By far exceeds any previous gym experiences. I've been to my share of gyms over the years, some have been extraordinarily good. However, my time here has effortlessly surpassed those. If you want to pay $10/month, to walk in like a ghost, wonder the machines and leave unnoticed this may not be the place for you. Yet, if you want to be welcomed by name, personal tour, an individualized- supportive fitness plan, with a few fist bumps of encouragement, THIS is most definitely the fitness family for you. I have a few injuries I am working through healing and have found huge value in opting in the physical training add-on. Along with nutrition guidance, and tailored exercises fit for my challenges; Noah is highly knowledgable of the physical therapy aspect of training, then mirrored by Jeremy's enthusiasm to help build the healthy body you are striving for. The facility has very good supply of different machines and free weights. There is plenty of space for pretty much any designed workout program. The entire staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. I had a trainer (Alonzo) who really motivate me and got me into a solid program. Both my wife and I are members, and she is now taking classes there as well. read more

Do not get scammed like I did! Do not sign a "contract" with these people. There is no way to truly cancel and they contradict their own contract repeatedly. All they want is your money. SHADY AND SHAMEFUL I was lied to multiple times I don't think anyone at Paramount (who's responsible for their third-party billing) knows what is going on. Do not sign up with this gym unless you wanna never-ending Saga of trying to cancel your membership. I genuinely wanted to love this place. Asked about cancellation policy before signing a contract, I'm a single mom in the military so the daycare was a great perk for me... they said if I got military orders I could cancel, no issue. They claimed childcare was trained and clean... absolutely not true. I went for about 10 months, but recently received active duty orders across the country. I talked to the manager about canceling, gave proof of my upcoming address in California, and submitted the letter to the payment company in Utah as directed... still being billed. In the midst of moving when money is tight as a single mom? This sucks. Additionally, when I signed up and was given my forced tour, Jeremy, the egotistical maniac trainer (with a mean girl girlfriend who is constantly inappropriate at the gym) pressured me repeatedly into trying personal training, despite my explaining that I was already budgeting tight to have the gym membership- as a service member I have free base gym access, but the gym at my base doesn't offer childcare. Well Jeremy was persistent, rude, unprofessional and much of the staff is clueless, immature and lazy. The gym is never well cleaned and the "clique" behavior of many members is incredibly discouraging to see- I talked to a few newer people who seemed so nice, but felt like they were being judged by existing members. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP!!!!! This gym is horrible. I got a membership June 2024 and canceled in person August 2024. They continued to bill me until February 2025 because my membership "was never canceled." DO NOT GOOO!!!! As a former employee, I'm going to be careful of my words to avoid detection by the manager, though they will probably recognize me anyway. I might post to Google at one point but I wish to remain nameless. I'm going to try and be as precise as possible so I don't give any false info. The manager is very pushy with sales. Employees (excluding trainers) get paid 8.25$ an hour. She - not us workers - gets kickbacks for selling a certain amount of stuff including memberships and smoothies, so that's her reason to push so hard. She brags a lot about how good she is with sales and all that, and how she's always thinking of buying expensive stuff (hot tub), but then we are paid a dollar above minimum wage. And she expected us to be extremely pushy with sales as well, despite us never getting any 'compensation.' Think of me whatever, I think that as much money as this gym rakes in, they can pay their employees more. The contracts are very misleading. While I hope TruFit is shaking in their boots at this new FTC 'click to cancel' rule, I will tell you how in the meantime, according to your contact, how you can cancel. You can contact Paramount Acceptance out in Utah, who is the third party that handles billing. You must send them a letter in the mail - type up a letter and stamp it and put it in the mailbox - and then thirty days after they get it, they will cancel your membership. I'm sure there are other stipulations involved to cancel, but I cannot remember them. If they 'get it'. You CANNOT 'cancel anytime'. You cannot WALK IN and CANCEL - they will just hand you a card and tell you to call Paramount Acceptance, which is next to impossible to get a hold of them. I DETEST that they advertise cancel anytime but it's so far from the truth. Side note: you are also charged 19.99$ every six months (Jan/July) an enhancement fee that goes to the gym. Employees get warned in advance that people will call mad because they don't know what that charge is for. The place is cleaned very cheaply. The person that said they mop with vinegar water is not far off, though for mopping its just water and, what I (remember) being directed to use, was the foaming shampoo in the dispensers in the showers. A water+vinegar mixture is used very often in cleaning with reused rags the head cleaner takes home and washes and returns for our use. I honestly can't remember what else is used, other than I believe the toilets were cleaned with baking soda, vinegar, and the wand - not 100% sure on that one. I started this gym with a higher paying job that was about 5 minutes down the street. I no longer work there, so the commute is very inconvenient for me. I wanted to cancel my membership. After what feels like 5 years in figuring out who to call to cancel my membership, the "only way" I can cancel it is if I MOVE addresses. 20-30 miles. I just want to cancel my membership. Oh, and if you bring someone in as a guest, they will harass your free guest the day they come and for months after, begging them to join the gym. ALSO it smells like sewage inside the gym in the mornings. Its a shame because it could really be a nice gym (it has a great atmosphere and location is good) but the customer service is dog sh*t. They want me to pay 11 more months that frankly I cannot even afford right now. read more

The slogan for this gym ought to be "By boomers, for boomers." You're not allowed to use chalk. Lighting is ridiculous- you'd think they're trying to blind you. And they try to sell you in their tshirts as if this is a gym you want to let people know you're at. Good for being the only option at the beach. read more

If you want to walk into a gym and think "what the heck is going on??" then this is the gym for you! The facility itself is pretty good aside from the vinegar water they use to mop the locker rooms and the outdoor equipment that makes me check if my tetanus shot is up to date. The staff however, is why this is a 2/5 star review. For some reason they seem to think it's acceptable for a random dog (not service related) to be roaming the gym and peeing on kettlebells....its not a zoo folks. It doesn't help much either when the head trainer has a habit and reputation of making advances on all of his female clients, married or not. Add on that staff will consistently order pizza or fast food to the front desk which in turn makes the whole gym smell like Long John Silvers and you've got not TruFit but ZooFit! Make sure you bring your noise cancelling headphones because the trainers are top of the line yappers! read more

Beware trying to cancel your membership. During covid this ( and many other gyms) defied the governor's orders that gyms were nonessential. I hoped to be able to return and foolishly kept paying my monthly fee, thinking I would "support" them. Now,because of medical issues, I need to cancel the membership. Had trouble getting through on phone to the "management" company who handles cancellations. I was told 30 days notice was required and submitted the correct information. Have now been billed for the next biannual "equipment" fee ( paid in advance each six months of which I will NOT be a member) and received an email that I will also be billed for August because they will bill BEFORE August 1st ( so will bill me before the full 30 days of when we spoke ). A racket. Beware the company that owns this place...in it for the money. The staff are decent people but company is not. read more

Went to try out a 5 day free trial and ended up getting interrogated on a mandatory tour of the gym and after sat us down to talk about memberships before I even got to try out the gym and after saying multiple times that I wanna ride out the free trial to determine if I want to get one. they keep pressuring you into buying a member ship after my buddy said he doesn't have the money at the time and they suggest that he just put it on his credit card, that's ridiculous. I will not be suggesting this gym to anyone. Y'all are just a bunch of money hungry ownership and your marketing techniques are invasive and if you knew anything about marketing and sales you'd know you are doing everything a sales person shouldn't in efforts to get someone to sign to your gym. It pushes away more future customers then brings in, nice gym but not worth the interrogation. I can go to planet fitness for $23.00 a month , bring a free guess and have the same personal training sessions and the same bells and whistles you all have. read more
