My care and surgery from Dr. Trumper was excellent. Ditto for 6 weeks of PT. None of it was easy but they did their part and I did mine.

Beginning June 3, 2021, I started seeing Dr. Abrahamson, at the suggestion of my doctor, who by the…read moreway, I have left. He told me that he typically had "80% improvement for 80% of the people he treated. My first session of stem cell injections, with stem cells (he said) taken from my blood, along with hyaluronic acid as I recall, cost me $6,260. My next session, on June 30th, cost me another $6, 250. On July 7, I paid $1,300 for a "Plasma Rich Protein" injection, supposedly to stimulate cellular production. I continued regular treatments over the next 10 months, with payments totaling $ 18,493.00. When I was last in his office about a month ago, I stood at his receptionist's window waiting patiently while four chattering women chattered at a back desk, ignoring me. I finally got their attention, apparently making them mad, because one of them told the Dr. that I had "touched her shoulder". Well, that's possible . . . when I am talking with people, men or women, I will often touch them during the conversation. So, I can not dispute that. But I say "big deal". Anyway, after that session (for which he dinged me ANOTHER $1,625), he told me that although "he liked me" (I guess so!), he wouldn't see me again because I had "touched his employee's shoulder". I call BS! He had done all he could with his bogus stem cell injections (STILL not FDA approved, because "the cells may mutate which could cause tumors") Gulp! But he does them anyway. And now I see his method: Milk the poor sap with the hurting knees, shoulder, whatever, for all he can get, then kick him loose with any bogus excuse he can come up with. A few days ago I had a hyaluronic acid injection in my shoulder from a Humana doctor. I have had immediate relief, with absolutely NO cost to me . . . it was covered under my insurance. My advice to you, should you be seeking this opportunist's services, is to not. Do your research, then try something that is FDA approved, because that means it is tried and true!

He came in the front door while I was waiting. No receptionist. EXTREMELY distracted. Left the exam room several times to check on a different patient. (How did he have another patient there if he just came in the front door?) Did a nonchalant "exam". Never followed up on the referral he said he would provide me with-- for braces and physical therapy. Did not answer messages after my visit. Do NOT go to this doctor. Oh, and did I mention I just got a bill 5 weeks later?! For $250.00, for what? He didn't even take my blood pressure! Stay away, far away.

We did have to wait in the room for a while for the doctor, but we were just thankful they squeezed us in so she could get relief. Dr. Anderson was friendly and knowledgeable and the assistant was also. They were patient and helpful for my daughters and my other 2 kids that had to come with us. The follow up appointment was a little disappointing though. The assistant just took the bandaid off, looked at it and said it looks fine but I needed to clean out some scabbing. I told her I tried to but couldn't because I wasn't sure what needed to come out and what didn't. Instead of offering to show me or do it, she just dismissed us and left the room. If it wasn't for that experience, I'd give 5 stars instead of 4.

I do not recommend this place for sports injuries. I have a history of stress fractures (4 in the…read morepast 4 years) & was hopeful that the nagging pain in my foot was not a bone injury when I visited Dr Anderson. He assured me that the region I was feeling pain could not possibly be a stress fracture & did not order an MRI. Instead, he suggested that we do a little trial and error with steroid injections to try to figure out the exact source of pain and cause. After 2 appointments getting my foot pumped full of steroids, the pain had not really gone away, and I asked my primary care physician for an MRI referral. The image showed a stress fracture at the base of the 4th metatarsal. Unfortunately (and unknown to me at the time), fracture healing is SLOWED by steroid injections. So, it is now three months later, and my broken metatarsal is still broken with about the same amount of pain, and I am unable to return to weight-bearing athletics - probably due to the fact that I let Dr Anderson inject me with steroids, which hindered my body's ability to heal. In retrospect, I am very angry. If you are a foot doctor & a patient walks in the door saying: "I'm a marathon runner & this is probably a stress fracture. I'm unusually prone to fractures, and I have had four in the past 4 years," then you should listen to your patient and at least order an image to rule out the most likely cause of pain before experimenting in ways that could do lasting damage.
