Generally, when I ask for a lot of pressure, therapists just don't get it. This therapist totally did. She did a great job, was super friendly, did not talk too much during the massage, and offered me a discount on my next appointment. Thumbs up for sure. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the atmosphere. There were 4 kids in the lobby, being really loud, which I could hear over the music in the massage room. Also, I don't really care about this since I knew it was a dr's office, but the decor, etc. is not really overly soothing, relaxing, etc. It's pretty dr-like in decorations, but if you are like me and seriously just want a good massage, it's fine. I don't need fancy. Others would not like this though, if they are looking for a spa experience. Also, I screwed up on my appointment time, thought it was 530, it was really 500. I was new to laser therapy but Dr. Born explained it and helped come up with a treatment plan to get me as far along as we could before my trip. After just four sessions of laser therapy over the course of a week, along with recommended nutrition plan, I was walking without crutches. The pain and inflammation was down significantly and I am feeling confident a week later to take my trip, being able to walk without limping or major fatigue. I took him to an ear institute and was told he had hearing loss and needed tubes. I was sent home with antibiotics which my son had an allergic reaction and had to stop taking them! I made the appointment for my son to see Dr. Bryan less than a week later, and boy was I glad I did! He treated him three times before we had to go back for another hearing test and discuss Eustachian tubes. We went back to the ear institute and the doctor couldn't believe how great his ears looked! He won't be needing tubes and has all his hearing back!!! Yay, no talk of tubes at all! I'm one thankful momma today all thanks to Dr. Bryan! They are all truly amazing there! Her philosophy is treat the whole body, not just the symptom. We go on a weekly basis for the last few years and we treat this as a wellness program for our body. Adjusts last a long time so if I travel for work and miss a few weeks, I still feel good when I return home. Other health issues have eased or cleared away with regular adjustments. This practice's aim is to get your back healthy and only come in once a month for maintenance. I love Dr Karen. She is awesome at taking my pain away and getting my joints moving correctly.
