So my son came home from school and wanted a faux hawk and so I took him to were my husband usually goes to get his hair done and the woman completely butchered his hair so after seeing how upset my son was I called around and ended up coming here. From the minute we walked in we were taken care of. Reese was the one who fixed my sons hair and he was absolutely amazing, he made sure that my son was going to leave his chair with a smile on his face. He paid so much attention to detail and was so friendly to my son and I. When we came in the woman who had just done his hair shaved a part into his hair and it was horrendous, it wasn't straight at all but Reese made sure that it was going to look good by the end. He also did a fun design on the other side of my sons head so it looked intentional. He went above and beyond to make sure my sons hair was going to look amazing. When he finished fixing my sons hair it was the best feeling seeing how excited my son was. I will absolutely be coming back here. Went to heavier set light skin dude... big mistake buddy fucked my fade up sooo bad, one side was higher than the other and both sides were hardly faded... and to "correct it" he pushed my fade to the top of my damn head. line up was decent... Great service. Great cut. Would recommend 100%. Came as a walk in while in town and the barbers were great and very enjoyable to talk to.

Just came from there. I will never return! There was 2 barbers on duty and 1 customer before getting a hair cut. I signed in and sat for 40 minutes. Not once did either barber acknowledge my presence. Not a hello, welcome, not a can I help you. In fact it was more important for 1 barber to take his dog outside to go to the bathroom. Bring cash because even though it has the credit/debit placards on the door, they don't accept cards. (Though one of the barbers had a Square). Nothing in the shop let's someone know that they only accept cash. An ATM is onsite but I, for one despise paying ATM fees. If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible service! Waited an hour and thought we were going to to get my son's hair cut and they just kept passing us over. My son was in the seat and then took him out to take another guy. Then when the other guy was done I thought my son was next but again we got passed over. I found Tru-Skillz when searching yelp for a reputable barber shop. I finally made the decision from the pictures I saw that this shop had the most talented barbers. I looked through all the reviews and could only manage to find one negative. She complained that she had waited for an hour and her son was not attended to, watching others go before him even if they arrived after him. I also saw a review from the owner himself to book on styleseat.com for faster service. I didn't want to wait a long period of time so I took it upon myself to book an appointment for 3:00 with Phelix on Sunday, March 11th. My best friend (who was getting the cut) and I walked in 3 minutes til and signed in. We took a seat and tried to find his barber. Not only could we not find the barber but the four men who were cutting hair didn't seem to be close to finishing any of their clients. There wasn't many people getting their haircut but it seemed as though they went on a first come, first serve basis. One by one, they went down the line. Finally, at 3:18, my friend gets sat into a chair. The barber that took care of my friend was Cruz. As far as professionalism, this man deserves an A+. His communication was on par with the standards I had in my mind. He asked many questions and made sure that what he was about to do was what his client wanted. He looked over each stroke ensuring it was one of quality. Because of this we will be returning. We are very satisfied with the customer service he received while in this shop. Thank you, Cruz! As far as booking an appointment on styleseat, it's a total waste of time. I may call the shop myself to book an appointment and see how that turns out. I walked in. Only 2 barbers and neither said hello, we'll be with you, or anything remotely close to what you would call simple customer service and courtesy. Then after waiting for 30 minutes one barber got finished cutting a customers hair, he then proceeds to make a phone and ends up leaving. Oh and the number listed goes straight to voicemail. Okay so let me start off by saying they are horrible about appointments so when we first got here husband walked in and they sent him away and made an appointment for him he was okay with that so two hours later we come back and he waited literally and hour and a half to sit down for a haircut when he made an appointment to not have to wait more then an hour so they sent him away just so can come back to wait more then a whole hour that just made me so upset. Whatever I brushed it off so we COME BACK we made sure we made an appointment again ahead of time because we wanted to spend some family time since it's rare when my husband has anytime off to be with his family so at his appointment the guy was finishing up with another customer and omg he had to wait another hour and a half like what is the point of making appointment if they aren't going to stick to it if that's the case don't have people make appointment it's just so frustrating since now we wasted two hours of valuable time to us anyway this is the last time we will be returning here read more
