Please take the time to read, as this may be quite lengthy…read more I know the nature of doing business is trying to make a profit, however, based on our personal interaction with Paul, you would never get the impression that making a profit was what mattered. He made it abundantly clear that you and the loss of your beloved pet is what mattered. We called to seek services and without even hesitation or the mention of packages and pricing, all Paul wanted to know was "What was her name." Not in a way to write up a form, but in general interest of wanting to know what important pet has left your family. My family has been in animal rescue for years and no one has ever taken that caring approach on wanting to know about the pet first. What was she like, how she mattered to you and her importance in your life. He made you feel like you indeed are dealing with a loss and it was definitely significant. Upon meeting him, it was understood why. He had a dog, Brady, that was his whole world. This dog travelled the nation with him and was his companion for years. He was known in the community and was very beloved. Sadly, he passed away and Paul knew first hand the great loss it weighs on the heart. He took that loss and somehow translated into being able to comfort those during their sadness and making them feel like they are not just a transaction. He sympathized, because he felt that pain before. He understood, because he has been there before. And for some, these pets are their whole world, and he has known that, because he had Brady. This is the kind of care that you want handling your cremations for your fur babies. You want someone who will cradle them, as they carry them away from your car and you want someone who hands you back a beautiful urn with a lovely wildflower seed heart to plant, so that the love continues to live on. I do not say this lightly, but if you are in your time of despair due to pet loss... Paul is the best person to handle your cremation needs. Thank you Paul.

We never want to need a place like Life Tails, but when we do it is so immensely comforting to know…read morethey are around. Our vet (The Visiting Vet) comes to our house for appointments, so when we knew our guy Franks had really just fought his last night with laryngeal paralysis we called her and she agreed to come over that afternoon. Our vet had already made all the arrangements, so we did not have to do any of the work, but Life Tails was truly amazing. After our vet left at 3:45, Life Tails was there by 4:05 to pick Franks up. They were so kind. I had to leave the room because I mentally just could not handle him being taken away, but Mr. MVP said they were very super gentle and made a funny and very helpful comment on how amazing Franks coat is (the gentleman thought Franks was all hair, but this made Mr. MVP laugh because Franks was BIG - 75 pounds big). Life Tails called us just two days later and we were able to pick Franks back up. He came back to us in a wooden box that suits Franks really well. We have used other cremation services in the past and have ended up buying other pottery or boxes, but this box does Franks proud. Some non-pet people may think pet cremation is crazy, but until you have loved and been loved by a dog for 12 years you will not understand how painful it is to have a four legged family member die. Life Tails helps makes this extremely terrible process less so.
