressed by housekeeping was the trash and towels. Comforters were just thrown over the wrinkled bed sheets, and pillows were scattered. There are clearly some gaps with housekeeping at this hotel. Could be management issues, or just one particular employee. Either way, we will be hard pressed to return to this property. Also, WiFi was very slow to connect and bandwidth was poor. Could not do my work. Thankfully had my hotspot! read more

This place had an amazingly friendly staff and is in a great location. The best employee was a gentleman named Les. He literally was the nicest person ever he had a big smile and so welcoming. While checking me in he informed me about the area on what things there were to do and where to eat. He also advised me on the offering that the hotel had like breakfast, a small concession area, fitness room and a few other amenities. The breakfast was actually pretty good. They had a make your own waffle station, a few warm catering options which were eggs and sausage. They offer bagels, yogurt and cereal. My friend and I stayed a in a suite for a weekend. The room was clean and had a full kitchen. The bed was comfy and well maintained. The sofa wasn't super comfortable however was bearable. Currently the hotel is doing a renovation and even with work being done I feel the quality of my stay was satisfied. A big thank you to Les for being awesome at his job! read more

Staff: the staff is probably the nicest hotel staff i have ever met. Stan at the bar is very attentive! He gave us recommendations of things to do and directions. Food at the restaurant is pretty good. I had the salmon $22 huge portions. Room: room is baller. Full length mirrors, glass showers (nice soaps and shampoo- neutrogena) there is a microwave, fridge, ice maker, snack room, (free cookies and water) gym, pool, laundry, library, spa. The rooms are huge. Bathroom is huge. Very very clean. Very updated. Nice flowers everywhere. Again the staff was amazing. Cleaning staff nice as well. They were friendly and accommodating. Get the hilton app. It makes everything so easy! This hotel is easy to find. Its literally right near everything. There is target, bjs, 24hr wawas, etc! Very safe area! read more

This place was pretty cool! It was like a mini apartment. In our room we had our own little kitchen with stove, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. They had a lounge couch and a pull out sofa bed. The bed was Queen size and very comfortable. The only thing that grossed me out was the bed skirt was kind of dirty in our room so it had me questioning about how sanitary the bed sheets were. Other than that this place was very centralized, it's near a Target (you could literally walk there), and they have a restaurant in the same plaza (Bob Dean's, I believe) and a gas station (WAWA) and a plaza filled with a lot of cool places (I saw a bank and I'm not sure what the rest of the places consist of but I'm assuming mom & pop restaurants, dry cleaners, nails and such) across the street. Oh yeah! They have free breakfast here until 10am but the orange juice and apple juice machine was down when I wanted some. Bummer! Will I be back here if I ever come back to Philly? Yes! read more

I visited this hotel for a convention at the Oaks Convention Center during the spring. It's a nice hotel; definitely convenient, with free breakfast on weekends, from 7 am - 10 am. The complimentary breakfast included eggs, sausage, milks & juices, coffee, bagels, pour-your-own waffles with premixed batter, and some more. All delicious and a great way to start your convention days! The hotel itself is nice and is in close proximity to many businesses; Bob Evans is right in the back (or front?) parking lot. The convention center, and its many restaurants, Target, movie theater, etc, are all within a four minute drive. The beds were nice and comfy. The room was kept clean by housekeeping. Nothing spectacular stood out; it was up to my expectations for what a hotel should be like. I guess if anything stood out, it would be a bad thing; fortunately, I have nothing negative to stay. The stay was cheaper with my AAA discount, so definitely take advantage of it, if you have it. There is a pool, but it first opens on Memorial Day; unfortunately, I was there a week or two before then, so no pool for me. The workout/exercise room is small, but suffices. One treadmill, one exercise bike, and a ski-machine were the large exercise equipment available for customer use. The room was lined with mirrors and had one inaudible television, but plenty of towels kept you dry. The water cooler was stocked, so that helped me keep hydrated, although the bottle of disinfecting wipes was empty and dried. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely stay the night at Hampton Inn. read more

