I cannot say enough good things about the service and care I have received from Skyler and his staff.

As long as the location was convenient, I figured it was good enough. I couldn't have been more wrong. Last year, my spinal surgeon referred me to Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center. I'm so grateful he did. At 75, after three major falls (thankfully with no broken bones), I knew I couldn't risk another. This place is different -- truly specialized care. First, the environment: Fyzical's facility is bright and uplifting, with energizing colors, clean furnishings, and modern equipment. Even on cloudy days, natural light fills the space. It feels like a private gym -- open, spotless, and welcoming. But what matters most is the care. Shane Polatis, PT, DPT, the Center Director, gave me a full, hour-long assessment -- not just checking my neck and back, but watching how I walked, stood, sat, moved my head, and balanced. It was by far the most thorough evaluation I've ever had. Every session is challenging but tailored to exactly what I need. Shane helped me realize my issues weren't just physical -- my vision and how my brain processes space needed retraining too. We're reprogramming how I move and react, especially when dizziness hits. It's a true team effort. In just 12 weeks, I've seen improvements I never thought possible, especially with my neck mobility. I've just been approved for two more months of therapy, and I'm genuinely excited to keep progressing. For the first time, I'm learning how to carry myself properly -- and safely. If you're serious about recovery, balance, and preventing future injuries, this is the place to go.

Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers offers what I refer to as "The next level of physical therapy"…read more In addition to providing the modalities found in most PT practices, Fyzical has what I consider to be a "next level" of care via their additional and comprehensive focus on solutions for dealing with patient balance challenges. The focus starts with comprehensive assessment and treatment plan relating to balance, and any other issues identified. The treatment process includes performing some exercises with closed eyes, but not to worry, as at Fyzical they have several strong tracks in the ceiling with strong ropes coming down that are attached to a comfortable upper body web harness. That harness gives me the confidence to things that I wouldn't do without it for fear of falling. Fyzical has software specifically designed to track patient balance progress and identify if a patient is "qualified" to move to the next level of care. Fyzical has multiple locations in the Las Vegas valley. One of their newest locations, where I'm receiving my care, is at 4794 S Eastern Ave. It's in the NE corner of the Eastern and Tropicanna intersection. The staff is outstanding. Shane Polatis, PT, DPT is the Clinical Director. Shane is a "glass half full (as opposed to half empty) person who is very positive, knowledgeable, friendly individual who communicates wonderfully. I've had a lot of surgery and balance issues in the past two decades, and thus a lot of PT. I've been very pleased with all of them, but Shane and one other DPT in another practice, are at the Super Star level and stand out from all the rest. Rebecca is the office manager 4794 S Eastern and handles a wide array of administrative responsibilities. The following anecdote provides insight into the mindset and helpfulness of Rebecca. Earlier this week my Lyft app was acting up and I was not able to place an order for a ride home. As I mentioned the problem to Rebecca, while trying to solve my problem, without a second of hesitation, Rebecca offered to use her Lyft app to call a ride for me. I'll of course reimburse Rebecca at my next visit. I was greatly appreciative of the offer and also impressed with Rebecca's quick thinking and effectiveness in making my problem go away. It is without qualification that I highly recommend Fyzical to friends and others. Those that have pursued the suggestion at a Fyzical location closer to their home or place of work have indicated not only a high level satisfaction but enthusiasm about the comprehensive high quality of care they are or have had at Fyzical.

I go to Kelly Hawkins on Charleston and Valley View. Having just entered the 90's in terms of…read moresocial media, I don't yet know how to change the address on Yelp. I tried to add a business yesterday and failed. So, I'm going old school and including the information in the body of the review. I attend the Central office. The address is 3831 West Charleston. You're going to want to take note of that, because this is the only one with an indoor pool. We lovingly call it, "the one with the pool". The pool makes a huge difference; but, it is not the main reason for the 5 stars. The therapists and assistants are talented, concerned, and attentive. When they are pushing me, I may be calling them some choice names in my head; but, when I can go out to dinner and leave my walker home, I'm singing their praises. My life has changed dramatically. Im grateful for their confidence and care. I'm grateful that I did not hear, "there's not much we can do until you lose 100 pounds". I have had continual input into my goals and readiness to add new exercises. I'm a fighter, that's for sure. A fighter needs a good corner. I have that with Kelly Hawkins. The staff is very attentive. They even noticed my new haurcut! It didn't get me out of the sit to stands or side steps; but it's nice to be noticed. I meet with my assigned physical therapist at every session. The staff who is not assigned to me still no more and remark on my progress. While they have yet to provide the parade or stickers they keep promising, I know my progress matters. I'm not exaggerating or being dramatic when I write that they helped to save my family and me. You need a referral if you are going through insurance. They do offer a program called Corporate Fit. This program allows you access to the gym and pool, as well as support and consult. I believe it is $40 a month for one person and $60 for a couple. Friends of mine used to drive me to pt and they were allowed to join me in the pool. They joined through Corporate Fit and love it. My husband works out with me when work permits. They are flexible and accomadting, especially with cancellations and rescheduling. You do have to bring your own towel; but if you firget, they lend you one. You will get some sass over it; but, you get the towel. You get the sass because the staff is young and energetic. It's never disrespectful and adds to the positive energy and feeling of acceptance. I think they offer massage, but I may be wrong. I get those at home from a super supportive husband, but that's a different review!

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.
