The studio is big, bright and unlike other tattoo shops that can look seedy and hide behind closed doors, you can watch the artists at work through the glass shop front. Piercings however, are still done behind the scenes as are the more private placings of tattoos. There are a few talented artists to choose from and their work is well publicised on their Facebook and website pages so picking your artist can be just as hard as picking that perfect tattoo! Prices are average for tattoos with the minimum being $100.00 or $170 per hour but it is best to head in and get a consultation done so they can help you match up with the artist who best suits your needs. The shop is open 7 days a week from 10:00am till late, they do bookings and can also help out walk ins as best as they can, and the gang are happy, helpful and generally pretty cool people! I decided to put my faith in In Therapy in Brisbane's Red Hill in the hope they'd restore my trust and give me the neat and tidy brows I so longed for after a rather disastrous brow wax some two months ago. With the growing out finally done it was time to put myself back on the market, so to speak. Their service menu claimed they "specialise in fabulous brows" and I eagerly set off to see just how fabulous my brows would be. I'm greeted by my technician and ushered into a therapy room and it's not unlike any other brow waxing experience of the past 12 or more years. Before long my technician has spent some 20 minutes working her magic on my brows and when I see them in the small hand mirror she provides to me I am proud to say, "Why yes, don't you two look fabulous." Back in their trim and tidy shape I happily pay $24 for the experience. Of course, brows isn't the only treatment In Therapy offers. They are a full-service beauty salon offering massage, facials, spray tan, mani and pedis. Perhaps the best thing that my sensitive skin praised them for was their use of organic strawberry wax. There was no extremely redden skin afterwards or strange looks from onlookers as I walked back to the office. With this being my second visit to In Therapy (the previous for a file and polish of the ol' fingernails) I can say that each time I walk in I feel instantly calm and like I'm away from the hustle of city life.
