So I gave Truly Nolen a superb review last year due to 2 specific employees response, James from the termite division and Rusty who I have been with for 20 years and who is spectacular. James restored my faith in their termite division and i accordingly sang & sing his praises . HOWEVER, after the treatment , termites literally came out of the woodwork. I learned that was to be expected. HOWEVER, when I found them crawling in my bed & NO exaggeration! I had just paid my 20th or so annual renewal when this occurred and I requested the supervisor call me since I could not sleep wondering if they would creep over me. It has been at least 2 months since the call. In fact the termites " left " and apparently the treatment worked. This review is intended for their supervisor , whom I will not name. While it's a big US business and you could get lost in the masses, their technician's are all well trained and professional. 100 year old house , there have been many termites over the years but they stay in top of it for me, lots of spot treatments but I've never had to tent. Yet ;) Prices are honestly reasonable for a termite bond and I don't really want to crawl around under my house or in the 4000 degree attic spraying stuff. Been dealing with underground termites since Feb. 2024. It is now Mar. 2025 and they are back with a vengeance. We contacted Truly Nolen at approx. 7p and their custumer service said they were unable to send someone. So, they said they would come out the next day at 9am. I called at and they said they would be there from 10a to Noon. There were termites coming out of a/c vents, eaves and windows last night. Someone came out to do an inspection two weeks ago and found nothing. There are different contracts for different issues, which is not affordable. There has to be some accountability from this company. We pay $375/year for termite inspections and $50/month for fumigation of only bugs. All of this to have the termites come back exactly a year later. read more

I have been with this company for many years. We have a annual contract for the termite treatments and plans and also inside spraying. They are always very professional and customer service at it's best. I had a situation where there was a miscommunication with one of the appointments and the Manager, Dave Batista, not only contacted me but handled it so kindly and professionally! In all the years we have been with them I have never had anyone that took care of the call or an appointment respond in any way but pleasant and helpful. Prior to reaching out to them and signing on with the 2 plans we had a horrible company and the owner use to literally tell ME what was going to take place with any situation that came up instead of listening to the customer and their complaints and requests. Had problems with the sugar ants everywhere, problems with the outside plants and it just goes on and on. We were so happy when we finally let them go and found Truly Nolen. This company knows their business. Miguel Guevara, the representative that the company sent, spotted the subterranean termites during his inspection while other companies totally missed it. He was also very thorough in explaining the procedure and the treatment needed to eradicate this infestation. On the day of the treatment Abel and David, the two technicians, left no stone unturned, literally, to the point that they found the source, an oak tree on our property. If they wouldn't have found the infested tree, and treated it, the termites would have killed it and that would have been heart breaking and dangerous. They were extremely thorough, detailed, professional and unbelievably hard working. My husband and I were so impressed that we asked how can these two young men get any recognition, so here we are in Yelp letting anyone that reads this know that they were great and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. Truly Nolen cares about customer satisfaction and success at doing what they were hired to do. After spending $750 dollars for them to handle a horrific mice infestation, they never managed to capture a single rodent. They sent a technician to patch up a few exterior holes, and set traps in my crawl space. After two weeks, several technicians have come by and not one mouse did they manage to capture..At one time, one of the techs thought my house had an attic, instead of the crawl space, and even refused to check the crawl space traps that were set by the first tech, so why was he even come to my house? Being pregnant and desperate, my husband and I went to home depot and bought traps of our own since the majority of droppings were in the kitchen. In two days, we killed well over 15, basically the entire the brood, reusing a tomkat snap trap and peanut butter. After our first weekend of slaughtering the mice, yet another tech came by to set more traps, except their's are massive. I showed them the dumpster of baby mice we had killed over the weekend, and told them their bait and traps weren't right for the job. They insisted on using these huge traps with beef jerky for bait. I've emailed the woman who came to my house originally for the estimate, the woman i paid, who said she'd be checking on the house periodically. She's never returned an email or called me to check in like she said she would....After more days of hearing our traps going off, and their's continuing to turn up empty.... I am more than angered. I'm fuming. The mice seem to finally have died off after the two weeks BY OUR TRAPS NOT THEIRS. Don't waste your money on them to rid your house of mice. read more

