We have had TrueGreen service for several years. This June 17th we went on vacation & trueGreen did a tree and shrub treatment on the 19th . We came back home with a dead cypress in the front planting after several calls, they sent someone out to say yes the shrub was dead. We had our landscaper come out. He said it appeared they oversprayed and killed the shrub. The removal and replacement cost was $150.00 I contacted the company and sent them pictures and a copy of the invoice from my landscaper. After several more calls, the company essentially said they didn't know what "killed it". And offered no other offer, not even a good business practice like saying ".... As a good will gesture we will credit you (not even 1/2) towards next year's services....... VERY DISAPPOINTED! I will be looking for another service for next year! We got Trugreen out 2 summer's ago to take care of our lawn which had a few areas that needed seeded and this is what we now have. We don't know what they did but we had a decent yard and now its 90% mud. We've had several people out and now its going to cost us a fortune to fix it. This is our front yard and it's very embarrassing. They just kept coming out and I would have to tell the technicians to stop and was even told by several of them that probably the first few applications of weed killer was applied to heavy. read more

My service with Tru Green Lawn Service has been very good. I am notified before they come and the Technician checks in with me at my door. I have had no issues with my lawn care. I have started a new program this year for weeding my flower beds. Unfortuneately, this has not worked out. The weeds are mixed in with my plants and cannot be sprayed, they must be physically pulled out so this program really didn't benefit me. read more

This company has ruined my once beauitful lawn. Their coustomer service is horrible. They did two applications together twice instead of spacing them out over the season and because of this the last 2 aplications they did all at once killed our grass. I tried many times to contact them via the phone, email, and their app that i installed on my phone only to get a call back from a representative trying to sell me tree spraying. I voiced my concern with him and he sad thats a shame and i should speak to the next guy who comes out. He wouldn't forward my problem and i got the same result from the guy who did my last application. I not only have dead grass but also weeds. Common sence tells u two applications at one time will chemically burn and kill the grass. They told me it would look beautiful GAURANTEED!! Don't believe them it's all a sales pitch to sign you up. Read the Welcome Letter carefully. Telling an individual service provider that you are dissatisfied is not enough. Once you have signed for a year of treatment, TruGreen will continue to treat your lawn perpetually unless you call and cancel the contract. read more

We have had Tru Green for several years for lawn and garden treatments. This spring we lost a large beautiful holly bush and a weeping red bud which ended up having Scale on it which killed it. A manager came out today to look at them and could not have been more rude!!!! He said the holly was "too wet" whatever that means... it's in a large garden where everything else was fine. He agreed that there was Scale on the Weeping Red Bud but oh well...he just kept saying "people die.. plants die.. that's just the way it is". Seriously? That's your answer? We pay Tru Green a lot of money for their "expertise" and they couldn't identify that this tree was infested and offer us treatment options? No apologies... no empathy... no solutions. It is THE WORST customer service experience I have EVER had. We will be looking for a new service that we can trust and and one that has a focus on servicing their customers in a honorable way. read more
