I've now spent 3 days cutting those branches to 16" myself.... Should have known better than to pay before the job was finished. To add INSULT, Cory borrowed $50 "for gas" when I handed him a check for the job. I told him he could pay me back when he returned the next morning to finish the neighbors job. then the next morning I told him he still owed me $50... AND after he left I texted him requesting a repayment. MY ADVICE? Don't give him a cent UNTIL the job is 100% complete.

Tony the owner is very friendly and Jenn in the office is very easy to deal with. I had two cottonwood trees taken down a few years ago and today they took out two large pine trees, thinned out for other pine trees and cut an Aspen that was rubbing on the roof they were in and out within a couple of hours, even make sure my gate was locked behind them! Good fair price, though still a good chunk of money but we're happy to pay fairly for good service. Other companies we called said they couldn't get to us for weeks and seemed to snub us for the small job - the manager/owner of B&B answered personally right away, treated us with great respect despite our small job (the key of any business!), followed through sending us a quote the next day exactly as they said. Came just days later (after a weekend in between) with super fresh sod, and installed it wonderfully - we didn't even need to be home. Only had to cut out a few holes in it ourselves to get our sprinklers through but they did a great job sizing it the rest of the way. Weeks later we've got the best looking grassy curb strip on the block. Only suggestion would be to have them include some kind of care instructions - we looked it up online somewhere else to make sure we watered it properly but would've been nice to have a little guidance there. Nothing that wouldn't make us refer friends to them or hire them again. Great service, easy and pleasant to work with.

After a crazy summer storm toppled a massive tree, I needed it removed fast. I looked on Yelp and…read morealso had a friend recommend Atlas, so I asked for a bid that would be required by my insurance. The best part of about the whole experience was how fast they were able to get things done. The tree came down about 7pm, and I had a bid before noon the following day. We pulled the trigger after getting approved by the insurance, and they were onsite within two hours, and had it all gone and done darn close to within 24 hours of the fall. Now, that is probably not a realistic expectation all the time--they happened to be working on another project nearby and were able to mobilize equipment--but getting a 50-foot cedar off of your house is not a sit-around-and-wait kind of job. I was pleased to have the crane out. It might quite the spectacle for the neighbors, but not every tree crew in town has a crane and the fact that they were able to remove the tree in segments, safely, and lift it off with that crane was very reassuring. Maybe (?) it could have been done without the heavy equipment... but I'd rather always be safe than sorry. Now, that kind of rush service comes at a premium. We had a full crew here for nearly the entire afternoon, and the crane, and all the cleanup, and with a post-storm rush charge we were over $3500 for the whole ordeal. But the insurance adjustor seemed to find it reasonable, given all the circumstances, and though I probably could have found a cheaper alternative, I felt good about Atlas. As others have stated, Mike is the lead sales guy and is good to deal with. I didn't have to deal much with the crew, so I can't say if they're holding up their end. But they did get things taken care of quick, and cleaned up everything behind them, didn't cause any additional damage, and that's really all I would expect. Unfortunately, in the entire industry, there does always seem to be a disconnect between the office and the labor, as I found while seeking additional quotes.
