If you want to surprise-pay almost double what they originally say it'll cost, get your walls significantly damaged and then catch them in attempting to cover it up, get lied to by the owner/head mover (hi Larry!), your tip made fun of, promised reparations ("A handyman will come! We'll refund your measly tip!"), and then NOTHING happen, your calls rejected, your texts un-answered, and your emails bounced back, then this is the moving company for you. No job is too small and no job is too big to be scammed by Larry and his crew. Believe the bad reviews. This business is SHADY. Look them up on the BBB (Better Business Bureau), where I'm also filing a complaint. This experience compounded my loss of trust in humanity and I don't know how this team can look themselves in the mirror, especially Larry. PS: BBB says they lapsed in their insurance payment, so they are NOT insured like they claim. My only relief is that they were hired to move just one item. You get what you pay for! TruSolutions Moving Utah more like AmateurSolutions Moving! Larry King is an immature no accountability havin scum bag!. They are inexperienced, and beat the hell out of my furniture in a three block one bedroom apt move. Do Not use Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp to pay these crooks! They do it so you can't cancel the payment once they've screwed you over. They'll over charge org quoted time then "offer" 10% off if you use one of those apps. It's actually smart on their behalf but they are protecting themselves knowing that most of their customers would cancel due to the low level of service. I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Tru Solutions. I had hired this company to assist with moving from my rented apartment to my first owned condo but ended up having to deal with damaged walls in the apartment, scratches all over my leather couch, Chair and had 2 "missing" boxes that were mysteriously found after I had video footage of them getting onto the moving truck. I had called the Larry and asked if he had seen the missing boxes because they were small enough to be looked over. He told me that he searched the truck three times and went on about how they wouldn't have taken them, which I had never even accused them of. He called me the next day, said he had checked again, and no boxes were found. so I told him I was going to take a look at the security footage to see if I could find where they went. After telling him this, he accused me of lying about my missing boxes and trying to get something for free,which is a child's response. Zero accountability Obviously, I still checked the footage of the move and clearly saw them loading the missing boxes onto the truck. I gave the driver a call, told him the boxes made it onto the truck but not into my house and sent him photos showing it being loaded in. He called me back a few short hours later all of a sudden, he had found the missing boxes in an unopened boxed he found and told me he was on his way to drop them off to my place. When he arrived, he literally said to me "here is your shit" to which I asked why he was the angry one and he responded "you've been a headache for me ever since you mentioned your scratched leather couch to my coworker." Which at this point I'm convinced this coworker is his wife Tyler and I assume she gave him hell about another move done unprofessionally and lazily, without using blankets and screwing up customers things. At no point did he apologize or even admit he was wrong. Instead he chose to gaslight and create a narrative where it was my fault HE left my boxes on his truck and clearly lied about looking for them. He was completely overtaken with emotional rage and I actually felt like he wanted to fight me. Seeing an adult with this low level of accountability and self respect is just sad. What was supposed to be an exciting new time in my life has now been tarnished with this terrible experience, leaving me with more stress and damaged furniture.Absolute TERRIBLE experience. I hired them to assist me with a move, I was pushed back for 2 days and was then forced to move my entire household without help. This Wouldn't have been as bad if I didn't wait for their help for 2 days before they told me that I wouldn't receive any help. They were also pretty tough to get a hold of and never call when they say they will. I tried to go to their physical location and the place they have listed isn't there. The movers themselves were phenomenal and I absolutely loved their support. I bought them pizza as well. I had a mirror damaged in transit and they agreed to fix it (which I was fine with). My real issue was with Larry in the office. After my move he called and asked me how the movers did and I told him they were great and I asked for a timeline on when they could have the mirror fixed, and for a breakdown on the charges since they were not what we agreed to - and all of a sudden he got SUPER defensive and started verbally attacking me over the phone and he kept mentioning over and over again that he was a professional athlete (as if I should be scared of him or of a physical threat to me). I felt very threatened and it got waaaay too personal for me. He became super defensive when I had asked him about all of the extra charges and said that I was being disrespectful to him (when I definitely wasn't, I don't have it in me to be disrespectful to anyone!). Anyone who has met me would be surprised if I were to be accused of being disrespectful. The call was recorded and you can tell exactly where his emotions flipped, and he just kept going. I told him it was becoming a bit too personal for me and that I was going to end the call if he didn't stop and I had to hang up because he didn't. Everything was so great and I really appreciated all of the help, but my conversation with Larry makes me scared and hesitant to ever use them again or to recommend them to anyone because now I feel like my safety is at risk. I'm posting this review here just in case. I emailed them after the call and said don't even worry about the mirror anymore. The mirror was unique and expensive, but