I had been a loyal patient at Ritchie Chiropractic for over five years. Until recently, I had…read morenothing but positive experiences--friendly faces, excellent care, and I always left feeling better after my adjustments. Unfortunately, things have changed--and not for the better. Since Savannah Thomas started working there, the level of service has noticeably declined. Savannah lacks basic customer service standards--rarely smiles, barely acknowledges patients upon arrival, and carries an attitude that makes you feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued client. On multiple occasions, I've overheard other patients expressing the same frustrations, saying things like, "I miss Joanne--she always made us feel welcome, she was so happy, kind, and caring," or "Why does it always seem like she's having a bad day?" Let's not forget--most people visiting a chiropractor are dealing with pain or recovering from accidents. Compassion matters. The last thing you want to hear is a dismissive, "Like I said, these are the time slots available," with no effort to help. There was zero attempt to think outside the box or even say, "Let me talk to the doctor and get back to you." A little empathy goes a long way. After this particularly frustrating interaction, I voiced how unprofessional and unnecessary her attitude was during such a stressful time. To my shock, the doctor called me back over two hours later--only to tell me I was "not a good fit" for the practice and should go elsewhere. That's not how you handle long-time patients, especially when the issue is an employee's behavior that many clients have noticed. Honestly, it made me realize why he wasn't able to retain great staff like Joanne. With years of HR experience across three branches, I understand standing by your team--but there's also a responsibility to listen, take feedback seriously, and retrain when necessary. Unfortunately, the doctor didn't want to hear any of it. He made it clear they'd be "just fine," and dismissed my concerns entirely. That's his opinion--and this is mine, which I feel others deserve to know. In hindsight, they did me a favor. I've since found Active Life Chiropractic, and the difference is night and day. The care is more personalized, the team is professional and compassionate, the doctor is incredibly experienced, and the pricing is better. Best of all--they still handle the insurance paperwork for you, something Ritchie Chiropractic stopped doing a little over a year ago. If you're looking for a chiropractor who truly values your time, health, and well-being--go elsewhere. Don't settle for being just another transaction. Put your money in a place that actually cares.

I feel more than just another patient to them. I have a very physical job which over time caused major pain in my neck and Dr Ritchie was able to take the time and go over my x-rays and treatment plan that would fit my needs the best. I also wanted to personally shout out the massage therapist Lindsey. I had always been nervous before her to get massages done, but she completely changed that for me. Her attention to specific spots in my neck and back has made me feel better after every massage. Dr. Ritchie also took time to redo x-rays for me when something dropped on my neck at work and he realized that the atlas adjustments weren't being effective anymore. This place has truly changed my life from worrying about my neck pain to not even noticing anything there. I am truly grateful for the staff at Ritchie Chiropractic for making my first experience with a chiropractor a wonderful one!

My doctor prior to seeing Jennifer had to close the facility in Rock Hill during Covid and maintained his office in Fort Mill. He wasn't able to transfer patients so this is how I reached out to Jennifer. I have been seeing Jennifer for about 2 years. I was already diagnosed and my medications were on track prior to visiting her. At the beginning to the end my visit with Jennifer it never lasted over 10 minutes. I would express things going on in my life she would always refer me to a different doctor. After the beginning of this year during my visit with Jennifer once again received a referral as I was telling her how I was doing. She filled my meds for 6 months and scheduled my next appointment for 6 months. As this was the norm for the past 2 years. As a person you become to know your body and mind. I knew I was overwhelmed and needed a doctor that would listen to me and not give me a referral. I reached out to my prior doctor. He was able to receive a new patient. I am so thankful!!!! At my first visit with him and being allowed to talk and discuss how I was doing. Having a back and forth conversation. Dr. -- tweaked my medications. If Jennifer would have taken the time to listen and not refer me. Stop treating me as a 10 minute patient, maybe just maybe she would have realized what was happening with my medicines. I thought in her medical field she was to listen and understand the person in order to help them. Please when searching for a doctor in any field of medicine please read the reviews. Reviews are very important whether positive or negative.

I told her I had exactly 7 minutes left on my GPS after driving an hour to be there. she placed me on hold, came back and said that should be fine just get here. I walked in at 7 minutes past my appointment time, and the doctor refused to see me. More than overwhelmed, I started to cry and the receptionist looked nothing short of annoyed with me. they would not refund my $125 deposit for the appointment. they have an $85 reschedule fee for being more than 5 minutes late. If you plan to see this doctor, make absolutely SURE that nothing out of your control keeps you from being there exactly on time or you will be treated horribly.
