I will be recommending Royal Pest to all my friends in the area. I don't usually write very many reviews, but I feel like this is a business that I'm willing to spend a little time to write one. I'm so pleased with my pest service. Every time they come to spray my lawn or my interior, they are so kind and respectful. In addition if I ever have any problems, a quick call to the office is always answered by a very kind lady Marcy who is a true gem. For example, I called to mention that I saw some small pests indoors, and they were there within the week for an extra spray. Also, I am incredibly displeased with another service I bought prior to knowing royal pest, I'm sure everyone is familiar with Terminix. I already paid the initiation fee for termite control with Terminix, which was around $6000 for doing bait traps, but that is kind of where their service ended. Despite multiple calls to them, I haven't had any luck with having them come out a second time. I was thinking about switching to Royal pest for my termite control however, I already paid the initiation fee with Terminix and it doesn't really make sense to switch back over since I'm only paying a small continuation fee. We use Royal Pest and Termite for our regular pest control service and are very happy with the entire team. Recently we encountered an issue with a critter in our ceiling. The responded right away. It took a little while to determine where and what it was but thankfully they successfully extracted our unwanted visitor. This company has been doing my bi-monthly pest and termite service for quite some time. Anytime I call, they know who I am and always greet me so kindly! They always call and let me know they're on their way when doing my service and offer to do any other treatments I may need. I had a small critter get into my dryer vent this week. HORRIBLE!!!! I'll never recommend them to anyone! I waited all day for a job that was never done. I wonder who wrote all these 5 star reviews... I contacted this company due to a termite infestation I had at my house. They were very responsive, and sent me a contract to sign. When I got the contract I noticed the address was wrong so I corrected it and wrote an email to the company letting them know the address was wrong. I also noticed "the shed" was not included as it was in the quote so I added it and also let them know. The company never sent anyone out to my property. I thought maybe that was normal since I had never tented my house in the past, and some companies are vert techy and maybe they used google map or looked at the property online. The tenting was set for Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. My husband and I went to bed the day before at around 2 am packing all of our things, and our son's things. We also had to find a place and made arrangements to stay outside of the property for 3 days. The day of the tenting, it was raining a lot so it was moved to 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, then 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, then 5:00 pm. I was in contact with Chris all day. At that point, I contacted the company to express my dissatisfaction. Melissa assured me that they could still provide quality work because the reps were used to the type of job, and that I had to be patient, etc.. so I said: ok, maybe this is how it works, I don't want them rushing at another person's house and doing a bad job so I'll wait. At 6:30 pm a man comes to my house. I walk out for the first time to meet him, and he has no shirt on, flip flops, and gold teeth. First impression. But whatever, although I didn't think it was professional, and kind of disrespectful considering it was the first time we ever met, I wasn't going to judge anyone based on their appearance and just wanted to get the job done. I showed him what I needed and he said it was too LATE and he couldn't do it also because what I was requesting was not on his paper work. It wasn't his fault. I woluldn't have wanted to do it either after working all day and not even having it as part of the job. We both called the company, no one knew what went wrong, everyone was on a different page, and ultimately the guy left my house after waiting for approximately 35 mins while I was on the phone with the company. Point is... I will never recommend them to anyone. They wasted my time and my money. This is not the way a company should do business. I felt disrespected to say the least. Thankfully my card was never charged. Melissa and Chris were nice; however, nice is not what I needed, I needed a competent company to get the job done. Unfortunately that was not them. They came to give me a quote. Total rip off. Would never use. Had one little termite spot on stairs in a 4 year old house and he tried to tell me we had to tent and if I only wanted the one spot done it would be like shooting in the dark. Guy gave me one price for the one spot, then came back in a few min later and practically doubled it because he talked to his manager. The guy couldn't even find the termite hole. I had another guy come the next day, Mark from Hugh Turner, found the source in two minutes shot it up in a few places, sealed it up and charged me 1/2 of the original price the guy from Royal quoted me. Original service was completed last year 02/2020. No issues other than lack of communication on food / beverage storage or containment during service. Complaint of ''Strong Arm Renewal Notice'' after one year of service the company sends out a renewal bill demand for $200.00 due immediately. The notice came in twice in the same month this year 02/2021. After contact the woman in charge of this from the company called and tried to talk her way out of ''Strong Arm Renewal Notice'' tactic and did not offer an explanation except that this was the location for service so they keep sending due invoices. Reminder that this has originally been set up by my contractor last year and inclusively paid in full by their accounting department. They have that information but choose to ''pester'' & demand monies from the service location. I offered a suggestion that they change their invoicing i.e. ''Strong Arm Renewal Notice''. Especially in this day and age where much ''FRAUD & SCAMS'' are evident. The woman only offered another lame explanation rather than agree that this is a problem and find a resolution. BUYWER BEWARE!! One Year later the company attempts to collect a ''RENEWAL NOTICE'' via a bill invoiced to Pay Immediately. THIS IS A SCAM & STRONG ARM TACTIC(S) - The Owners of this firm should be aware & change this. read more

The young man showed up to my door speaking on his cell phone. I had to wait until he told the other person that he'll call them back because he was at a customer's house. So pretty bad start. Once in my home he kind of just stared at me...so to break the awkwardness I'm like "ok do you want to see where I saw the termite swarm at?" ...I then walk him to the backyard where I have a wooden structure where he proceeds to knock on the wood in a couple of spots. Then he tells me he needs to see a dead one. I show him a super detailed up-close picture of one and also the swarm but he says he still needs to find a wing. He starts to look around a little but can't seem to find one. I watch for a while when I finally step in and find some right away. (I'm thinking the pro knows exactly where to look. I just used common sense.) He looks at them and tells me they're dry-wood termites then asks me what I want to do? I'm thinking, I called YOU so you can tell me what to do. This whole time I'm expecting a real pro, full of knowledge and experience to school me, but what I got is what seemed like a nice young man that had no idea what he was doing. For this I blame the company. Since he seems baffled as to how to handle this termite issue outside I said "let's go inside and see about the roach issue". Again, he asks me to see a dead one. I said I didn't know I had to keep the corpses around but that I know they are the German kind. He then gets his little flashlight and looks under the overlapping portion of my granite counter top......that's it! From that he comes to the conclusion that I don't have a roach infestation. I continued at this point to voice my concern for having termites in the house and asking if there are ways to prevent an infestation from the swarm outside and if he thinks I have any in the house and he says that it's inevitable and there is nothing I can do but wait until it happens then tent in which at that point I won't have termites for 10 years however they only guarantee for two. (Go figure) I was expecting a real inspection with definitive solutions but I received neither. Besides the brief time at the wooden structure in the yard, we never left the kitchen except for 15 minutes later when I walked him to the door. So for craps and giggles I ask how much to kill and maintain the "regular" bugs and he says anywhere from $150 to $250 upfront and $80 every two months. I said "$250?" and he says "it can go up to $500". I say ok how much for MY situation and he responds $150. I have no idea how he came to this # it seems like he was shooting off the hip. I obviously will not be doing business with them. Again, I blame the company and not the young man they sent, untrained and unrepaired. That was my experience at 8am on Saturday morning. I was giving a reasonable inspection time and they came out as promised but the "inspection" was 1-2-3 which I'm ok with because the property isn't huge and in their expertise, I'm sure they could spot right away the issue. But then I was told I would be given a report and a quote within 48 hours (which I thought was insane because the guy had his iPad in his hand and I'm sure he could have just typed it up on the spot...especially because the whole "inspection" was less than 5 mins.) He did verbally tell me a ballpark pricing (which was higher than the competition) But then I never heard back from them. No email no phone call nothing. read more