it's definitely not worth any threats or THAT level of defensiveness... my goodness! And just to be clear, I would totally give this company a five out of five if it weren't for Larry. He became unprofessional and totally lost it on the phone and made it personal, which was definitely not necessary. To whom it may concern, I am messaging in regards to a recent move we had assist with for 3 hours. It was a short move as their was barely a garage full of boxes stuff and bed to move to another unit in the same complex. I would like to provide some feedback regarding the movers. I am grateful y'all were able to provide assistance with a last minute hands on help. However, I do have some concerns. First, my biggest issue is that one of our flat screen TVs was damaged and no longer works after being moved. Me and my boyfriend started unpacking and settling in after a long out of state drive move to Utah; we noticed their was a giant crack in the living room TV and the screen no longer works properly, when plugging it in their is extensive black out damage on the screen. I would like to be reimbursed for the damages as this was caused by the movers you all provided. Secondly, I was overall displeased with Tru Solutions Moving. Their was minimal items to be moved and ample amount of time, I even presumed they would be finished early and get paid for the full 3 hours. The boxes were labeled and I instructed the movers to what room they should be moved to in the new unit. However, mostly everything was moved to the new units garage. I hired movers being this is a trilevel townhome and we had just moved from out of state and were in a temporary unit until moving into our new one. The only items that were moved from the garage were a light full size bed, dresser, 2 TVs, and clothes that were in bags on hangers. I still thanked and tipped the employees for their time. However, I am overall dissatisfied and appalled at the poor job done plus a broken television was the breaking point and we could no longer overlook the lack of professional performance and lack of care for our belongings. It was no way worth the $375+ spent for a half done job and broken appliances. Lastly, I was told my $50 deposit would go toward the movers and I was never refunded that amount nor was that credit applied. This was a rip off and joke of a company. This company was nuts! the 4 guys showed up with a truck (early)... but they had nothing to move furniture. No gloves, no straps, no furniture movers, no water (it was hot, I thought they were gonna die) - so I provided water and protein drinks. When they took apart my bed the REALLY took it apart, they removed all brackets and lost one of feet, and then they put the brackets back upside down and backward, I kicked them out and did it myself. It was a nightmare, they seemed like they were trying but had never been trained. My walls were damaged, furniture broken, and they pulled all the electrical out of my grill as they dragged it across the lawn. They could not even drive the truck properly they were afraid to bring it up my driveway and left it in the street and pushed all my furniture up my steep driveway. Then when they called for payment all 4 guys were standing there, (and I am a single female living alone... and now they know where I live)...so I said they did OK and made the payment. I tipped on the credit card and told them I tipped on the credit and they all said they would never get the tip now. I called back to let the company know what really happened. I was told someone would call me and they would document the problems... nothing but crickets. So the movers were nice, but incompetent. The company does not care about service, just getting paid, and apparently steals tips from its workers (who are NOT trained). And because they were not trained (I could have gotten better movers with a 12pack and some pizza) it basically took them 6 hours to do a 3 hour job. The company is deceptive and awful. I had them move several items out of my parents home mid August. With the exception of the team lead Justin who was amazing, the helpers were inept. I reached out to the manager about the price that was charged later that day once the move was completed. He disclosed all the extra fees that were being charged - none of which were mentioned in the initial phone quote which was also inaccurate. We agreed on a settle on a final price of $1,100 and the credit card was charged $1,325. I take responsibility for not getting a quote in writing and so I am to partly to blame on this. Because of this will not be calling to resolve the credit card issue. However, I encourage anyone who uses this company to make sure all details including the extra fees are disclosed in writing. The knowledge I learned from this experience is invaluable as I deal with companies in the future. I expect a denial from the manager as a response to this review but everything I have stated it accurate and true. read more

READ!! This company is the perfect example of why you should read reviews before you book. Horrible experience. Move was scheduled for 11-1pm. At 1 I received a text saying my time had been rescheduled to 1-3. At 3:30 when no one had showed I called & was told they had just come on shift didn't know what was up and would call back. Called back & said they were short handed but a crew was in the neighborhood & would be over in 15 min. 15 min later I get a text saying they are on their way & would arrive within 15 min. At 4:10 the truck shows and the driver apologized for being late delivering our mattress. We told him we weren't waiting for a delivery, we were waiting to be moved. He said he didn't know that, dispatch had told him to deliver this mattress to us and then him & his crew would be done. They had spent the full day at another house moving them so were expecting to go home. They agreed to move us. (2) fridges, (1) half size freezer, table & (8) chairs, BBQ, patio furniture & a bedroom unit that we had already taken apart, it just needed loaded. We were only moving 2 miles away so figured their minimum of 2 hours was plenty for the move when we booked it. All they did was put the furniture in the rooms and the patio furniture on the driveway. No set up was required as we were already way over our 2 hours and I wasn't going to pay even more to have them carry the furniture to the patio in the backyard. 