Please please read before buying anything here…read more I bought a camper from Barry's Camper sales aka Barry's auto sales on June 17 2023. After getting it home my husband climbed up on top and realized the roof was in such disrepair that it needs to be replaced. I was the one who purchased it and I looked inside for water damage but didn't see any. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. The next day with a flashlight I found a small hint of water stains in the bathroom by the toilet. It was then that my husband climbed up on top and saw the damage. We called them immediately and they said there was no damage and that we must've done it on the way home and they have video proving the roof was fine. They won't send the video. The damage is obviously old and after further investigation it's more extensive than originally thought. I have pictures to show that there is no way that this could be new damage. Anyone with eyes could see that it's old. I would like for them to either fix the roof or reimburse us for the roof. My husband is actually working on it today but it's so extensive I'm afraid it will need a professional. I also bought an extended warranty and on top of repair and reimbursement for the roof I'd like to be reimbursed for that. If this is how they conduct business then I'm sure that the warranty will not be honored. The first 2 pictures are what we found originally. The last 3 pics are the damage my husband found after getting on top and trying to repair the damage. Today June 23rd 2023. We had it covered with a tarp all week but the wood is punky and stained and mildewed as you can see. I feel I was taken advantage of because I'm a senior citizen But after reading reviews here and on google he's an equal opportunity sheister.

I purchased a used Class A motor home from Barry's Auto/Camper Sales a year ago, below is the…read morereview I wrote the week I brought it home. Unfortunately this is not the review I would have liked to leave nor is it one I take lightly in leaving. I understand Barry's purchased the motorhome from a bank that had to repossess it. I am told they were not aware of all the problems it had, but a horse trader knows a bad horse and a RV trader should know a bad RV especially with so many years of experience. I will admit I am naive to RVs although I had seen several prior to this one while shopping. When I purchased this one I was told that the roof had just been resealed although the first day after bringing it home it started raining and the roof started leaking. I found there are multiple places needing sealed even a hole where something was mounted and was never sealed it appears their idea of resealing was to put caulk on top of the old caulk without even cleaning the dirt and mildew off. After calling to report it I was offered to have some sealer sent to me so I could reseal it myself. I was also told the windshield was just resealed by their windshield guy. I found that wasn't true either, it was leaking in in several places during the rainfall as well; their idea of resealing was to glue the edge of the rubber trim down not the windshield. I tried to add sealer on the windshield under the rubber trim to stop the leaking which is more than they had done, it didn't work it was still leaking, now I will take it to a professional windshield company to have it done correctly...$$$ They had two weeks after I purchased it to have these two things done before I picked it up He even said they checked it after several rains and found no leaks, he failed to mention it never moved from under the shelter during the rains according to his daughter. I was told all the dash gauges worked but the fuel gauge was a little off after taking it home I discovered none are working or working right, someone had went so far as to glue the fuel level needle down so it showed a half tank after destroying the back of the gauge trying to fix it. It will probably have to go to Freightliner to repair them... $$$. Someone installed a wireless back up camera system and broke the antenna on the camera. When I ask during the test drive why it was flickering so bad I was told some systems are better than others we have to draw a line somewhere when putting money in the used units. Someone installed a new TV over the dash to bad I have had to disassemble the entire front overhead TV cabinet to finish hooking it up. All of the wires were scattered all over after several hours of testing I have it all connected. Probably a good thing it was all about to fall out anyhow. I will have to disassemble the shower before using it I discovered it was separated from the wall the screws are stripped. One of the Hydraulic leveling jacks is leaking that will be expensive. I am concerned to know what may be found when I can begin to use this coach. I know the owner does not do the work nor does he supervise it but he is responsible for it, a thorough inspection by an experienced RV Tech would have disclosed these items. I would suggest before buying anything from any used dealer bring you own RV tech and have it gone over extremely well. I had originally posted this review in November 2018 a few days after bringing it home, after receiving a message threatening legal action by the owner against me even while stating they appreciate honest feedback. I redacted some statements that could appear I was being slanderous towards them, after all he reminded did sign a paper saying I was happy with my purchase and he felt that I appeared knowledgeable when I looked the coach over for 3 hours. The dealer called me later and stated he would have the windshield fixed if I would take it to the windshield guy which was three hours one way from me and he would help me with the cost to repair the gauges when I had them repaired if I would remove my review he didn't care how many stars I left just remove the review. In good faith I agreed to his request. It cost twelve hours of my time and fifty gallons of diesel fuel and fifty gallons of gas to take the coach to Alabama and return two weeks later to pick it up to have the windshield fixed, it no longer leaks but there was no compensation for that cost. I spent several hours trying to repair the gauge system on the chassis with the assistance of Freightliner customer service, I discovered someone had broken the gauge, striped the wires and taped them up at the level sender in the tank, had broken the return hose on the tank and had also left the tank straps loose while trying to repair the gauge. I finally surrendered and drove the coach to the Freightliner repair shop. After 6 weeks and $4300 later all the gauges are working. The lot owner has not paid anything on it.