Clean! This hotel is very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a king room with a sofa. Perfect room for a couple. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was good. Even though the hotel was booked solid with pool players, it was very quiet. We stayed in room 213, which I don't recommend unless you get up before 6. You can hear the breakfast crowd as the room is right above the breakfast area. If you belong to Hilton Honors, and you should if for no other reason than this, you can check in well ahead of time and choose your room with the app. If you are staying in this area, stay here. read more

Why do guests primarily use a hotel? To SLEEP. So when I get in to my bed at 2:00 AM and hang a 'Do NOT Disturb' sign on the door, why, from 8:00 AM on do I hear a member of the housekeeping staff going up and down the hallway knocking on each door and announcing herself? And how does she have the gall, nerve, and total lack of courtesy to knock on my door at 9:00 AM? I'd expect your staff to be able to read and write English, wouldn't you? I was LIVID. And what did the front desk do? AM I provided 100% satisfaction for the primary purpose I stayed at your hotel? No, I'm given $20 back. By the by, this happened on July 15, not the 12th, but I suspiciously did not receive a survey for THAT night. I wonder how many other guests' sleep was disturbed but somehow did not receive surveys. Horrible night. Bad overall stay. They placed a couple of guys in the room right next to our room. The guys were those "fighting drunks" that can spend hours banging on the walls, throwing stuff, cursing and spitting. Called to complain to front desk. Employee came up and made a feeble attempt to try to quiet them but informed the drunks that it was us who had made the complaint. Not surprisingly, the drunks made more noise and threats just to get back at us. The drunks never did fall asleep. Went down to the lobby in the middle of the night to complain, thinking that would be more effective than the call I had made. As a solution to the problem, the employee offered me some candy (yes candy). When I said "you've got to be kidding", the employee just walked away and ignored me. Didn't seem to care about what was happening. Did not get any sleep so couldn't wait to get out of that place, by dawn. Decided to hit the road with some food (breakfast) in my system. Don't know if it was because of the anger I was feeling but found the breakfast they serve to be cold, sloppily prepared, and tasteless. Was rolling my luggage out and finally leaving, passing by the front desk, when a different employee, this one named Jessica, called me and told me to step over. In order to "make up" for the bad stay, Jessica offered me a complimentary stay at any Hilton property. I had not asked for that and had never heard of that, but gladly accepted it believing that Jessica was sincere. Why didn't she just let me leave? Why did she rub salt in the wound by offering me something that was not real? Needless to say I never received any "complimentary" stay. I never even received an apology from the manager , Jerry. Follow up calls and emails were a waste of time. Both Jessica and Jerry ignored me. That was my first visit to Philadelphia and I will always remember it with a sour taste. read more

My only beefs: The inconsistency between Hampton Inn locations is maddening. - No sheers on windows! We were only here for one night but it was enough to make me a Hampton Inn fan. We had a late check-in and were exhausted but the front desk employee couldn't have been nicer. The room was immaculate, there were plenty of extra towels, the beds were SO comfortable, and everything was quiet. The free wi-fi and breakfast were icing on an already impressive cake. We had just come from NYC where we paid a lot more, had to beg for washcloths, and experienced a power outage and no hot water. The only two things I could've wished for at Hampton Inn were a refrigerator in the room (we had to throw out some food because we couldn't keep it cold) and better quality fruit at breakfast. But those minor quibbles weren't enough to dampen our experience. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! read more