3-1/2 hours later they finished. The 2 movers were very nice but slow. I'm sure this is because they were exhausted after doing a whole house move earlier in the day. I was shown an itemized bill on his cell phone & given a Venmo address to send my payment. I then had to sign his phone in like 4 places. I asked what I was signing as all I could see was the page with the signature line. I was told it was just standard stuff saying they finished. I asked for a receipt as the person I Venmoed was not a business but just a lady's name. He told me the itemized receipt along with my signatures would be emailed to me shortly. I never received a receipt. I have written to the company 3 times now asking for an itemized receipt and have not received anything. They won't respond or send me a receipt. As you can see I'm not the only one that has had these problems with them. Stay away. Hire a professional company or better yet, rent a u-haul & hire the neighbor kids. read more

If you are crazy enough to use this company after reading about so many bad experiences at least do these things to protect yourself and your belongings... 1. Ask to see their terms/contract days ahead of the move to make sure you are comfortable with it. IE only $25 per item they damage or break. 2. Make sure the truck is the right size for the job. A single 26 ft truck will not fit more than about 1500-2000 square feet of items. 3. Don't just do a 3 man crew. Get 5-6 movers. 4. Make sure you see an itemized invoice before paying. Ask them to include both your deposit and CC service charge fees. Add up the invoice line items yourself and don't just accept the final number. 5. You keep track of start, stop, and break length times. 6. Watch out for padded hours, slow working, hidden fees, and unmentioned charges like "material fees". 7. If your move goes more than 1 day they will keep charging you the truck travel fee each day even if it stays in your driveway. 8. Watch the process like a hawk and give orders so that your items of furniture are wrapped correctly, that they watch the walls, door frames, and ceilings as they move furniture. You likely need 3-4 adults on your end to oversee everything at once - wrapping, moving, packing truck. 9. When they unload, same thing. If you don't catch every box coming in to direct the location don't be surprised if boxes wind up in totally wrong rooms and on wrong floors. Not just a few, but A LOT of boxes. 10. Be prepared for their employees (contracted) who haven't been paid to show up on your doorstep wanting payment from someone. Know that this company has an F rating (lowest possible) with the Better Business Bureau. Good luck. read more

What I order 3 hours of work for 4 men with equipment (hand truck) and boxes to pack my tv's and appliances into a pod to move across country they were schedule to arrive between 930-10 am. What I got the packers did not arrive until around 1 pm and when my wife kept calling to find out where they were at the operators were surprised that they were not there. When they finally did arrive 3 hours late they showed up with 3 men and no equipment or boxes. They were told they were unpacking and not loading. Fine my wife calls and the individual she talked too is rude and unhelpful and offers to send another crew out tomorrow which we cant do because moving across country. So great off to Lowes I go to buy a hand truck and some boxes for T.V's. less than 2 hours later the movers are sitting in their car in our driveway with nothing else to do or so they say. We spent another hour finishing loading the pod. They destroyed the trim in one of my rooms and were late and unprepared for the job we had for them. Great no issue if they had charged us correctly. They charged us the full rate they quoted us for 4 men and equipment and when my wife called they did not answer and she left a message. 2 days later I have to call 4 times to finally speak to someone and apparently they only overcharged us 100 dollars. 4 men, equipment, boxes for 3 hours 725 dollars. 3 men, 3 hours late and totally unprepared to move my stuff for less than 2 hours 625 dollars factor in the equipment I had to buy for them to do the job and it's the same price as above. I am having to go through my credit card company to fight this fraud of a company. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Worst service experience I've ever had. When the movers did not show up for my 9am move, I contacted Tyler and she said I wasn't on the schedule for that day. She agreed to send another crew. They managed to get one block from my apartment and their truck broke down. I had to wait until they sent another truck. In the mean time, no work was being done by the two movers. They could have been bringing down items to the lobby while awaiting the new truck but instead they disappeared. They later tried to charge me for work from the 9am start time. When they finally got to work, they didn't bring any padding with which to wrap the furniture. They only wrapped things in plastic wrap. While this didn't bother me for most items (upholstered), I insisted that they wrap my expensive bamboo bedroom furniture. Instead of putting the pad on then wrapping it in plastic, they did just the opposite. We later found out that they took the pad off the furniture once it was in the truck and used it for other furniture. Of course, there were chips and scratches to each piece. While moving items from my apartment, one of the movers discovered various law enforcement items in my room and asked if my fiance was a cop. I told him that I was and he responded that I'd probably arrested him a couple of times before. The final result of this horrendous experience was that all three bedroom pieces were scratched or chipped. Three pieces from a desk and bookshelf were missing. A leg was broken off an antique chest (the