The company was in neighborhood and offered to quote tree trimming which we definitely needed done and had been on our project list. Per our request they removed 5 very large trees and trimmed several large trees. They worked very efficiently without driving any equipment on the lawn and did a pretty good job of cleanup. Arrangements were made to have stumps ground by another company- he came later that day to complete the job. We feel the price was fair for the amount of work done. Some previous reviews commented on language barrier. Yes, they are Hispanic but we could communicate with some words and some gestures. No problem. read more

This company is horrible! They took advantage of my 93 year old father who has dementia, and took him for thousands of dollars for services that were absolutely unnecessary. They trimmed trees that had no need to be trimmed, all the while talking about what a great deal he was getting. If my brother hadn't been given a heads up and gotten over there, they wouldn't even have done half of what was done. It made zero difference to them that my dad didn't understand what was happening at all, or that the work that was done wasn't needed by any stretch of the imagination. To make matters even worse, there were bushes that actually did need trimming that weren't even included! I couldn't live with myself if I had done this to anyone, let alone someone who didn't even remember the next day that anyone was there. read more

We needed a lot of dead wood clearing and canopy elevation. They had a huge crew that had been working down the street and completed my work in just about 4 hours. They are so skilled! The crew was very professional and very polite. Most of them didn't speak much English but you could tell they knew what they were doing. And every single person on the crew smiled and said hi. We had at least 2 climbers who took down some very tall choke cherries. It was like watching true trapeze artists although they were very conscientious about using safety gear. Then, before they left everything was so neat and clean! They cut the choke cherries into 18 in logs and piled them for firewood and raked up all of the twigs and little branches, even in the snow! I felt the price was quite fair and when I saw all of the work and care they were taking of my property, it was worth every dime. Trumpp Tree Service solicited work in our neighborhood. I negotiated a price with Justin. The crew showed up on time but, as others have mentioned, only one worker spoke some English, making communication about the job difficult. They attempted to shortcut the job by throwing limbs and brush in the back of our lot, which is heavily treed. After I asked them not to do this, they hauled the debris to the front yard for chipping, which was done the next day. They asked for water and Coke, which I provided. They didn't drink it while they were working, the crew took the case of water and 8-pack of soda with them. Unusual, but what are you going to do? They asked for a bonus, which I declined. After the crew left, I discovered a large limb they cut off an oak fell on a fence and damaged it. They left the limb hanging on the fence and I noticed it when leaves fell a couple weeks later. I called Justin, the original contact. He never returned the call. I contacted the other number on their flier. "Mike the Tree Guy" said a crew would be out to remove the limb, cut it up, and haul it away. Never happened. I do not recommend Trumpp Tree Service. If they come to your door, get another estimate. read more

Similar to the another review, they had quite a large crew and only one spoke English.. They took down two large trees and trimmed the rest. They were quick, reasonably priced (after negotiation) And did a great job with the cleanup. They said they were licensed and had Worker's Comp. but I'm not 100% sure of that. read more

They took down a large oak tree near our pool. Big crew and yes, per some other reviews, not many spoke much english. They were all hard workers and did a good job. We did have a section of pool fence get damaged and the owners were responsive to our claim and deducted the repair amount from our quote. Overall and good experience. read more

I just have to tell you that in the Winter time when you have a tree removed you are afraid your yard is going to be ripped up. These guys were amazing! They removed all the branches the brush the wood and the cleanup was beautiful. They did it in a very timely manner and at a very nice price! You might think there are a little rough around the edges ! Lol but don't judge a book by its cover. They were amazing! read more

Ok so for the work done I would give these guys 5 stars, While nobody in the working crew spoke english, they took down a very large oak tree right near our house quickly and safely and cleaned up well. As for the business side of things.... a little sketchy. Was told I could pay with credit card, then nobody can take a credit card and then when I called the guy who gave me his card and quoted his words back to him he said "oh yeah i did say that... well sorry check or cash only" Then they wanted the check made out to one of the crew members personally rather than to the company, called the guy back and told him I was making the check out to the company and he said that was cool. They did provide proof of insurance when asked and I think if there was a little more professionalism on the business end they would probably get a lot more business read more

Horrible company, extremely rude and no care for anything. Blocked an entire residential street, sat and leaned on other neighbors vehicles. Parked in neighbors driveways and the elderly couple across the street couldn't even get to their hoise. They dropped branches across our neighbors yard and left them, these aren't the neighbors having work done either. Scum bag company. The police were called by the elderly couple since the company told them they weren't moving their trucks. Who does that to people. The gentleman uses a walker and they didn't care. read more

Did good work, but a sketchy business. No paperwork, ie. estimates, quotes, invoice was provided. Only verbal agreement of work and price. We provided payment with a check made out to the business, but they asked for it to be made out to an individual (sketchy). None of the workers spoke understandable english. read more
