As we went about our day, we called in advance to let them know that we may be running 15 mins late. They were super accommodating on the phone and so we did not rush to the spa. We reserved for 60 mins each and were told that we could have ~45 mins massage - which I thought was reasonable because we were 15 mins late. However, the venue insisted on charging us for the FULL HOUR. I thought it made no sense at all, and we were not told in advance. Worse still, my friend later told me that it took her massage therapist FOREVER to come into the room, so she only received 30 mins of massages and had to pay for the FULL HOUR on her birthday. The front desk staff were super nice to us when we walked in, but became very unfriendly upon checkout. One member was also reluctant on giving us the birthday discount, thought it was clearly stated on their website. I hate to leave a review like this, especially because I enjoyed my massage. But I was really unhappy with the experience at the spa. We did not receive any of the pampering other guests have received (e.g., no tea while waiting etc). I would not recommend it to others.

She was made to feel as though she was the problem, as if her concerns were irrational or unwarranted, rather than those of a client who had been harmed. Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a resolution, the response escalated to the point where she was trespassed from the location for simply advocating for herself. Watching a legitimate concern be reframed as misconduct was deeply disturbing. What's even more concerning is that individuals connected to this now-closed location are currently involved with Sev Laser in Atlanta. From what I've seen, there was never acknowledgment or resolution of the harm done before moving forward under a new business name. Laser treatments are medical-adjacent services that demand accountability, professionalism, and transparency. When something goes wrong, silencing or removing the client instead of addressing the issue is unacceptable. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.