movers had placed the broken piece on the kitchen counter without telling us about it). Eight days after moving, they finally found two of the missing three glass pieces. They said they couldn't find the third piece but it's pretty apparent that they simply broke it since the pieces were all packed together. I spoke with Tyler regarding all of the problems and she seemed uninterested in resolving any of them, even being dishonest about the proper per hour charges. She later refused to answer phone calls from me. I sent her photos of the damage along with a receipt for the broken glass and she said she'd send it to the claims department. Never heard back. Called and spoke to another person who also said she'd get back to me. Never did. I moved on May 3rd. No resolution on July 2. The end result is that I'm preparing to sue the company in small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will damage your property, overcharge you then completely ignore your complaints. read more

They show up with this huge ass truck that has a electronic ramp on the back, which definitely slows down the entire moving process. (On purpose) They quote you a lower price in the beginning, then drag out the moving time so you end up paying double the quoted price. Plus I was told that they have insurance, which is absolute joke. The movers were nice, but they weren't gentle with my things; I was told they're professional movers with years of experience. My loveseat was damaged, but hopefully nothing else. They drove so ridiculously slow, which was also intentional, as they get paid by the hour. The chic that answers the calls has really poor attitude and customer service. After calling to complain about the situation, they demanded that I pay before the truck would be unloaded. Yes, I wasn't happy, and she wasn't pleasant to speak with; she had nothing but excuses. They have you sign a form saying nothing was damaged, but how does anyone know that when everything is boxed up. This place is a joke, which I wouldn't recommend using them for your move. Dishonesy. Don't trust Tru Solutions! They're fraudulent, aren't insured, and won't work with you if you have problems after your move. Tru Solutions moving company helped us move from an apartment to a single family home. It was a team of three movers. They lifted objects over 50 pounds by themselves, neglectful of care to our items. One man moved our 70 inch TV by himself, grabbed the top edge of the TV, grabbed hard and smashed the TV screen. We've been trying to get in contact to fix this through their main phone line, each time being told we'd receive a call back tomorrow to no avail. They tell us they started a claim with their insurance. It's been two weeks now and they haven't reached out to us. The only time I can reach them is when I call their main line but when I ask them for an update they won't give us any solid answers when I call them. Their website states they're fully insured but when I ask for the claim number and their insurer, they don't tell me the information. This company is not insured, they're fraudulent, and they're not to be trusted with your move. read more

I booked this company for a moving truck unload three weeks in advance of my move from another state. I was supposed to be the very first appointment of the day, as I had a friend here to help me in the morning before flying back to Cali that evening and I had to return the truck by 2:00 pm. Tru Solutions did not show up. When I called, they said they were short handed and would be at my place in a couple hours. No one showed up, no one called. This ended up going on all day long, with a promise of someone coming and no one coming or calling. I was given a "guarantee" via text message that they would "definitely" be there that evening. Nope! Not only that, at no time did anyone actually reach out to me, I was contacting them. Finally, they just stopped responding altogether. This company cost me $150 in an extra day of the rental truck and I was forced to find some random guys off Craigslist at the last minute to unload the truck into my new apartment. Since they weren't actual movers I am now stuck with all my things just dumped into my place, things not even carried upstairs where they should have been, resulting in an extreme amount of extra work and difficulty, as I am a single woman having to now do everything on my own in a new city/state. On top of it all, they had the audacity to charge my credit card $75 as a deposit and I had to call to have it refunded (we'll see if that actually happens.) I'm sure if they actually provide the service they are probably great, but the fact that they so flippantly screwed me over so completely is outrageous! They deserve 0 stars and, frankly, if they don't have reliable employees maybe they should consider a different line of business. My husband had hired them to move my son. They we're supposed to arrive between 9:30 & 10:30am. We received an email stating the time has changed and they would now be there between 8:30 - 9:30am. They were supposed to call 40 minutes prior & when they hadn't called by 9, we called them to see what the schedule was. Someone answered and said they were running 30 minutes to an hour behind because they had been working late last night. By 10:30, we still hadn't heard from them, so tried calling again and a nobody answered. Left 3 voice mails within the next 2 hours. It is now 8pm and we still haven't heard from them. Short story, DO NOT USE! THEY ARE DISHONEST AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR HOUSE AND FURNISHINGS AND WILL REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT. AND THEN THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!!! Long story.... this was by far the worst moving experience I've ever had. I have never worked with such dishonest people that will lie to you to get your money at all costs. We originally had a different mover scheduled to move us from West Jordan to Layton but our moving date got pushed back and they were no longer available. So we found Tru Solutions on Google and with an almost 5 star rating, we