The woman at the front desk, Robbin, was incredibly kind and helpful, asking us about our trip and what we wanted to do. In the morning we went to the buffet and they were out of eggs, but the lady working there went out of her way to get eggs, we didn't even have to ask! The room was gorgeous and perfect. This is one of the worst Hampton Inns I've ever stayed at. I don't think its run by Hilton directly. I believe its run by someone else who has to follow Hilton rules and regulations. CUSTOMER SERVICE First off. Before we checked in we asked for more towels during the online reservation. When I called up to see if there were available rooms for an early check in, The girl in the front desk wasn't very knowledgeable it seems. When we asked for more towels, the manager "LES" over heard us talking about it and told the girl to write down how many we need. My girlfriend and I have medical issues and we need extra towels.. Needless to say they told us they would bring it up in less than 30 min . After 30 min passed and no towel delivery , we called down to the front desk and I asked where they were and they said it would take 10 min.20 min passed and we called again asking. Finally they brought the towels up. It was HALF of the number we asked for during check in- even when she WROTE IT DOWN! I asked for the correct amount. 2 minutes later the phone rings and "LES" asked us in a suspicious tone " Uh How many people are staying there with you? We responded " TWO"- as it was just the 2 of us. Yeah, You are probably reading this and shaking your head. Les was the one who recommended the amount we asked for an insisted the girl write it down to make sure . Now he gets all suspicious that we are throwing a slumber party or something here? I never had this issue in any hotel around here before Not even at a Days Inn ! FOOD Also , there are no vending machines- just a little store downstairs. AIR CONDITIONER/HEATING This is low quality. Although the heat and air are comfortable, You cannot turn the air off- the fan keeps running even when you shut it OFF. Also the dial screen temp numbers were messed up( defective thermostat)Since you cant shut it down, you are forced to hear the fan running every waking moment. INTERNET The only upside they have a wireless repeater in the roomwhich appeared to supply a very good internet connection. I tested it myself and it seems pretty good for most hotels in the area Another thing to mention. We are an HHonors members with a GOLD status due to HIGH frequency of how often we stay at these hotels . In compensation, they are supposed to offer selected drinks and snacks. This particular Hampton limits you to ONE drink and ONE snack PER ROOM- NOT PERSON. We were 2 people staying here. We asked for extra and they flat out denied it. When we mentioned that this would not be an issue at hotel Hamptons we stayed at in the area, Les flat out answered "Well it is in THIS ONE!" How can they be this cheap?! We have been staying in other Hamptons in the area for a many years( at least once a month) and they a lot more generous to their Hhonors members rewards- thus gaining our customer loyalty . Not this place. BATHROOM The bathrooms are far too cramped in these rooms. Normally, if we stay at a hotel, we discard used and dirty towels under the sink. Most hotel room sinks have a large area under them for this purpose. The Hampton Oaks bathroom setup is impractical to discard the towels in any way. You cant even place many behind the toilet. What do you do with towels of a "certain" nature that need to be placed aside for collection later far away from you? There' s no place to put them! TV The room TVs are modified in such a way that you cannot control the TVs AT ALL from the unit itself- not even POWER. So if the remote breaks or the batteries are dead ,you have to get a new one. If I need to screen cast to a TV, and need to change video inputs ,I am out of luck at this hotel for my work. For those of you who have children who like to bring their gaming consoles along ,you better have a plan B! I have stayed in almost every decent hotel in the entire area and this is one of the only ones that does this. Also the rooms are extremely noisy- Every yell, cough, or door slam can be heard with the TV and air conditioner on Cheap. Suspicious. Paranoid. Impractical rooms. No thanks. We are never going back to the Hampton Inn oaks again. I will just go elsewhere where they treat customers better than this. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. read more

I am a Hilton honors member. I did the online check-in the day before and chose my room. I arrived at 4:30pm and was told by Les at the front desk that my room wasn't ready. Wait check in is at 3pm why isn't my room ready at 4:30? He tells me they are under staffed and can't find reliable people. Hey that isn't my problem. Pay your employees more and maybe they will be reliable. Anyway I am a guest I don't care I want my room. So after waiting about 40 mins and watching numerous people get checked in with no problem after me with the same type of room, I started to wonder why I was being singled out. Was it because I used my honors points for the room? Finally they tell me they have a different room to put me in and I am so annoyed by this time I say fine. I go up and no refrigerator in the room, the bed was the absolute worst I have ever stayed at. I may have been in an hourly rate motel with how bad the bed squeaked and banged the wall everytime I turned. It was so lumpy I kept rolling to one side. Towels were stained and bathroom looked like it had been only quickly wiped down. Terrible! I sum this up to that Hilton saves its worse rooms for guests who use their points. There is no other explanation. They should be ashamed. 100% happy guarantee...bull crap! I think I will start using a different brand of hotel from now on if this is how they treat their loyal customers. read more
