I think the venue itself is actually not so bad, but the parking up there is annoying. One would say, take ride share, but they have to be in the same traffic like everyone else. Police directs traffic on the road, but not within the parking lots, hence people are literally fighting to just get out of the lot. I really need to like an artist for me to visit that venue and it's all due to parking. Maybe next time upgrades are being made, focus on the parking and traffic and not so much on the vip experience. read more

The staff we interacted with inside the amphitheater were kind and helpful. The seats are comfortable and spacious, though cup holders would definitely have been a game changer. I appreciated that drinks were available in the walkway in between sections of seats. Restrooms were clean and lines weren't bad even with a full audience. The 2 stars removed were solely due to parking. Absolutely the worst experience getting to a parking lot I have had at a music or sports venue. We paid for premier parking but it took 55 minutes to get to the lot and then to a space due to their traffic pattern (.8 miles). We should have parked at a lot farther out for a cheaper price but I was concerned about parking on grass in a sedan if there was inclement weather. Due to the set up, the traffic impacted people using ride share as well. Great venue overall! The location was ideal -- easy parking and just a short walk from the stadium. Security lines moved quickly and we got in without much of a wait. There was a solid variety of food and drink options too, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We had covered seating, which sounded like a win, but in August it turned into a downside -- once the sun went down we were no longer actually shielded, the fans didn't help at all, and with zero breeze it got unbearably hot. We were soaked in sweat by the end of the show. That said, having a seat with a great view of the stage was a big plus, and the sound quality was excellent. Every seat in the place seemed to have a good view, honestly, and the chairs themselves were comfortable. The crowd was great too. Not sure why so many reviews are giving this place 1 star -- our experience was mostly positive, just wish there was a better plan for beating the heat. read more

Recently attended a concert here for the first time in many years. Parking was easy and not too far of a walk to the gates. The security lines moved fairly fast. Once we were inside, we found our seats and then went to fill our water bottles at the Yeti water station. The water was supposed to be filtered but it wasn't very cold. Thumbs down for that. We had covered seats not too far from the stage so we were happy with our seats. Unfortunately however, there was bad weather on the night of the concert so they shut down the opening band & we had a long delay because of lightening. They also shut down concessions during the weather delay, which sucked. I understand trying to be safe but seriously, not sure that completely shutting down access to food & drinks during a prolonged weather delay really helped keep anyone safe. They need a better plan for situations like that. Overall though, the venue is not bad. read more

The positives are the seats aren't too bad. They have drink holders. If you are under the cover section, it isn't a bad experience. The bathrooms are pretty decent. The sound was good and the screens were awesome. The staff were friendly to us. Be prepared to bring some money, because the food and drinks are super expensive. They check your bags twice. Know the bag policy before you arrive. The worst part of this place is the parking. Do not bother with premiere parking. It takes you at least an hour to move an inch. There is no one really directing the cars out of the lots. They created these weird sections in each row that block you in. Regular parking will be just fine and it isn't that far from the door. What a wonderful venue! Everyone was so helpful and kind! The weather was perfect but I could see where you might want a poncho or a fan if you're sensitive to the heat. They had plenty of seating with umbrellas in the concession area. The food was really good for a music venue. I really liked the French fries and chicken strips. The top shelf cocktails were 10 out of 10! You'll pay a pretty penny but they were dang good! The sound, screens and lighting was fantastic for lawn seating. May 18th. Great venue for this season / temperature. Great for STING CONCERT. Very comfortable. Seats full but lawn seating closed, guess as this is a Monday night concert, even if it is STING. Traffic control / flow seems better than Raleigh's amphitheatre. Concession stands not open at full capacity, again not as huge of a crowd. Not as many selections as I would like to see but gets the job done. Make sure you have funds as event food and drink is exactly cost friendly. It getting adult beverages the person drinking needs to be present wirh ID just not the purchaser. Nice facility touches like huge ceiling fans, and covered lounge areas around concession stands. Me and my friend had a wonderful experience here for the Kesha concert. But we also paid for a lot of extra amenities. We got premier parking and got there super early. It was super close to the venue, which if you know that parking lot, you know is amazing. There were porta potties which was nice since we were tailgating. We also upgraded from lawn tickets to the viewing deck. It was so cute and fun! Just a little deck with stools and was in perfect view of the stage. We had plenty of space to dance and were much more comfy here than the lawn. Service at all the beverage stations was quick and friendly. And the bathrooms had attendants getting people in and out. I've been coming to this venue for years, and I've always quite enjoyed it. The view and sound is great from everywhere in the house. There are plenty of drink/snack stands, especially up on top of the lawn. There are plenty of restrooms and rarely a line for them. My only gripe, similar to others, is the astronomical drink prices. I know it's a common thing among all LiveNation venues, but whew... it's getting really ridiculous at this point. Aside from going broke just from having a couple of canned cocktails, I always have a nice, seamless experience here. read more