I've been a customer of Truly Nolen for about two months and I have to say the are very professional when you contact them and they listen to your concern and have always sent someone to help with the problem I have been having with aunts and roaches. Reason for my 1 star is to express my frustration with this company. I paid upfront for service which included rodent removal and sanitation. At time of contract, It was agreed that the service would be done after 5pm on weekdays due to our work schedule: fist day, the technician showed up at 12pm and had to leave since no one was home, after establishing a Mon, Wed, Friday schedule, third week into this service, the technician doesn't show up on one of those days stating that the company forgot to schedule me, Final sanitation service came up, I was scheduled during the week, left work early, had to get the pets and family out of the house, and no one showed up, again, the technician told me he forgot to schedule me, At this time, I called for a manager and was assured that another technician would come out on Saturday, I was confirmed for 10am appointment to give me time to get everyone out of the house again and the technician shows up at 8am waking up everyone in the house. This was my final straw!, but was able to get the service done by having the technician come back 2 hours later. Two weeks later I receive a bill for $300 for a service which was paid up front. Warning...............Do not do business with this company unless you don't mind having your time wasted and be double billed. The new guy came one month late after the scheduled appointment and after his first visit, I started to seeing both live and dead roaches around the house. I called and left a message and the service manager came out. I found him to be arrogant, condescending and argumentative. I don't usually write reviews but I am feeling very frustrated with Truly Nolen. Their customer service is horrible. I've been a Truly Nolen customer for years. And even though my technician Pablo is great, the service and treatment the offices (specially the local office at Cutler Bay) have provided have been a NIGHTMARE. It all started when they increased my rates multiple times in one year despite the fact that I am an excellent customer who never calls the technician in except on their scheduled service. I tried calling the manager at my local Cutler Bay office to request my rates to go back to the original price but the manager, who never bothered to speak to me, sent a message with the phone attendant saying no. He would only decrease it by two dollars. When I said I wanted to cancel they said I would have to pay $118.00. I then said I would keep the plan until the end of the quarter so once again I called to cancel and they are billing me for $118.00 for the whole quarter despite the fact that I cancelled at the beginning of the quarter. They stated a manager would call me the day after cancelling and I am still waiting for that call. Oh and by the way if you check prices online as a new customer you can get a better rate than if you are an excellent long term customer. Ever since the first increase (before cancelling) I have called the Arizona office numerous times, left messages for managers at the Arizona and the local Cutler Bay office and no one calls me back. They keep saying they will and I have a $118 bill waiting to be paid (for the full quarter) but my plan is cancelled. Finally someone by the name of Christine called me a few days ago and said she would call back and once again never did. In the meantime I have a $118.00 bill that I don't believe I should pay. I will post this everywhere on social media until they resolve this issue. I will also write to the CEO or whoever I have to in order to get this resolved. I am still waiting for a callback. I initially tried to keep the account but they did not work with me, never returned calls; and frankly this has been the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. read more

Requested an estimate for spot treatment of local termite infestation, and was told by Darwin at the Doral Office that Truly Nolen did perform spot treatments for termites. During the estimate appointment, the inspector stated that Truly Nolen did not perform spot treatments because they could not guarantee this treatment, and offered a comprehensive evaluation for whole house fumigation. This business tactic of sending an inspector out to sell a whole house fumigation job when the customer requested and was willing to accept the risk of spot treatment was unappreciated, and a waste of the customer's time. read more

Used Truly Nolen for 15 yeears with no problem. This year i got postcards with date of appointment, then got abphone call with a changed date and the exterminator shows up at yet a third time. Happened in September, happened in December. I'm using another exterminator service; Truly Nolen owes me for half of my prepaid year, but won't respond to mail requests. read more

Termite service is lacking in technician and timely service. I had an annual termite service agreement, and during peak termite season I was continuing to have swarms and waited 4+ weeks for a technician on multiple occasions. The pest service is better, but I still had to have intermittent visits for pest control outside of my quarterly contract. At each quarterly visit, the technician verbally confirmed that the service was included in our contract which was a lie because we were charged $99 for a service we were told was free. I tried to dispute the claim and received no responses from the local office. No luck getting any managers to call you back, and the call center is not local or helpful. My bill was sent to collections and I'm currently trying to dispute the charge. I don't appreciate Truly Nolen lying and then charging me for a service I didn't agree to. Take your money and service to an honest company elsewhere!!! read more

I had very bad service from this company. Every time they came out, the insects were worse, and worse. I mentioned I saw a couple of ants in the bathroom; the tech would not treat the room or outside of it, because it had already been done for the quarterly. By the afternoon, the floor was swarming with hundreds of ants, and I keep a clean house. They have been out 3 times, and I still have insects. I had another company for 25 years that was just bought out recently, and I never had bugs with that company. I have chosen to use a smaller company since they need the business and will probably do a better job. I hope I get some of my deposit back. I had an appointment time range from 9-11am Friday July 3, 2015 for free inspection as new customer. The appointment was confirmed by me yesterday. They had my correct phone numbers. This morning they were a no show, and disgustingly I did not receive a phone call! When I tried to call after 11:30, hold time was over 10 minutes, all day!! I was told that they would put a significant number of traps for rodents and they would come out every day to check them. They put a total of 3 traps and came two times in 8 days and when I complained they said that's what was in the agreement. No where can I find that in the agreement plus what matters is what their representative Manny Sanchez promised which was to come out every day!!! I now believe there wasn't a rodent issue and they ran with the extra $1800 by scaring me. read more

I have had a termite issue since I bought my house 2 years ago. Bought the truly nolan contract from the previous owners. The termite issue got worse and worse until this spring they said they would tent. 8/3 4 months later they are due to arrive. Guess what, apparently 6-8 mile winds are "too windy". I was prepared and in a hotel with my pets. they didnt even bring equipment to do the work and told me they would "give it another stab later in the week". However every year upon renewal there was a problem with their billing me an additional fee. Every year they would clear the error and every following year the error would reappear.
