I have been a client here for over a year and have received excellent care from Dr. Cohen for my chronic low back and neck pain (after a bad fall). I haven't had any personal experience with Dr. Kash to speak of, but he seems like happy, friendly guy whenever I see him around. At Madison Heights Chiropractic Center, it is important to them to educate patients on their practices and procedures so you always understand their rationale for their techniques and how they will help you. When I first came as a patient, they had a series of a couple instructional videos to explain chiropractic care in general - they are dated, but they are informative, and you can have a giggle at the old music and clothes in them. They offer a variety of services here. Dr. Cohen is friendly and professional. When things were really bad with my back pain, I even had some appointments that lasted almost an hour with all the adjustments, stretches, and heat pads (with the same fee for a regular visit). If things still don't feel right after a visit, you are always welcome to call in or drop by to double-check things. Dr. Cohen really cares about my well-being and wants to do everything in his power to help me feel better. I felt much less silly practicing different stretches in the office after he got down on the floor to show me everything first! The other thing is, he is helpful at suggesting things that could help that also fit into your lifestyle - in the past I have had chiropractors or doctors be "preachy" or condescending about lifestyle changes. This is not the case at Madison Heights Chiropractic Center. The other office staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I barely have to wait 5 minutes after I arrive to begin my appointment. Finally, here, they have never tried to sell me any useless junk. Other chiropractors I visited have repeatedly insisted on ridiculous supplements and other products, which have flimsy science behind them, at best. It felt like a high-pressure sales situation! I bought a "bio freeze" roll-on gel at Madison Heights Chiropractic (it's kind of like icy hot gel) and have found it to be very helpful. They gave me numerous samples to try first to make sure it would be a good investment, and it was $10 and lasted me two years. Overall, I feel very comfortable here and like I am getting excellent care. I have had a very large reduction in my pain and now only have to visit infrequently for booster adjustments. read more

I moved from Allen Park to this area and told myself I needed to find a Chiropractor on this side of town. It was not easy making this choice because I really liked the place I went to in Allen Park. I went because of the review posted by Laura L. I had the same experience she did. This place takes Health Insurance and is willing to call and verify your coverage. They have hours accomodating someone who works. The staff is very nice and the Dr. is very informative and personable. I found the overall experience to be exceptional. I was always skeptical about going to any chiropractor and therefore I never did. All my family had been to see one and they really liked it. I was still a non believer. I threw my back out extremely bad, unable to bend, twist my body or walk. The pain was excruciating and I couldn't get comfortable. I had no sleep and the pain kept getting worse. Finally I decided to call around to talk to a chiropractor and some wouldn't take my insurance or wouldn't see new clients. On the fourth phone call I talk to a really nice receptionist who told me they take my insurance and asked how soon can I get in there to see the doctor? I made the appointment and arrived in the parking lot, barely made it out of my vehicle and to my surprise the receptionist came outside to help me walk in. The office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They told me the doctor will take care of you. I hoped so because I was hunched over and could barely stand. I met with the doctor, told him what was going on and he did X-rays on my spine to see what condition laid before me. After doing the consultation, he put me on an adjustment table to my surprise was standing up. There was no way I could lay down on my own. The table laid me down flat by hydraulics with no pain. The doctor then proceeded to adjust my spine and sooth my back muscles. He took his time and made me feel absolutely comfortable being there. After the adjustments I could stand straight and actually walk. I told him I should have come here immediately and he said "they all say that". We both chuckled. I was able to walk out of the office on my own. I scheduled another appointment for two days later to go over my X-rays and he told me he was going to get me back into the position my spine needed to be. All of his help got me back to normal. If you are having any type of back problems and are nervous to have a chiropractor look at you, don't be. Call their office and schedule an appointment here. I've been going to MHCC for just shy of a year and can say honestly they are very knowledgeable and detailed. I've been getting adjusted for 20 years or so (30 now) and can say hands down some of the best treatments I've had. Dr. Cohen does an excellent job of understanding, defining and treating your condition (even if you don't realize you may have one) or just keeping your spinal health well beyond what I was even aware of from past experiences. This is my second chiropractic center and I feel its a good place compared to my previous one. Before visiting this place, I have gone through other reviews posted here and I have the similar health issue as Laura L -headaches and Lower back ; felt little confident that they can fix my issues, you know how hard to find a good doctor. After visiting, I felt the environment here is exactly same as mentioned in reviews. Its only one week and I am already feeling better with my pain. The staff is good , the treatment cost is decent & more important Dr.Cohen is very good (don't know about Dr.kash but he seems nice and friendly when he is around). He is very patient , takes time in explaining everything in detail and helps understanding the treatment process . He suggests what to do at home & work to help the pains not only that every time I go there he enquires about the pains with out missing & makes sure that I feel better.To me that's the indication of how much he pays attention to each patient. He is very caring and also goes beyond to help the patients.I rarely see such kind of people who really cares and willing to do more to help.