3 piece chicken tender, fries, and a drink is $40. That is insane. Parking is also pretty ridiculous. Theater itself is pretty decent though with great sounding loud speakers and big stage. Had one staff member tell my friend he couldn't bring his mask in like he has every other year. Then walked over to another entrance and they let us in. I also dropped my cup and the bottom broke out, i asked one lady for a new cup and showed her mine to which she rudely dismissed me. (This is a $10 drink btw that costs them less than $1 to produce with refills all night) Then i walked over to another counter and asked a different person for a new drink and she kindly gave it to me. After ten years of not seeing a concert at PNC, my husband and I decided to try again with the Teseschi Trucks show in October. After this experience, we will never return. I'll start with the good. We purchased Premier Parking, and so parking was a breeze. That was definitely worth the upgrade. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, too. Food and drinks were expectedly expensive, but I didn't like that they only served water from Liquid Death, which is served in a soda can that you can't cover. Definitely bring an empty water bottle (or Yeti or similar stainless bottle) to use their water filling stations and avoid the cost of buying water. We were on the left side of the covered seating area, near the stage. My biggest issues with our seats were - 1. Seating on the far left side doesn't give a good view of the stage. 2. Men and women alike were standing up dancing throughout the show, blocking our view. We didn't pay this much to have to watch the entire show on one of their TV screens. 3. People were smoking both cigarettes and pot in the covered seating area. I'm very sensitive to smoke, and this really bothered me. The staff were all milling about, and did nothing to stop this behavior. We much prefer seeing shows at Knight Theater to PNC. The shows there are definitely smaller bands, but the comfort is far better. We've had obscured views from standing guests at Knight Theater, too, but the lack of smoking enforcement at PNC was a deal-breaker for me. read more

We went for Grey Day Tour 2025 and it was a blast. However, we couldn't see well from our seats and we were right above the mix. Please be sure to read their website on the rules... Bags must be a certain size if they aren't clear, and NO CHAİNS including wallet chains. Traffic was hectic, but free parking and controlled by police so it went smoothly for us. Even entry went smoothly and the staff were so nice! İ was surprised to see all of the food options inside the gates. They don't take cash, only card by the way. PNC Pavilion was an awesome place to watch a concert! I went to the Jason Aldean concert on 8/22/25, and had a great time! I love how the seats in the venue are sloped backwards in a way that everybody present has a great view of the performer on stage, and how the video boards are situated in a way that greatly accentuates what's going on on stage. I also loved the concession stands, which moved quickly and had quite a large variety of beers and seltzers. All-in-all, PNC Pavilion was a great place to watch a concert, and I hope to be back soon! read more

Our closest music pavilion so it's literally a must for a big music fan! Food is good but it's way overpriced along with the drinks! We did have Kokos sausage dog, fries and a disposable cup of water that we got to refill for $42! The people that work there are mostly nice people but they are some that are really jerks. I have a medical condition that requires me to have to take medical equipment in and every single time as of lately they have made such a big deal out of me carrying a small black clutch with medical supplies. I guess they haven't heard of being ADA compliant! Next time I will just go to the box office to get my bag tagged for medical supplies. No need to drag me out of line to measure my medical supplies bag. Handicap parking is also a joke here as well. read more

Came to a concert on a Tuesday afternoon. Decided to take an Uber as I read horror stories about arriving and parking so decided that was the best option. Uber dropped us off right in front and we were able to wait in line until the place opened. Once you are inside it's easy to navigate. Clear plastic purses are allowed or small wallets or clutches. Because of the heat advisory, you can bring in one factory-sealed water bottle or an empty water bottle which you can fill up with water once inside. They sell food, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, and drinks of course. Very easy to navigate. There are workers everywhere helping and guiding you to your seat or lawn area. Overall great location. You will spend a pretty penny on drinks but that's understandable. read more

Attended a show here what a great venue only issue is the traffic getting in but once that is done you in for a great time. From getting through security to the guest staff helping at the gate it made the entry process great. Even though we were having issues pulling up our tickets on our phone the worker at the gate Tom was able to assist us in accessing our tickets and getting us in without much of a delay. All the employees were great. This Venue is laid out great with signs pointed you were to go, drinks were a little pricey but you expect that on a nite out. Weather was great and thankful since it's an out door venue but they do have seats under the roof too. All in all great nite out. read more

