My dad hired this company to move a couch from his home in SLC to mine in Layton. 2 movers came and the older man was being extremely rude and bossy to the younger man. While moving the old couch out from my den, the younger man was trying to be careful to not break the glass sliding door and expressed his concern to his co-worker as he did not want them to be liable for damages. The older man was very grouchy and just kept telling him to hurry up and get it done. But that is not the worst part. The older man was so frustrated that he decided to write the words, "f**k you on the armrest of my couch! They never ended up moving the old couch to the second floor and we discovered the words written in pen the next day while moving it ourselves! I'm positive it was the older man since he was the only mover left for a few minutes alone while we showed the other guy where we needed to move the couch. We have submitted a complaint to the company, sent them a photo, and were told they would investigate the issue and get back to us. It's been 4 days with of being told they'd let us know. Today they are no longer answering our phone calls at all. I would warn people about using this company if anything goes wrong. They are very unprofessional. They are not willing to work with customers and would rather ignore you than solve the issue. I will be looking into filing a claim with my homeowners insurance in the near future. read more

This company started out late for one thing and never could get a hold of them they had to get an extra truck to move our things to St George they quoted us a price for the extra truck and then proceeded to take our deposit and not take it off our balance because they had to transfer our things to another truck. Late again getting to our house and broke inside of our fridge and lost a lot of our things when transferring to another truck. They said they found a couple of the things lost and now we can never get a hold off them to get them back. Fraudulently charged our card without authorization. This place is a nightmare!! read more

WARNING! DO NOT USE!!! What a nightmare! One of the shadiest, most unreliable, and unprofessional businesses we have ever dealt with. Reading all the negative reviews, there are so many similarities to our experience. Positive reviews must be left by friends, family, employees, or bots. They showed up 2 hours late and 1 person short. They did not bring the supplies that we confirmed multiple times over the phone they would be providing. They improperly packed stuff resulting in breakage and damage. They are NOT INSURED and despite documenting all damage and submitting a claim per their instructions, they just kept giving us the run-around and never took responsibility. They did not follow COVID protocols as advertised and confirmed to us over the phone (this was during the peak of the pandemic). The two workers kept arguing and at one point the new guy just stopped working and went and sat in the truck. When it was finally over, we felt like we were being held hostage in a way as the workers would not leave until we paid and at this point it was midnight due to how unprepared and unprofessional they were. **DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS! THE OWNERS WRITE THEM!!** Too bad I'm forced to give one star to leave a rating. Please avoid these people at all costs and hire a reputable company that does not have a history of hiring criminals and thieves. Tru Solutions Moving LLC was recommenced to me by U-Haul in Bountiful, UT in May 2019. I contacted the company and spoke with Larry who sounded professional at the time. The day before my move, "Michelle" a.k.a Tyler (the owner) asked if they could come and move my things an hour early on moving day (May 30, 2019). I told her no and that I would keep my original time of 3:30. The day of the move, Casey (one of the guys who stole my designer handbags) called me and asked if he and his crew could come and move my things 3 hours early because they had time in between jobs. I told him no and told him they could come at 3:30. These guys (Brandon, Kristerpher or Kris, and Casey) stole 3 designer handbags which contained personal items such as jewelry, checkbooks, and designer sunglasses! I alerted the moving company and they did nothing about it. The "owner" of the company still has not contacted me to even so much as ask about the theft on part of her employees or anything! Larry called me 2 weeks ago on Friday to disclose that Tru Solutions has released the identity of the guys on the moving job to police, yet he and the other owners of the company has failed as a bonded and insured company to file a claim with their insurance company, provide me with their insurance information, or tried to resolve this issue with me on any level! Please stay away from them as Larry has also admitted that the company hired a convicted felon last year who stole 5 pairs of Jordan Nike's on a Moving assignment, yet Tru Solutions complied with police in releasing information about this employee as well as filed an insurance claim on behalf of the victims so that they could repurchase the tennis shoes. The total amount of goods Tru Solutions employees stole from me are well over the value of 5 pairs of Jordans! Please also note that Larry is one of the owners of the company and is the boyfriend or fiancé of the other owner of the company, Tyler McFarland. Also, please be mindful and do your due diligence on how this company will ignore your phone calls when you have any type of issue with them...the information is all over the internet-don't just read the fake reviews their friends and family write for them on this site and others. The owner, Tyler McFarland, is a very shady criminal and currently has criminal history documented with the police-please do not hire Tru Solutions Moving! Larry is now harassing me but will not file an insurance claim, this may be because they are not a bonded and insured company as they advertise! I used them last October, and it was a good expierence. This time, I couldn't be more horrified. They worked me in quickly, which was nice. However, a new crew came out to load my property and box up the house. They were set for 8-830AM and showed after 10AM. More than half the crew smelled like burnt marijuana and one guy was clearly high and laughed histerically the whole morning. They did not sticker or invetory boxes, and then ran out of boxes and tape; I bought more tape (which was not creditied to me) and they left to get boxes which took forever (and I paid for that time). They slowly loaded up my property in unsecured boxes, didn't use enough wrap/blankets (torn up table tops, gashed leather, etc.), they dropped a box of collectables and left it on the ground by the trash instead of telling me, they left empty water bottles all over my home, and because it was a long day and they were ready/rushed to leave, they left before taking down some things like the TV in my exercise room. As a side note, I packed the entire house with the exception of storage room and garage. When unpacking at my new place, some guys were good/decent, but mostly more of the same (without the marijuana this time). We found out much of our furniture was damaged because not wrapped or done properly, we are missing boxes, some of the food items packed by them were put in boxes with our chemicals or squished under heavy items, they lost all the bolts to my child's bed and broke some boards on another, they lost the brackets to mount a mirror to a dresser, to hurry and unlead they started putting all boxes in the garage insted of the rooms in the house written on the boxes (clothes and food left outside so I spent a day going thorugh boxes to bring inside), our dryer vent and bracket was left at the old house and the washer left not hooked up. We were told that instead of a discount for the problems we have had, they would come back the next morning to fix the beds and dryer issue and that they would start a claim for the damaged property, no one showed up and they stopped answering our calls. We spent the weekend making new bed supports for one bed and purchasing materials to hookup the dryer (had a neighber help hook it all up). Horrible experience. Do not use Tru's Moving Solutions. I scheduled help 1.5 weeks in advance and they did not reach out or contact me at all. The day before the move I tried to verify the time and address with them and they did not reply. The day of the move they did not show up. I called them multiple times and they just gave excuses and never showed up, no calls, horrible customer service. Never use this company. read more

