I've been getting my taxes prepared by Zulch for over 10 years and have had beyond excellent…read moreservice. This business has had enormous integrity, honesty and a high level of customer service. In fact, as this business has moved and expanded I decided to stay with the company due to the level of service. Have there been a few bumps? Sure, but mostly do to ramping up new people. Even as the economy has tanked and I have gone through my ups and downs Zulch, Inc has worked with me on reducing debt and making sure my taxes have been up-to-date and taken care of immediately. I have recommended Zulch, Inc to numerous folks who have stayed on year over year.

Hello, I've been…read moreworking w/ Kevin Zulch in a professional capacity for over 10 years. I have been a Small Business Consultant for both Wholesale Design Companies & Fashion & Gift Retail Stores. While I am capable of almost all financial guidelines for these types of businesses, I am nowhere near being an accountant. I can set up systems for business to track expenses, categorize them, produce P&L's, etc, but really have no idea what to depreciate, how to handle the tax needs of various independent business owners setup in different tax situations (LLC's, S-Corps, Sole Proprietors) Etc. This is where Kevin comes to the rescue. I have had both difficult & easy clients (personality wise); Kevin was able to handle both w/ professional aplomb. As well, all of my clients had needs very particular to the Wholesale/Retail Industries, with many difficult to track overlaps between their personal & and professional financial lives. Kevin was able to sort out all their knotted, tangled situations, satisfy me, my clients & produce accurate & helpful tax filings. I would not hesitate to recommend Kevin to anyone for either personal or professional needs. My only caveat would be to act quickly ~ his business is popular & growing & the sooner you begin working w/ him, the sooner you tax worries & headaches will go away. I would also like to add that over the years I've had my own share of financial questions I needed help w/ that were very personal (deaths in the family, medical troubles, etc): Kevin is extremely easy to talk to, nothing shakes him & he is impeccably respectful & circumspect regarding all conversation. Yay for M&T!

I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this bank. Although they have their thoughts together,…read moreI can't stress enough about the bad rates and fees this bank has. And it isn't just the whole Red Hook branch that get's me wondering how they are getting away with these high rates for so long? I was in here a few times during 2011(mainly to change coins to bills and bills to coins) and each time I felt like this was the wrong decision to make. I know it was an even switch, but it just doesn't seem like this is a reputable place. I mean, the floors look clean and all, so it's not that, but something else; it's just not right what their customers have to go through, when they bank with M&T. It seems like they have fees for all sorts of things(even more than what Bank of America is beginning to charge their customers). I don't know. My mom left the bank, my grandma left the bank, and so did my father. It used to be an okay bank to use, when it was First National of Rhinebeck/of the Hudson Valley, but now, well, I'm never going to use it, unless I'm changing money from one to another or simple transactions that don't involve saving money, here.

I set a personal goal for myself that I would purchase a place of my very own before I turn 30…read more Since that day is rapidly approaching, I decided to really buckle down at the beginning of this year and search for a new place to call home. This really called for a lot of self-reflection on my part. Where do I want to live? What kind of property do I want to buy? How will it affect my commute to work? What's the meaning of life? Okay, maybe too philosophical - but nevertheless I needed to do some soul searching. I wanted to stay in a city (I can't do suburbs) - so financially the type of property that made the most sense for me was a co-op. Now that I had decided the type of property and location, next for me was finding an agent. Enter Lisa Bucolo - we hooked up through one of my mother's colleagues who worked with her in the past. After looking over the geographic areas she served, I thought she would be able to help me best choose a place. I have to admit I wasn't the most available person when it came to showings - my work schedule is all over the place so it was sometimes difficult for me to see properties, and I was really specific as to where I wanted to purchase which somewhat limited my choices. However, Lisa was always professional - she was quick to respond to emails and was flexible when it came to scheduling showings and any impromptu matters that came up. She's very knowledgable and answered all the questions I had through the buying process - she also recommended the company I used to finance my mortgage. This was the first time I had ever gone through the buying process, and Lisa did an awesome job guiding me through it. I would have no qualms about recommending her to a friend or using her again in the future.