Exactly what you would expect from an outdoor concert venue! I'm cheap, so we've never done the seats under the pavilion. I have always just done lawn seats. They do not allow chairs anymore, but you can rent chairs or bring a blanket to sit on between sets. Since it is a venue, expect everything yo be overpriced and you won't be disappointed! Tickets are typically reasonable, depending on the show. Parking is free but can definitely be a disaster trying to leave with everyone else at the same time. Obviously, everything is subject to weather, but they are good about keeping social media updated with any weather related issues. I'm not sure where to start. The parking was easy which was nice since we've never been to this amphitheater before and didn't know what to expect. There is a good amount of options for restrooms located all around the outer parts surrounding the concert area. My husband wanted a beer and I ordered a water. The first odd thing was it came in a can. Not a fan. I want a lid on a bottle so there isn't an opening exposed. We walked away, and I opened my water and read the name. "Liquid Death." Underneath, was a skull, and below that, it read "murder your thirst." We got to our seats, and I started turning the can around reading all of it. Just refer to the photo included. For anyone who says this doesn't mean anything or it's a slogan against plastic, I'm sorry to tell you this is Satanic and we're in a spiritual battle every day. Please don't drink this and open yourself up to God knows what. You can go to the vendor area where you get food and pay $10 for a refillable cup where you can get unlimited water or any Pepsi product. The can is $6. That ish went straight in the trash. On top of that, there was satanic symbolism littered throughout most of the imaging on the screens before the first act. We were at a country concert yet there wasn't any country music played before the concert. I won't even go there. Know your audience. The restrooms had a lovely lady in there keeping things clean and helped the line go fast by calling out stall numbers that were open and free. That was great. The seating under the pavilion also had these massive fans that really made you as comfortable as can be with the heat. Those were definitely the pros. There was seating near us I have never seen before where you have a server, and you can order food and drinks. That was neat and convenient. If you have lawn seats, you cannot bring chairs. You have to rent them from the theater. There is also a bag policy. The concert itself was great which had nothing to do with the location. We don't live in the area but came for a concert in August 2025. I had been here with my daughter about 10-12 years ago but stayed at a different hotel and came from a different direction. It's always odd to me when these outdoor venues are located in somewhat remote or residential areas. We got there plenty early, parked in a gravel lot and followed the crowd over. We had eaten before so no need to buy overpriced food and drink. Our seats were in the pavilion and enjoyed a good performance with good sound and lights. Exiting was a little easier than I expected since GPS took us a different way back to our hotel. Overall, we had a positive experience but won't be back unless it's for a special performer that is not coming closer to us. read more

I'm not a bit fan of this venue because they're very unprofessional and all of the staff seem untrained. The actual venue layout is very cute and the pit was a great experience. However, the staff in the parking were slow and did not even scan our pass so we paid for no reason. Parking took 40 minutes to exit. The staff also didn't scan our fast lane pass so there was no reason to buy it. I did love the pit experience and love dancing around in the back of the pit. read more

Traveled from out of town to see Toto, Men at Work, and Christopher Cross on 8/14/25. I attend a lot of concerts at many different venues every summer. I must say PNC is one of my favorites. I purchased premier parking, which quickly separated me from the general parking pack. The staff worked well together to get us there quickly. Same experience getting out! We sat is Section 3, row X and were delighted to find out we had some cushioned seats with backs that tilted back slightly. Like an airplane seat, only better. Bathrooms were close by and clean. Refreshments are also abundant and nearby as well. All in all, a beautiful night of music at a very attractive venue. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. read more

One can of beer is $26! My friend had to pay $35 for a bag of popcorn and a soft drink! We chose not to eat because of the prices. Maybe thats why people do drugs while at PNC, I would hate to see what the cost would be for a cocktail! 90% of the port-a- pottys are locked so the employees would only have to clean 10 of them and none that I went in would flush so you get to use toilets that have been full of feces and urine for weeks. My bf said the health department should be called regarding the mens section too. Since no chairs can be brought in, you are forced to stand or sit on the wet ground or pay $15 for a chair rental (the single line was 130 people long). The PNC pavilion is similar to a janky fairground with prices more expensive than Disney World. You have to go through bag check, metal detectors and security scans to get in. Can not bring chairs, drinks, food, large blankets but of course you can bring mari-jane and vapes (we could smell it all around us). And of course, like everyone around us, we sat in the parkling lot for 48 minutes, then 29 minutes of 1 mph movement towards the paved road so an hour and 17 minutes to get out. read more

I enjoyed the Hilary Duff concert, however, the staff at this venue COMPLETELY ruined the experience for me. Mainly, the male security (if you could call it that?) guard with long brown hair berween section 8 and 9. First, when we were trying to get to our seats, 2 different staff members could not even direct us to our seats. They were clueless about the setup. Then, when my friends and I were trying to leave, the absolute worst concert experience I have ever had happened. My friend was pulling me to leave with her. And the man described in the staff fully blocked me from the aisle for no reason, would not let me go with my friend and leave. We were separated, and I was terrified to be alone. This man couldn't care less that he separated me from my friends and ride home. It made our trip home way longer. I would absolutely never come back to this venue because of that horrible experience with extremely rude staff. There are many ampitheatres with similar shows, this place is the absolute last on my list even though I live close by. Just completely incompetent, careless staff. read more

Enjoyed seeing Robin Thicke and Boyz II Men at PNC. Getting in, as expected, required some waiting on Pavillion Boulevard. Being early is your best bet. I pre-ordered parking when I purchased the tickets. Then, I checked the PNC web site to get the location of my parking section. Leaving the venue, cars were all over the place headed to exit the lot. There were attendants on hand to help you park in an orderly manner. However, there are no markers and no attendants were there after the concert to maintain order. Put on your patience or take your time leaving. After about 30 minutes, we seemed to move with some regularity. There were a couple attendants at one juncture and police directing existing traffic on Pavillion Boulevard. Tip: Download the LiveNation app so that you can access your parking bar code and tickets upon arrival. read more
