The Hotel completely misrepresented itself. As stated but not true, no lounge or restaurant, no beach towels or umbrellas, not a working elevator or hot tub. Customer service was absolutely horrible when I inquired about a balance in the elevator and I had to walk five flights of steps to leave with my luggage without a courtesy call from them. The floor in the room was real gummy and I saw a roach at the coffee station. The lady at the desk named Jennifer was probably one of the rudest people in any hotel I've ever been to in my entire life and I travel a lot. Put a real damper on my trip!

Solid choice for a St. Augustine weekend. The hotel is brightly colored and located on the main drag just SW of the bridge to historic St. A. Location: five stars. Walking distance to the fantastic Ice Plant bar *must visit if you're into craft cocktails and bangin food* and Whetstone chocolates. It's a 25 minute walk to your sites - Flagler College, Columbia Restaurant, Ghost Tours, etc. Room: brightly colored, generous space for the two queen bed. We got a room with a wraparound balcony which didn't have a view but was very nice to have. Comes with microwave, fridge, Keurig with coffee and tea, two robes, complimentary toiletries, shower-only with grab bar, plenty of towels. Things I didn't like: the two pillows on the bed are SO THICK. I had to crane my neck up to place my head on the pillows so it felt unnatural and the second night I just slept flat on the bed. They were thick like a bed set cover you see at a store. Pool Area: small patio pool at the back of the building. Nice chairs and pool loungers. I went out at 4pm Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. Things I didn't like: there's only SIX pool loungers for the whole space. The rest are chair / table sets. This results in people moving loungers noisily from one side of the patio to the other if you're chasing the last bits of the sun. By 6pm the patio is fully in the shade. Breakfast: $10 for adults, $6 for kids, and definitely worth it! See pictures! No complaints. Attentive service. Tasty food. It's a great opportunity to take an Apple, Orange, muffin, bottle water to go. Overall, would definitely consider as a place to stay again!

Wowowowow. Love this hotel and our weekend stay here. Front service people, GREAT. They were super friendly and accommodating. All the workers here were very nice and polite. The room was SO nice. Our room had a kitchen, bathroom, couches, office space, and two queen beds (comfiest beds ever btw) One side of the hotel is the road and the other side is overseeing the water by downtown. The pool area and jacuzzi were great. I would really love to stay here again if I'm ever visiting st. Augustine in the near future

Wow! I'm so glad I booked here when planning my last-minute weekend trip to St.Augustine. I'm assuming that this hotel is brand new because there aren't any reviews on Yelp and only a few online... this hotel is definitely going to grow in popularity in no time. This hotel is immaculately clean, spacious, and has an excellent staff. When you enter the hotel, there is an area where you can grab some fruit-infused water (nice touch). I went to the front desk and was greeted by a very friendly man (I believe his name was Matthew).. I had arrived too early and my room wasn't ready, but Matthew took my phone number and said he'd call me once it was ready for me. I decided to take that free time as an opportunity to explore the Old City area (conveniently 1/2 a mile away!!) I strolled around, grabbed lunch, did some sight seeing, and got a call stating my room was ready. When I checked in, I was greeted by Dillon and his big smile and friendly personality! Check-in was beyond simple and I was sooooooooo impressed when I heard I had a room on the top floor (5th floor) with a view of the water.. gorgeous. The room was huge and everything was NEW! I felt like royalty! Lol.

Great hotel. I come to St Augustine for work and found it on Hotels.com. Hotel is very clean. Staff is great! Rooms are really big and I love the wet bar. Beautiful views are always a plus. Only challenge is the bed was a little hard for my liking but that's ok. I still slept very well. It's easy to get around town. Nice place. I will definitely stay here again!

I loved discovering a cat curled up there on our last day who was friendly and enjoying the morning sun. Breakfast was delicious with an egg bake and waffle our two days. With fresh fruit, bread board, juice, and coffee, there was more than enough to eat. They also hosted a social for the guests but the timing didn't work out for us to attend. It was quite the spread when we peaked in one night. We really enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the large porch. The first day it was raining but we were covered so not an issue. The second day it was sunny and clear. Beautiful views of the water. The staff was fantastic and took care of all of our needs. Great stay!

I had remembered…read morethis hotel was in downtown Saint Augustine, across from Flagler College, when we were going to spend the night in town. I'm glad we did, as we had a lovely night. The room was nice and spacious, with odd closets, but they worked for the time we were spending there. They also had robes if we needed to be bougie and prance around. We slept well and had a nice view of the square between the Lightner Mansion and Flagler College. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. They gave good recommendations on how to get around Saint Augustine, which had been a minute for me, so it was good to get a refresher. Sparkling wine at the front desk when we checked in was excellent and helped us unwind after the drive from South Florida. They have a gym and pool that I believe is accessible through the second floor, so I will have to remember that for our return trip. Also, they have a Starbucks on the lobby floor, which was great to get our morning pick-me-up. The bar and restaurant were very stylish, lots of Spanish influence from the 15th and 16th centuries. The cocktails were also solid. I didn't care for the water pressure and temperature, as they were difficult to adjust and ensure we were getting the correct settings. It was pretty scalding hot, so it took a couple of minutes to get it right, and then I kept it on the setting for my wife since I didn't want her struggling to mess with it. Apart from that, the experience was great. We enjoyed the sparkling wine and the accommodations when we checked in. The valet was good to have, as I didn't want to mess with street parking, but it is more expensive; take note.

The lower level period touches and decor are divine, and the location is just about perfect -- close to everything the old town has to offer. The guest rooms though? Eh, for a so-called 'resort' I was not blown away. I get the historical angle and an old building and all, but unfortunately (in my experience) that usually means a compromise on some level. Sure, the bed was very comfy, but the shower - and bathroom in general - was mediocre at best, with dated fixtures and not so great pressure. The room was fairly small-- fine for a solo traveler like me --- made interesting with matching eclectic furniture but not at luxury level. Just pointing it out.

I used "reservationdesk.com" (Expedia-?) to make this reservation. The agent PROMISED that we would be on a second floor with a BAYFRONT VIEW. When we arrived at the MARIN HOUSE B&B, there was no waterfront view at all, and we were on the first floor, crammed into a little corner on the property. At check-in, we were basically told that, it's your problem because we used a third-party ("reservationdesk.com"). FINALLY, a week later, we finally got our receipt. Marin House said that they could not even give us a receipt because we went through a third-party. So, one week later, I see that we were charged for three nights, even though we checked out after the first night. ReservationDesk.com said that they contacted Marin House, who told them that since we checked out after the first night, it was against their B&B POLICY, and they are refusing to refund FOR THE TWO NIGHTS THAT WE WERE NOT EVEN THERE!!!!! EVEN THOUGH WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT THE ROOM. Sandy, the owner, got her britches into a big bunch because we were singing, and our choice of language apparently offended the geriatric crowd there.... SO, FOR ONE NIGHT, SANDY @ MARIN HOUSE IS CHARGING US OVER $1,500.00‼‼‼. THIEVES. THIEVES. THIEVES. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES.