called and paid a $100 deposit to reserve them for our move. They quoted us around $1k to move our 3,600 sqft house with two trucks in one day. Fast forward to our moving date, they were three hours late. They were able to get both trucks packed up but refused to deliver the contents to our new house because it was too late (even though they showed up THREE HOURS LATE!). We ended up having to rent two hotel rooms for our family of 6 since they refused to come to the new house to even unload mattresses. That night at the hotel I received an email with a bill for $3,200 (remember we were quoted $1,000). I ignored it and assumed that I would pay at the end of the move once I knew that everything was moved and not damaged. The next morning the movers refused to drive my belongings to my house unless I paid the $3,200; essentially holding my belongings hostage for payment. At this point, I had no idea what the condition of my items were and if I would even see them. I felt that I had no other choice but to pay and then they came and delivered the items. They headed back to West Jordan to pack up another load. They ended up taking three days with two trucks and still left some larger items that I later had to arrange to get moved. They completely scratched/gouged up my American Cherry wood floors at my new house moving a fridge that cost over $7,000 to repair. They lost bolts to several of our beds that we had to replace. They destroyed my son's bunk bed by pulling apart slats that were not meant to be pulled apart. They lost parts for our swing set that we had to replace. They were supposed to install the swing set at our new house, something we specifically asked them about, but that didn't happen and we had to pay Lifetime $300 to do this. They caused drywall damage at our old and new house as well (I haven't attached all of the pictures as there are so many). On the last night that they moved anything for use, they were demanding payment, as they did each night. I told Larry that I did not want to pay until the damaged items were resolved because I knew if I paid I would have no leverage. He assured me that he would take care of the damage and needed to be paid that night so he could pay his guys. After 20 minutes or so going in circles, I reluctantly paid because his guys refused to leave our house until we did. They had a guy named Chris who is supposedly their guy who repairs damage. He stood me up several times at my West Jordan house and when he finally came he just took pictures that I had already sent to Larry and said he would get in touch for the repairs. He ever came to the Layton house to see the damage there and after this I basically never heard from them again, despite many texts and phone calls. In the end we ended up paying Tru Solutions $7,500 and were left with about $10,000 in damages that they refused to help with. They are by far the worst company I have ever worked with and are beyond shady and will say anything to get your money. STAY AWAY!!!!! Do not trust anything that Larry, Tyler, or Chris says to you! Oh, and by the way, the address that they have listed on Google is wrong. Chris gave me their address when he wanted me to leave a key to my West Jordan house so he could make repairs, which I was 100% not comfortable doing given the history. DO NOT DEPEND ON OR TRUST THIS COMPANY. If I could give 0 stars I would. Scheduled at 8:30 am to move our stuff. 3 hours passed and no one showed up. I called them and they said they were going to be there at 2 pm. 2:00 came and they STILL didn't show. I tried calling them to see where they were since over half of the day was wasted.They stopped answering my phone calls. Then when they finally answered they tried to have me give my credit card info over the phone when I originally told them I would be paying with cash. Can you say SCAM?! Super unprofessional and a shady way to run a so called business. I'm a single mother with a daughter, and a son that has scoliosis. So moving out heavy furniture was not going to happen by myself. I would definitely not recommend this company. The movers showed up 3.5 hours late. I was scheduled to have two professional movers, and was told that to "make up for the lateness, I would receive three movers for the price of two. Then, they could knock it out quickly and make up for lost time." This calmed our nerves a bit as we were already hitting early afternoon. Additionally, I had to call them (multiple times), when they didn't show up 30 min late, then an hour late, then two hours late. The communication was dreadful. Meanwhile, my fiancé and I moved ourselves for the first 3.5 hours (we had just packed up our lives and moved to a new state for career advancements.) We should have kept going and asked for some friends to help instead. One older gentleman and two kids showed up to move us. The older gentleman made sexist comments, which I quickly told him I did not appreciate, while the kids had zero direction and stood around. I had to finally take control of the situation and put the younger two to work. They ended up hitting furniture into walls, dropped things, etc. My fiancé and I continued to move ourselves doing most of the work the entire day. We were also promised furniture assembly, and wow -- we had to pay for them to reassemble different pieces of furniture, multiple times. This was extra upsetting after we just had outstanding movers in Oregon get us disassembled and loaded-up. The younger kids kept getting angry at the older gentleman, and vice-versa. It was uncomfortable. What a shame. It makes me wonder how much of these reviews are credible. I waited a week to 'cool-off' before writing this review. I was told by the gentleman before he left, "they are just kids, they will get better," but as a customer, I paid for additional unnecessary hours and wall/furniture repairs. I will never recommend this company, and will make sure to tell my company that they should no longer recommend them. They sent the deposit through and I've been trying to get it refunded for two weeks. Their address is bogus ( don't believe me, try to find them). The ignorant