Dr. Steele is great if you want a doc who doesn't listen, make eye contact, or come out from behind her computer screen. She does like to just prescribe anything to get you out the door. Dr. Kapoor was a visit because my PCP was unavailable. She contradicted the diagnosis I'd received a week earlier (this was to be follow-up for pneumonia) and told me i had asthma problems because I have animals. She told me to get rid of my animals and prescribed medication for reflux, because I am overweight. What an idiot! Our doctor now is Thuy Le-Rathell. She is wonderful, caring and competent. Unfortunately, she left for vacation and my husband needed a maintenance medication refilled. It took literally over 10 phone calls to their office, the insurance company and the pharmacy to get it straightened out. The doc who issued the refill did it first without a diagnosis code, then with an address for UPMC in Pittsburgh that the pharmacy could not accommodate. Thank heavens for the insurance company concierge! Save yourself the time and frustration. Go elsewhere. They don't give a damn.

You can't find better care in the area! My two sons also go to him, and one of those sons only goes to a doctor unless if it's almost a life and death need! He actually like Dr Syed. The office is very clean, and you are taken back for your appointment at a very timely fashion.

Dr. Costa is nonjudgmental and I was always able to get an appointment within 24 hours if I was sick. She always takes time to answer questions, and I always had a LOT of them. We made decisions about my health care together. She got to know me and treated me like the kind of patient I want to be -- someone who takes part in healthcare decisions, not someone who blindly follows doctor's orders without understanding the reasons and the risks. She even supported me when I said I wanted to try to manage my diabetes with diet and exercise instead of the medication she wanted to prescribe. I like Dr. Costa so much that for a year after I moved I kept her as my doctor even though it meant driving two hours each way to appointments! That didn't work out so well when I was really sick so I had to break down and find a doctor locally. (She did prescribe for me over the phone, though, when I was sick and unable to make the drive.) No charge for calling in prescriptions, unlike my current doctor who charges 25 bucks! They maintain records on a computerized system (also unlike my current doc who uses paper records). It makes it easy for them to compare test results to track progress. One complaint: when I did change doctors I asked for a copy of my medical records and they cost more than 100 bucks! They had to be ordered through some other company that manages records requests. I suspect (though I'm not sure) that I could've had them directly sent to my new doctor perhaps at no charge) but I wanted a copy myself as well. I feel like the charge is unreasonable because my insurance company and I already paid for the creation of the records. I understand a small copying fee, like 20 cents a page or something to cover costs, but this ended up being much, much more than that per page. Anyway, 5 stars for Dr. Costa, zero stars for the office policy on paying for records.

They had to take me to the ER that night. So many broken promises and the recruitment team does nothing but lie to get you there. I was stranded in a different state with no way home on a freezing night. All staff does is tell you different things. I would absolutely NOT recommend this facility. They'll say anything to get you in and keep you there, but no promises were kept. Absolutely negligent to psych patients. I find it concerning that when my husband went back because the antibiotic he was on was not…read moreworking (nobody's fault), but when my husband told me the doctor prescribed a new antibiotic and then told him to hold onto the antibiotic that didn't work for an infection that might occur down the road, I was a little taken back. He then said, I don't know if I should take the new antibiotic yet because I already took one of the prior antibiotics this morning, I said, didn't the doctor advise you on this? He said, no. So I called up the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist and she said it was ok to start the new prescription right away and to throw the old one away. I said, the doctor told him to hold onto it for an infection that might occur down the road and she was taken back that a doctor would suggest that. She said, not ever antibiotic works for every infection. She said for example an antibiotic used for a sinus infection is not the same antibiotic that you would use for a bladder infection. She then stressed that the prior antibiotic should be thrown away right away.