I got my grandmother dream car from here for Mother's Day. I live in Atlanta but I was in town…read morevisiting and drove past this establishment and saw her dream car a Camaro. Everywhere I looked was very pricey but they were super affordable so l checked them out. I test drove it and knew it was the one. I can say going here I learned the difference between a car lot and a dealership. I'm used to getting my cars from a dealership. The only real big difference is the lot is buy as is. When I got the car it was a few issues, it needed 2 new tires and new brakes all around which was kind of costly. I would rather have everything fixed and included in the price. But the car was great and my granny loved it and I got everything fixed the same day. I would like to say that this was the fastest process once I got back in town to get the vehicle. The whole process took like a hour or 2 not long at all compared to my other experiences. Their communication was Al and always picked up the phone and answered any questions or concerns I had when I called. They are very honest and straight forward I really love that because I did bring up the issues with vehicle and she let me know like this is a buy as is lot so that explains pricing of vehicles. They make sure the vehicles are priced well for what they are worth. So far no issues my granny rode it to Atlanta one weekend and there were no issues at all. My experience was pretty great. This is a very fine establishment and they even let me borrow this big bow to put on top of the car for when I surprised my grandmother. I appreciate you all a lot for making her day special and will attach photos and videos below. In a month or two l will make updates to review letting you all know tag process and if any issues come up with vehicle but so far so great and I enjoyed doing business with this establishment. Here with an update so the experience was great and very quick process the only thing I can say bad is it being, a car lot so it's buy as is. It was a couple of things wrong with the car costing roughly around $2000 within the first 30-90 days. Battery, alternator, tires, and the rims are scratched up bad and something else is wrong it keep making a noise but I haven't figured it out yet but I'm used to dealerships so I now see the big difference. They're good business but I would rather most things be good on the car and everything be fixed and added to the price or something. Then like every-time something is brought up wrong with the car even before purchase it's kind of like a oh well type of response. Like when I emailed about the alternator I was told," Alternators do go out on cars. It's worked fine when you bought it." Which I get it it's buy as is . But a lot of things being wrong the first 3 months is not so good. But at least they are always willing and quick to respond. But yes this is my update.!

I recently traded in my 2015 Kia Sedona for a 2020 Kia Telluride at 423 Wholesalers on Ringgold…read moreRoad in East Ridge. I secured my loan through Southeastern Financial, and I purchased the Route 66 Extended Warranty that would cover the car for 36,000 miles. I went to pick up the car and found that it had a 6" crack in the windshield with several other severe chips. I went back in and asked when did the crack and chips happen. They acted like they didn't know, but Regina said that she could have it fixed and I would just have to pay her cost. I ended up getting the windshield replaced at Safelite myself. A few of days later after I driven about 200 miles the car started bucking when it got around 25 mph, and it threw an OBDI code: P0741 which states that the torque converter was faulty. I drove back to Southeast Financial and asked how locked in I was in this deal because I was already running into transmission trouble. They told me to call the extended warranty company to let them know what was going on. I did call and was told not to make any trips with the car but to take the car to a transmission shop of my choice as soon as it was convenient. I went to Midas Transmission Repair first because they have a very high consumer rating. Midas said that they did not work with Route 66 Warranties, but pointed out East Ridge Transmission a block from them. I took the car there and told them what was happening. It started with a little glitch, but then got a lot worse. A few days later I was notified that a claim for transmission repairs had been denied. I called Route 66 Warranty and they told me that the car's transmission problem was a pre-existing condition and that they would not cover it. I asked Route 66 what good was their extended warranty if they won't cover the bill. They told me that I didn't wait long enough to call for a claim. I asked them if they really thought that I would buy a car with a bd transmission? They said that the claim has been denied and that they couldn't do anything for me. With the car still at East Ridge Transmission, I went back to 423 Wholesalers and told them what was going on. Regina swore they never had a problem with the car (even though the car sat in the same place on the lot), and since it was past 7 days, she could do anything about it. She said the car was sold As Is. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a $4,000 transmission bill when East Ridge Transmission fixes it. I would never have purchased the car knowing it had major problems. I should have known better to accept the car with the cracked windshield. it was not cracked a few days earlier when I test drove it. I became very leary about 423 Wholesalers when Regina said she could have it fixed for her cost With no cost out of her pocket. I guess I was ripped off in every way possible With this vehicle purchase.