woman that takes their calls lied and said I cancelled when the movers were in route. I move next week. So unless they are traveling from another country. Schedule them to move a family member. We had received a quote. And been told they would be there at 8 am. They finally rolled in about 11. No follow up or any phonecalls. We kept on having to call to get updates. We already had most of the stuff ready to load by the door since they were 3 hours late. When they finally got to our destination, payment was requested right away, before any furniture was unloaded. We advised them no payment would be done until the job was completed as is typical. The employee right away got on the phone with his office as he had mentioned payment was required before unloading. Right away it felt very fishy. At this point one of the two employees was working and being very nice to us. We began unloading our own furniture as the male who was in charge was on face time with his boss. We were advised they would not allow us to unload our belongings until we paid them . At this point the price we had been quoted had almost doubled . And they told us if we didn't pay the inflated amount they would close the moving truck doors and take our belongings. At this point my wife was on the phone with a lady in their office. Conversation started fine until we advised them we would only be paying what we had originally agreed to. No this mysterious inflated amount. At this point the female employee who was on the phone with my wife became agitated and would not even let us speak to explain our frustration and why we had a problem with the shady ways this was going. As we had already been unloading our belongings our selves, we were told to get out of the truck until we paid the larger amount. I explained to the second employee, this are our belongings, we need them so we are unloading them as planned, I never refused to pay them, my issue was just the bait and switch they were trying to pull on us. I kept trying to unload our belongings as the main worker attempted to close the moving trucks door in order to prevent us from getting our belongings. I explained to him I was not getting out of the truck without our belongings and they we qould pay. Just not be held hostage with our belongings. At this point we had multiple people helping us unload the truck. The main employee tried closing the moving trucks door. My brother was underneath said door while this was happening. The main employee at this point tried to physically move me out of the way in order to keep our belongings. (By the way all this is on tape in case there is any doubts or questions) I was extremely upset at the situation as I'm fure anyone would be, we thought we were paying to make a move easier, instead this company is attempting to scam me. I yelled at one of our friends to call the cops. The main employee looked at me and stated, "this is a civil matter cop's wont do anything " ( weird knowledge to have unless you attempt to scam people like this frequently) the office employee my wife was on the phone with finally came to the agreement they would lower the inflated price. The main employee again tried to get us to pay and sign some sort of paper. This was again shady as the paper he wanted us to sign was not filled out at all. I told him again. I am not refusing to pay. But I'll pay the agreed amount. I'll pay once we have an invoice reflecting the correct amount. Not a random invoice that has no information filled out at all. We were finally emailed an invoice that was corrected. They asked us to pay them in venmo which I thought was weird since they already had a card in file and a deposit had been charged. We processed the payment. At this point the main employee asked us to sign the delivery paper he kept asking for signatures on. I asked them to completely fill it out and add paid in full and sign it before I did. ( this was also recorded and photographed, since there had been so many discrepancies so far) he then asked us to sign the damage waiver stating we had gone over our belongings and they had not been damaged. Refused to signed and asked the employee, did not check, since we had not been able to do anything since we were being scammed and we were trying to fix it. They finally left. A male employee then called to "apologize " for what had happened. But instead started to blame its for what had happened and said we were too aggressive, on how we spoke to his employees. I agree I had my voice raised alot, this was a very frustrating situation, and the way the company managed it made it ever worse. So of course I was frustrated. But the employee who called us was not one of the employees who was at our residence, so he jas no clue what happened. I personally apologized to his employees before they left. I explained my frustration to them and shook their hand. So for someone to call is back after this whole fiasco and blame us, shows very poor taste. ​ read more

If I could rate this company zero stars I would. I called 2 weeks in advance to schedule a move from a Pod to a 4th fl apartment in South Salt Lake. I was scheduled for 1030am on Sun 10/31. Larry contacted me at 1045 advising the movers were a little behind but enroute. At 215 I called to get an update as they had not shown up and Larry advised that they were still at an prior move. Called back at 4pm and Larry stated they were wrapping things up. Heather calls me at 520pm asking if they could reschedule me for the next day with a discount. I advised her that my Pod was to be picked up the next day and I just started a new job so asking off would be hard. She stated she had stand by drivers available for the move and would call me back to confirm. No call from Heather and now the phones are going straight to voicemail. I will be calling my Bank tomorrow to request my deposit money back. Tru Solutions def need to reassess your customer service and reliability. read more

