1) This is the first dispensary I have been to where there is a waiting room? "Wait in the lobby and I will check you in" And one person is working counter and checking people in. I come inside the door and there is a whole line of people just to be CHECKED IN. then another long wait to go into the room to the cashier. I don't understand this. This location used to be great. I already did and nothing has changed and no reply of "hey sorry we are working on it". do not give that dumb email address if you will not even follow up. I relocated to the Miami area from San Francisco, CA. After dealing with the mental gymnastics (and the costly expense) of obtaining a medical marijuana card within the state of Florida, Trulieve in Miami Gardens has been my primary source for flower, vape cartridges, and edibles. Now, I know I'm spoiled after living in California, where cannabis is legal medically and recreationally, but in my experience, the Trulieve company has a pretty unfortunate selection of flower strains, and they also seem to have some challenges with accurately tracking inventory. I am an indica-only user, and oftentimes when I place an order or stop by, there are very few (if any) indica options available. Most of the time, I place orders online and pick up in person. It's great. Order online, check-in from your cell phone, pay at pickup, and you're in-and-out in 10 minutes. You can also just walk-in, though the wait is usually longer. I have also ordered delivery a few times, which is convenient in a pinch, but the delivery window is literally "all day" so you have to be home the entire day which makes it less convenient. The biggest trouble with online orders is that occasionally I'll get a call stating that some of the items from my order are no longer available and there often aren't any suitable replacements available (again, going back to the fact that I'm an indica-only consumer). If you show up early on a day they just restocked, it's great - like a kid in a candy store. The best is to go on in person, early, on one of the big promo days (mondays & thursdays). On Mondays, they sell discounted eighths of flower called "Minis" and it's literally just smaller nugs rather than big fat ones. Fine by me cause I'm not wasting any weight on big stems. On Thursdays they sell "Ground" flower (which they sell out of VERY FAST every week) which includes 1/4 ounce of pre-ground flower. This is by far the best deal, despite the fact that it requires a little bit of effort to keep your flower from going stale once you've opened it. Some saran wrap between the lid and the jar opening usually does the trick for me. Above all the headaches and the hiccups I've had with Trulieve, their staff and customer service are their most redeeming quality, and the primary reason this review is four stars. The on-site staff, the delivery staff, and the online support team are ALWAYS super friendly, helpful, and just generally pleasant to interact with! During my first ever visit to the Miami Gardens location, the associate was super knowledgeable about the different strains in stock, which was great for me being a new customer. Most recently, I was helped by Krystal G. KRYSTAL GETS ALL FIVE STARS. She went above and beyond to help me. There were a few items missing from my pickup order that was placed online. I'm pretty particular about the flower strains that work for me, and she was so patient, helpful, and informative, describing each strain and it's properties to help me find the most suitable replacement to complete my order. All in all, if you have a medical card and are looking for a good source of cannabis, Trulieve has been great for me. read more

Decent weed, the staff is usually pretty nice and helpful even though they don't seem to be very knowledgeable about cannabis. It's a little frustrating that despite the medical designation, the reps still propagate some of the "bro-science" of weed culture instead of something more exact and scientific. I would double-check to make sure that their listings (Sativa/Indica/Hybrid) are accurate as sometimes they just categorize them on their effects--which makes no sense because a Sativa plant is a Sativa plant and effects don't change that. Their delivery system and customer service is far superior to other places like Growhealthy, though, so it's a small inconvenience to look up your weed before ordering just to not have to deal with the petty trifling of a GH rep. Also keep in mind Trulieve charges $15 for delivery, which is pretty steep in my opinion. read more
