Had them remove 2 tall Hickory trees and trim another 6 tall Hickory trees. Met with Dylan and thought pricing was fair, a handshake and the crew was there the next day climbing and cutting, total job was done in about 2 hours, left lawn and area unscathed. I had a very similar experience to Susan M. Dylan estimated taking down my tree. They provided a large quote of $5,000. I had a different company quote the job which included taking down the tree and removing plants in the area. I tried to cancel the job, because I wanted to hire the other company. But they showed up at my house so fast. Dylan assured me that they could pull up the plants. They took down the tree. The crew was largely unsupervised. They pulled out the plants, but left the roots. They also pulled up all of my hard wired landscaping lights. They have crazy unresponsive and so many excuses. The crew left discarded bottles and cans all over the property. I am working on filing official complaints and filling with the court, but what a pain. I don't want to do any of this. However, I do want my landscaping lights to be working again. They completely destroyed my back yard. And this job was $5,500. My mistake, paying them before I fully inspected the work. But were they quick get the money. They really took advantage of me. I strongly don't recommend hiring this company. And it really is a shame because this was easy, easy to fix. And they do need to supervise their team. And do not stand by their work. They aren't registered with the Better Business Bureau. Nor I have I found their licensing company. Just by chance they were working two doors down and came to my house and asked about taking out some trees for us. We've been getting a few quotes and they were all over the place. This company was towards the low end in price and the representatives had a pretty nice vibe. They came in the next day and took out the five trees that needed to go immediately. The crew was very nice, professional and polite. They were diligently doing exactly the service that I needed. They took the trees down very low to the ground. was perfect. N & R crew completed tree trim work in my front yard on 12/27/25. Since Dillon and Cody (owners) were at my home waiting for their crew an hour, I assumed they would supervise the work - a $1,000 job. This was not the case. Since no one on their crew speaks English - only Spanish - communication was not possible. The trim work was done; however, landscaping was destroyed in my front yard. I immediately let Cody know via text that my metal trellis was damaged through his crew attempting to pull it out of the frozen ground. This broke the structure at the point where the upper structure met the metal stakes that are twelve inches into the ground. In addition, my two porcelain vines growing on the structure were cut and the growth removed twelve inches from the ground. I am guessing their crew did not realize Michigan ground freezes hard in winter and does not release things - another reason supervision is critical. Initially Dillon and Cody were apologetic and promised to make my landscaping whole again however they did not do so and stopped responding to my text messages. Hired N&R Outdoor Solutions to trim five trees on my property near the house. They removed the branches we agreed on and cleaned the area after they where done. The climber looked experienced and was cautious with roping and dropping the limbs. I dealt with Nick and his price was very fair, will use again. read more