10/07/2020 - UPDATE - I finally heard from Larry, because he received my dispute. And after giving me a number of excuses as to why I hadn't received anything from them. He stated the doors were on back order and instead of me waiting, that he would refund me $500 on my card if I would close the dispute. I agreed, and he sent me a document to electronically sign and then I would get the $500 refunded to my card. That was over a week ago AND GUESS what... NOTHING. I have still received NOTHING!!! And after multiple emails and texts trying to find out what is going on... Today, I again had to file a dispute with my card company so that I can get my $500. Honestly, these guys speak such a good game, always sound so caring... but in the end... the just don't have it together. I really didn't want to have to write this review, but after multiple attempt and conversations with reasons and excuses why things haven't been handled. Well I feel I have no choice. When I first contacted this company for my move from Utah to New Mexico I thought I found the right one. Tyler, she seemed very supportive and helpful. And understood that I would need packers, junk removal and then the move. We planned it for 1 day packing, 1 day loading and then driving on the third day! However as the day arrived for the team of packers to arrive at 9 a.m. nothing. So I called and was told that when they called the week prior, they thought I had changed the day... So they managed to put together a team to get to my house later that day. I had already packed most of the house by the time they arrived. So all that was left was the kitchen and preparing my furniture for the truck the next day. The day of the truck packing.. What a mess! The crew showed up and started with the junk removal, because the crew lead with the moving company didn't show up until almost 11 a.m. The rest of the crew stood around for an hour waiting! What should have taken an hour or two.. was an ALL DAY event. The team lead, couldn't make up his mind and I literally had to get in the middle of him and his crew.. an unbelievable argument in my garage about how and what to pack! I watched the 'lead' take 40 minutes to shrink wrap my year old refrigerator..including the handles he removed. Once the fridge was loaded on the truck at 3 p.m. he send the crew home and he ended up re-arranging everything in the truck for another 2 hours! And in the end, because it was not covered on the truck, the doors were damaged! I had to send an email, stating that I would file a dispute with my credit card company if I didn't have proof with in the week of the doors being ordered and a copy of my bill... Again, Larry contacted me immediately on that email, apologizing for Tyler's lack of responses, and assured me he would take care of it all. And now a week after Larry's last contact and I still have nothing. I am now contact my credit card company to dispute the charges and also contacting my attorney. Bottom line: Unless you're okay with being lied to, threatened, bullied and harassed, find another company to work with! If I could rate this company zero stars, I absolutely would! I normally don't post negative reviews because I used to work in an industry that revolved around reviews, so under most circumstances I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but not this time. I feel that it should be made publicly known just how awful this company is to work with. My dad hired this company to move a few pieces of furniture from his house to my house. They were late arriving but moving the furniture went very smoothly and the two movers they sent did an amazing job! They were very careful with the items and never nicked the walls or ran into anything once. Unlike some of the other reviews I've read, the actual moving of items went flawlessly! It was after they were done that things went downhill fast. My dad stayed behind long enough to eat a little snack and chitchat for a few minutes. As he was leaving, about 15-20 minutes later, one of the movers approached him and said he had the total due and would need to run his credit card to satisfy the charges. The total amount he was told was more than he had been quoted and didn't include the deposit he had paid, so my dad told him he wouldn't give him a credit card to run. He asked to be e-mailed an invoice and said he would call to give them his credit card information once he was given the correct total to pay and had a paper trail to keep. The person on the other end of the mover's phone kept insisting that he pay right now. He told my dad the Bookkeeper wasn't in the office so he didn't know anything about the deposit, but he still wanted him to pay right away, which my dad refused to do. After this, the mover walked back down the street (they had left my property before they even had a total to ask for), my dad proceeded to get into his car to leave and next thing I know, here comes the mover walking back up the street again. My dad drove up to meet him and again told the person on the other end of the phone that he wanted an invoice reflecting the correct charges and then he would pay. Long story short, the movers ended up back at my house quite awhile after my dad had left. The Bookkeeper, Tyler, was on the other end of the phone this time insisting I make the payment. I told her no, my dad had arranged for the truck and agreed to the terms, so she would need to contact him. She told me that because he was no longer at my house, it was my responsibility to make the payment. I told her that it wasn't and she would need to get ahold of him. She told me I was in breach of contract and she was going to call the cops. I told her I wasn't in breach of anything because my name is nowhere on the paperwork and to go ahead and call the cops. She tried to tell me that I was committing a felony, which is hilarious! Clearly she doesn't know the definition of a felony! Obviously, this kind of tactic has worked for her many times in the past but if you chose to work with this company and this happens to you, don't listen to her. Little did she know, the degrees I earned involved several Business Law classes, so while I'm not an attorney, I know basic things about the law. One of the most basic would be that if you are not a party to any type of contract (verbal, written or otherwise) they have no recourse against you. Sadly, she made the two movers sit at my house for about 1/2 hour until my dad had made it home and paid the bill. No wonder why so many people report this company being late to show up! In the end, they charged my dad $50 more than they had quoted him, and the person who had been trying to make him pay from my house also threatened to call the police on him when he called to make the payment. This must be standard operating procedure for how this company does business! SMH! I have moved multiple times in the past and hired several different moving companies and NEVER have I experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I witnessed and was dragged into today! Do yourself a favor a go with a company that maybe charges a little more but is a tad more professional, because in the end it probably won't really end up costing you that much more to use another company, but it will save you a tremendous hassle! I am very disappointed with the moving service of this company. I want to share my experience so that people think about it very well before hiring them. I hired this service 1 year ago, I had hired the service for 8 am and they arrived at 12 pm, luckily the two people who gave me the service were able to do the job well and in 2.5 hours. Yesterday, 1 year later, I had the service contracted (I scheduled the service more than 2 weeks in advance). They started the service almost an hour late, I requested the service of 2 people (same service and items from 1 year ago). They finally sent 4 people, it took them 4.5 hours to complete the service. It took people 1 hour to disassemble a bed frame (4 people), then it took almost 2 hours to assemble it in the new place, as I felt they were confused, I offered to use the manual of the bed frame and they told me they didn't need it. After 4 and a half hours, to move a 1-bedroom apartment, with 4 men, they charged me double what I paid in 2019. After paying for the service, I started to fix everything in my house, I was working Until late, when I was finally able to go to bed, it turns out that my bed was incorrectly installed and the mattress fell off, taking into account that it was the only bed I have, and that I had paid for almost 3 hours of service to disassemble and assemble that bed, you can imagine what I felt. Most worrying of all, the customer support of this company. Today, first thing in the morning, 7 am, I called and spoke with the Manager. I explained my situation and dissatisfaction with the service, and he told me that they had other services scheduled today and that at the end of the afternoon someone would come to fix the bed frame. I emphasized to the manager, that it did not seem to me that I had to wait until 5 pm, since I had already paid for a service, a bad service, more than 500 $ and I had no guarantee that someone would come, he indicated that they would try to get someone and that they would call me. Indeed, around 9 am today, the person in charge of scheduling services called me and indicated that someone would come fix the bed between 12 - 1 pm. It is already 3 pm and nobody has come, they do not answer the calls and I am still with the damaged bed, the only bed in my apartment, with a baby at home and with the annoyance of having paid a very bad service. I feel robbed. I hope this doesn't happen again and I really think about it very well. read more

I booked a move with them and when I called to confirm the following day I found out they hadn't actually booked it...so I tried to book again and called to confirm again (never got any of the promised emails.) Then after reading these Yelp reviews I decided to go with another company, so I called to cancel. But then apparently they didn't actually cancel it so they called me again and I cancelled for a second time and then they still tried to send movers on a day that I had never even booked with them and then charged me a late fee...they are incredibly incompetent with their scheduling, it's been a huge hassle and I didn't even use them for my move. I would rate this zero stars if it were an option. I called a couple days ago for a quote to move a large, odd-shaped, and heavy couch about 50 miles. Was quoted $290. Because of the weather and time I needed it, I was willing to pay it and Larry assured me it wasn't too small of a job. They scheduled me for today, and said I would hear from the movers between 1 and 2pm. When I didn't hear from them as promised, I called to inquire, since I had other people to communicate with in the location the couch was coming from. The lady on the phone did everything she could to get me off the phone, when all I was asking for was a status, not trying to tell her my life story. She said she would reach out to the movers and call me back in 10-15 minutes. Cool. Waited another hour and called back. Straight to voicemail. Waited another hour. Called back. Went straight to voicemail. It is well past 6pm and I have yet to receive a SINGLE phone call from anyone. I left a voicemail in case there was a typo in my information. I totally get things come up and maybe they became unavailable, but it really feels like I'm being avoided. It would have been nice to know when I had the chance for a Plan B. Seriously the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with--even worse than impound lots and tow companies. Quick tip: pay the extra money to have actual professionals handle your move. Of the three people that showed up to do the moving, one was wearing an ankle bracelet, one was absolutely filthy and I think the third kid actually worked there full time. He told me that this was the first day on the job for the other two movers. As they were moving things, they managed to break my computer desk, scratch my refrigerator in numerous places and put holes in my walls. These people were not professional movers. I called Tyler and she said she had a guy ready to come out and fix everything. I called her about four times on this matter. Never heard from the guy to fix anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
