Lost Over $5,000 Due to This Company!!!! ***Review for atlasmovingcompany.co*** formerly atlasmovingcompany.com, in Utah I hired Atlas Moving Company in December 2025 and the experience cost me over $5,000 in total losses. Here is the breakdown: Initial payment for services: $2,000 (company failed to complete move, didn't finish apartment clean, left behind bedroom furniture) Property destroyed by rat infestation: $2,500 (caused by company storing garbage near my belongings) Key replacement: $300 (company failed to return my car, house and mail keys) Additional storage costs and gauging: Stored my items in unauthorized storage unit, Apex Storage, and failed to obtain my permission to do so. They failed to place my name with Apex, and Apex denied me access to my belongings. The company withheld my property for weeks and I had to file a police report to track down my belongings and get them returned. When they were returned, extensive damage had occurred due to rats attracted by improperly stored garbage. Public records show the company was **dissolved** by the State of Utah during our transaction, and only reinstated after police involvement. The company has been unresponsive to my attempts to resolve this matter. Litigation pending ... warning ... they've branched into Idaho, beware Idaho!! This has been an expensive lesson. Have hired Atlas moving company three times and they have been outstanding 3 times. Most recently worked with Jesse and Brian and they were super organized, very polite, worked their butts off and didn't break a single thing. These guys moved me back in March and I've continually tried to get a hold of them since the day of the move because they broke my lamp and desk and i've heard nothing back. which is super convenient since they were SO responsive prior to the move additionally i had scheduled my move for a friday and the truck broke down and they couldn't move me until the next day which delayed everything in my life and i had to reschedule several things read more

Worst movers!!! After unpacking for over a month and still can't find items. We had a box that stated shoes. Not one shoe in the box. We did end up with someone else's furniture too. So much damage done. Sad to pay big bucks and have so much damage. Some glass items not even wrapped and protected. I recently hired Atlas Moving Company for a two-day moving service. While the movers were respectful on site, there were significant issues that impacted my experience: 1. Incomplete Service: The truck broke down on the first day, resulting in incomplete services. Key tasks like reassembling furniture at my new home were not done. 2. Refund Disagreement: I was offered a $195 refund (because furniture was not assembled as agreed upon) conditional upon signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which I was not comfortable with. I believe a larger refund was warranted due to the extent of incomplete services. ($5700 full service move St. George to Ogden) 3. Communication Challenges: There were misunderstandings about service details and refund terms. I found it difficult to come to a mutual understanding with the company regarding these issues. My moving bid was 5k over what they had quoted me. I even had less items than my original inventory list. They screwed me over! I would have gone with a lower price option if that were the case. The movers themselves were nice, though they knocked some Sheetrock off my handrail and broke a leg on a valuable buffet table during the move. My main beef is with the owner. The travel charges were misleading and I was charged nearly double what I expected. BEWARE: travel charges start when they leave the shop and stop when they return. They pride themselves on honesty and no hidden charges, but... make sure you read the fine print before signing up!! After working with the mover, they agreed to remove half of the travel fee, but then confused the math and ended up charging me anyways - because I had already paid the deposit, which was conveniently forgotten about in the discussion about TOTAL charges. Guys were really nice and hard working, though packer insisted in trying to get everything packed in 1 load even though I told them it would not fit. It was obvious that the other employees also agreed with me, as the loader was heard saying, "you guys still think I cant do it all in one trip". In the end reality sank in and I was asked what the "Priority items were". I then reiterated that the new house was only 3 miles down the road and we were wasting time trying to "prioritize" when we could just make 2 quick trips. In the end we wasted at least an hour trying to pack everything in one trip. Overall the move was pleasant and I don't have any major complaints. Only a couple of things had slight damage, to be expected in a move. I would only recommend that anyone be firm in making multiple trips if the new home is that close. These guys are awesome. I am SUPER picky (self admitting) when it comes to customer service. These guys honestly knocked it out of the park. I have a ton of old, heavy and delicate wooden items that are pretty tough to move (why I hired them). They showed up on time, all the movers were on point and I had no issues at all. Everything was moved timely and nothing broke, was scratched or damaged in any way. On the management side Steven gives it all to you up front, there weren't any extra fees or any crap last minute, it was exactly what he said it would be, I appreciated that. Not only are they professional, friendly and very responsive on the phone, they are HARD working guys. This has been my best experience with movers ever. (Six full moves before this one.) All the guys were great but Jesse and TJ exceeded my expectations. Super careful with my high end furniture being very aware not to scratch or dent things. They somehow managed to get an entire 26' truck into my 10x20 storage unit by using their super Tetris abilities and spider monkey like maneuvering. Prices were fair and reasonable with and no surprises and NO HIDDEN FEES. I recommend these guys 100%. Not only were the rates, reasonable and straight forward, but Steven also worked with me and my last-minute changes to find guys to assist with moving items from my townhome to my U-pack pod location. The young me were punctual, knowledgeable, respectful, and PROFESSIONAL...which goes a LONG way with me! I received services that I didn't even expect. We needed to move a whole home across town. It was a big job. Atlas came and did an estimate to get the day set up and organized. They calculated 4 guys for 8-10 hours and that's what it took. There were no surprise charges, no extra fees for moving a piano or anything else. They were polite and hardworking. They asked where to put each box and put them exactly where we needed them to be. If something needed to be moved again, they did so with a great attitude. They were happy to help and fast workers too. Those guys are strong! We couldn't have done it without them. We were so grateful to have their services...there is no way we could have moved by ourselves. If we have to move locally again, we will be calling Atlas Movers again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to be moved professionally with attention to detail. They didn't damage our new home moving items in either. Our move was somewhat complicated and overwhelming--it entailed 2 trucks, 5 men, and pickups at 2 locations and unloading at a third. Doing this within our working budget was also a big concern. The owner was very helpful in suggesting various things we could do ourselves to streamline the process and cut down on the total number of hours. It worked! They finished the job in 6 hours, plus travel time. The guys hustled and worked hard. They were careful with our things, protected them, and secured them in the trucks.
