My review is for the micro needling procedure. I signed up for their membership program to elevate the costs and it really helped! Very clean facility with great front desk staff! My results were more than I could have asked for! When I started, I came in with very painful hormonal acne on my jawline and about 20years of acne scars. My technician advised that she would have to go around any current bumps, and would wait until they went away to go over those areas- explaining that going over them could cause further breakouts. She was such a sweet person and very knowledgeable about what she was doing. I began seeing very noticeable results after my 3rd trip, but wanted to continue to see if it would continue to improve. By the 6th and final appointment, I came out with better skin than I've ever had! No bumps, no discoloration, no fine lines, and even my deepest scars were now barely visible. Please do not get this special, (FOR 1 HOUR UNLIMITED LASER HAIR REMOVAL AREAS $150 PER MONTH). This is my second time going over there and to be honest, they just last 15 min and when you tell them that you pay for one hour the other staff members let you know that they never last an hour. I did not want to argue with any of them but I don't want a membership with them anymore. Also, they even tell you the minimum amount for a tip ( $20 ) I m going back for the 3rd time, and if they do the same thing again, they will have to give me my money back for not giving me the service I pay for. I came here for Botox and fillers back in November. It was my first time getting injected so to say I was nervous is an understatement! The facility is nice and clean and the girls at the front desk are kind and helpful. The girl who injected me was so sweet and made me feel really comfortable throughout the entire process. I wouldn't say it was a painless process but the pain was very minimal. So here's why only one star. My lips were definitely not injected properly. I have all sorts of lumps on my top lip. Like little beads/balls of juvederm that shows particularly more when I smile. I have a bump on the bottom left too. I love the volume I got out of the injections but it's ruined with the bumpy consistency. I did go back and an attempt to massage the bumps out was performed. It didn't really help. I wasn't interested in having this person re inject me to correct their mistake. read more

My experience here was not great. I went in for contouring around the upper cheek area and was hoping for filler along the outer upper jawline but instead Becca injected me in the front of my cheek area which gave me a beaver cheek look that I just could not get used to. I hated how it looked. I called back and requested a follow up so I could dissolve the filler but decided it would be more hassle than it was worth and went to a more skilled doctor who agreed that I had too much fullness in the upper cheek (where it was injected) and was able to do some injections around my jawline and outer cheek to really balance it out. Ended up spending a few grand more than I should have fixing this. If you want basic injections like botox in the forehead, this place may be fine, but if you are looking for aesthetics and someone who knows how to do filler to create an improved facial structure, I don't think I'd recommend this place. read more

Never really took care of or thought much about my skin. My neglect showed  plainly on my face everytime I looked in the mirror. Initial appointment was in October 2021. Have had IPL treatments, peels and facials  that have helped my skin tremendously. Asha is wonderful. She explains the procedures before and as she treats, that always calms my nerves. I have been going to this med spa for several months to a year now. I have been seeing Angelica for laser hair removal, and she has done a good job and is very sweet. However, my complaint is with the front desk staff. I have always been diligent about showing up to my appointments as scheduled, but I just noticed a random $20 charge on my account after calling to get back on the schedule after being out for a month with my critically ill father who just passed away . When I called to inquire about it, she said it was from having too many no-shows/no calls to reschedule. This is completely untrue, and I am frankly insulted and honestly shocked because I have always been diligent about showing up to my appointments on time, as scheduled. She was very unprofessional, and I asked her to go ahead and cancel the appointment that I just scheduled and my entire membership, as well as refund the $20 that she billed me in error regarding missed appointments. They just lost a very good client over something pretty ridiculous. read more

I had my first visit to Dermani (Buckhead) today and had such a wonderful experience. The girls at the front desk were nice and welcoming, and the wait time to see my provider was minimal. My consultation/appointment was with Becca and I opted to have Botox. As someone who has never had Botox,filler,etc., I was a bit nervous about what to expect. Becca went over the process, expectations and any questions I had. She errs on the conservative side of units, which I liked. So many other providers try to up-sell units of Botox for no good reason. Becca's demeanor is so sweet and friendly...she really helps you feel relaxed. The injections weren't painless, but the pain was manageable, especially for a first time. I had countless IPL treatments on my face here. The 1st one is the only one that had any positive results. The second one burned my skin, and the at least 4 more treatments did absolutely NOTHING. I called and spoke with the manager a couple times about this, and each time I went in I told the girls "the last treatment had no effect on my skin whatsoever. Please adjust settings accordingly" and again, NO results. On my last visit, they told me the machine had just been re-calibrated and it should be working great now. AGAIN, NOTHING. Total waste of money and time. Won't be back. read more

