The first sign was that the associate at the GB branch was unable to describe the deposits policy. When I tried to set up a web account it became clear that the Union linked another account holder's phone number to may account & I was unable to create a login for weeks. Then there were a number of security compromises through the website. When I tried to change my address I was told that I would be sent an electronic form to change it & the link led to no webpage. A number of contacts to the email with link went unanswered. Most recently I tried logging in to find out I'm locked out & need to answer a security Q. After checking the email account on file & my phone I found no email or text from the Union. To sum it up, if you value your time & personal information look for another credit union

I decided to replace my work minivan as the mileage is getting up there. (I prefer Dodge Caravans or Chrysler minivans because the rear seats fold into the floor for cargo space). I never shop locally because I find better deals and more choices by searching online in a wide radius from Pittsfield. I found the perfect used Dodge in New Hampshire--a 2010 in amazing condition. It had one owner, 86k miles, no accidents, an excellent service history, and was priced very reasonably. However, I was turned down for the loan by Greylock, despite having eight perfect auto loans with them in the past. I never missed a payment and always paid my loans off early. I understand they have to consider the age and book value of the vehicle, but they should prioritize a long-term customer's proven record. My 20-year history should prove that I am not a risk. I will never ask them for a loan again; they don't deserve my business, and I will be closing my account to switch to a different bank.