This has nothing to do with the actual movers and everything to do with their leadership. I was encouraged to have 3 movers and that it would not cost extra. Movers finished and someone called me to make a payment. Surprise, surprise it is more for 3 movers. Our move couldve been done with 2 movers. Our movers accidentally put a hole in our wall (no big deal, it was a accident) so I called Larry the next day. He asked me to send pictures to an email address and that "they will make this right". Few days go by and I had no response so I call again. He said they have a guy that will come out in two days (friday) or early part of next week. We left to travel only to comeback with nothing fixed, no communication of when someone would be out, etc. I called again.. only this time I could not get through from my cell. The second I called from another number, Larry picked up. " oh oh yeah, our guy has been busy, he will be calling you here shortly". Another WEEK goes by and still NOTHING. Long story short. Larry is a liar and lacks the ability to be organized. He would rather ignore your phone calls then to address the problem. I RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I agree with the other one-star reviewers. this company completely failed me on moving day. I had scheduled them to arrive at 12:30 pm. When they didn't arrive by 2:00 pm, I called, only to be told they would be there in a couple hours! As I needed to return my truck (26ft) to rental company that night, I began to unload my belongs myself, as I'm from out of state and don't know anyone. When the movers didn't show up at 4:00 pm, I called again, only to be told they would be there in an hour. That was the last I heard from them. I called back multiple times from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm only to be sent to their voicemail. Not one return phone call, not one apology for never showing up, and thank goodness some neighbors saw my plight and started helping me at 8:00 pm. I finished at 10:00 pm after spending all day moving by myself! This company is unreliable and their commitment to you cannot be trusted. read more