On Saturday, July 13, 2019, I went to Dermani MedSpa (Vinings) for my sixth laser hair removal session. Despite following all instructions provided by Dermani for pre and post treatment (i.e., use of sunscreen, no sun, no antibiotics, etc.), the session left me with second degree burns on my face and neck. While driving home after the appointment, my face and neck was burning, so I turned the A/C on full blast to cool it down. It was painful too. I rinsed my face with cool water and called Dermani immediately when I got home. The laser technician called me back the same day and instructed me to put ice on the burns, use aloe vera or Neosporin, and e-mail pictures. A few hours later, I saw numerous black spots on my face and neck. I didn't use ice because putting ice on a burn can damage skin. I did apply Neosporin and shea butter (good for treating burns). The next day I received a call from Harvey as follow-up to the e-mail and pictures I sent. In my e-mail, I asked (again) how to care for my skin and to also cancel my monthly membership. He told me to use antibacterial soap to cleanse my skin and Neosporin on the burns, per the medical director's instructions. He also asked me to come into the office so the nurse practitioner could see the burns and offered to refund about half of what I had paid for my treatments. He called it a courtesy refund. I asked for a full refund, as I could use it towards doctor's visits and prescriptions. I received a full refund. I asked Harvey to have the medical director to call me because I wanted to speak with her directly. She told me to use hydrocortisone cream on the burns in addition to the antibacterial soap and Neosporin. She said it would take the burns 2-3 weeks to heal; Harvey said it would take months. She asked if I had blisters. I said no because I didn't on Sunday. On Monday 7-15, the day I went back to Dermani for my follow-up appointment, I noticed small blisters (bubble like) on a few of the burns. Fluid discharge oozed from those. Some of the other burns looked wet and wrinkly. Two nurse practitioners evaluated my skin. I told them about the blisters. They took pictures and neither indicated I had second degree burns. Instead, I was told that the burns would heal without scarring and that I could apply makeup that weekend. I asked if I needed a prescription. They said they asked the medical director and she said no and to stop using the hydrocortisone. I also asked the medical director the previous day if I needed a prescription. She said no. From looking at the pictures, the medical director concluded that the areas looked okay and that there was no infection. The medical director was not present. She made her diagnosis from the pictures that the nurses sent her. Is the medical director a board-certified dermatologist? The medical director and the nurse practitioners asked me to make another appointment to see the areas again. I made an appointment with a dermatologist that Friday (7-19) to get a second opinion. To date, I've had three appointments. The physician assistant said I had second degree burns. She prescribed cephalexin (an oral antibiotic used to treat skin infections, etc.) and silver sulfadiazine cream (a topical antibiotic used on burns to prevent infection). I had to take the antibiotics for ten days and use the cream for a week. The following Friday, the doctor told me I had post-inflammatory hypopigmentation as a result of the burns. This means that I had depigmented spots (white and reddish-pink spots) on my face and neck. He had me to use Retin-A for three weeks to see if it would stimulate melanin. It didn't work. He told me that laser technicians can see that they're burning your skin because it changes colors. That was very interesting to learn...to say the least. During my third visit, the physician assistant prescribed pimecorlimus cream and topical coal tar solution in efforts to repigment the areas because they both have anti-inflammatory properties. I have seen significant improvement using these prescriptions. I'm very happy with the results, as it is reversing the damage and repigmenting the discolored spots. read more

After receiving 8 laser treatments on my underarms and Brazilian I would NEVER come back here. I understand results vary from person to person but there should be no reason why after 8 treatments the same amount of hair is still coming back. I started going to a new place and automatically I could tell why I wasn't seeing results. They weren't setting the laser at an efficient level to where the hair actually burns off. I should've known this since only charge ~$60/month for both underarm and Brazilian. They say after 12 treatments you should stop seeing the hair grow back but now I see why they say this to offset their such cheap prices and to make sure you keep coming back. PLEASE DO NOT come here if you want effective results. I wish I could get my money back for coming here for the past 8 months to not see any results. read more
